I booked this hotel for a quick getaway, mainly because as a five-star property with a pool and gym, the off-season price seemed very reasonable. Upon arrival, the experience was truly stunning! Our butler, Xiao Ai, contacted us in advance. Not only did we receive complimentary breakfast for our multi-night stay, but because it was the off-season, they even upgraded us to a 65-square-meter suite on a higher floor! The hotel's facilities, guest rooms, lobby, dining, and service were all genuinely five-star standard, truly exceeding expectations! The surrounding area is also very lively, with several commercial districts, some trendy and some more local, offering a wide variety of food and drink options. It was also very convenient for driving out of the city. Before we left, the housekeeping staff even gave us some adorable yak plushies, which we loved! This was the biggest little joy of our trip to Xining!

Weiji is easy to find. We chose this place because it's conveniently located for the Qinghai Lake shuttle bus. The name is only in Chinese, so it might be difficult for foreigners to find. The people of Xining are truly welcoming. The staff here are all bright and welcoming. Thank you to everyone. The hotel room is bright and clean. No frills. The only thing I wish I had was a refrigerator—you can ask the floor manager to store it if you need it. I planned to stay for one night. But one more night! I wanted to stay longer, but the lack of a washing machine was disappointing, so I moved to another place due to the lack of amenities. There are no coin laundries in this area, and I was surprised to see prices for each item. The hotel is in a nice building on the corner next to the Red Cross Hospital. Mojaji, the bustling Insadong area, is a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast isn't provided, but I always eat meat, so I'll have something to eat! Since there are plenty of ingredients, buying a variety of vegetables and making a salad for breakfast is no problem. Instead, I carry olive oil or balsamic vinegar, so a sprinkle of cachaho salt makes for a delicious meal. Highly recommended.

Qinghai specialty store. Daxin Street Night Market is nearby. Convenient transportation, I take the airport bus to the train station and get off and then transfer to the bus. If you take a taxi from the train station for 15 yuan to the hotel. This time I got full service.

The room is very big and feels like home. It looks like a homestay made by my own home, and the owner still grows flowers in the house. When I went there, it was already heated. It’s no problem to wear short sleeves and eat ice cream in the house. Downstairs is a breakfast shop and a convenience store. It’s just a bend from the popular Qilian Tianjing Yak Bone Soup, which is very convenient.
