Honestly, during the off-season, for a room type like this at just over 150 (CNY), staying on the 60th floor is incredibly good value for money. The room itself is quite spacious. I actually booked this place after reading a review, and honestly, I think it's perfectly fine. I dislike situations where customers are clearly in the wrong or leave bad reviews unfairly, and then the boss blames and scolds the staff. I don't like that. So, sometimes when guests are being unreasonable or trying to take advantage, whether it's a staff member or the owner responding, I think it's perfectly acceptable. A spade is a spade.

Facilities: The apartment is well-equipped, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area.
Cleanliness: The room was clean and hygienic, with no strange odors.
Environment: The apartment is very close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive away. Taxis are also very convenient, and there's a shopping mall nearby, so food and drinks are easily accessible.
Service: The service was excellent, and the airport pick-up service was great; just contact the owner in advance. They also responded promptly to any issues.
The room was very spacious and offered great value for money.

The sea view is absolutely stunning! There's a huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room that looks straight out to the ocean. You can just relax in your room and gaze at the endless sea, which was a really unique experience. The bed was also large and very comfortable. The facilities are all excellent too. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, the room’s view was great, bed very comfortable, nice cotton good quality lienen, flexible room service time, water/towels etc always topped up/ refilled. Free luggage storage possible. All really smooth and pleasant.
Keep in mind that if you choose smart room- need to say the commands to open the curtains in Chinese. I speak some Chinese and it made the check-in and stay easier, however the person who showed us the room wasn’t very friendly.

I took a last-minute trip to Xiamen during the May 1st holiday, and hotel prices everywhere had skyrocketed. This place, however, remained unchanged. I initially thought it might be an older hotel, but the reviews were all positive, so I booked two nights. The location is truly excellent – right next to a subway station and across from a mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. While not brand new, it was well-maintained. Being a hotel apartment, it came with a large refrigerator and a combo washer-dryer, which is perfect for trips lasting anywhere from 3 days to a week. The machine wasn't noisy either. The subway downstairs made getting anywhere very easy. The room came with two bottles of water daily, which wasn't quite enough, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately gave me six more. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The only minor thing I found a bit unusual was the breakfast – it was very vegetarian-focused, with no meat. It wasn't bad, just a bit different from what I'm used to.

The location is absolutely fantastic! We had stunning views of the Yanwu Bridge and the beautiful offshore overpass. To the east, you can see Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple, and to the back, there's Shapowei. The scenery from our room was incredible – truly a prime location. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped, quiet, clean, and hygienic. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends!

The room's location is fantastic, near Xiamen University, with a shopping mall right downstairs, making travel very convenient. The room facilities are good, and the hygiene is also quite nice. Outside the window, it's half mountain, half sea, though Block B obstructs the view a bit, it's not a major issue. The host was very enthusiastic, helping to recommend delicious restaurants and New Year's Eve activities. Overall, it's a highly recommended place.

Title: Great location and view, but challenging for foreign travelers
Review:
This property is more of an Airbnb-style apartment rental than a traditional hotel. While the location and the view from the room are excellent, there are several points that foreign travelers should be aware of.
Check-in: The front desk counter does not provide room numbers or guidance. You must contact the owner directly via the Trip.com app's call function. Note that the owner does not speak English.
Room Guidance: I was guided to the room by two young men in casual clothes rather than hotel staff. They took photos of my passport and face for registration, but they seemed unfamiliar with the system and struggled for a while.
Facilities: Hot water stopped in the middle of my shower; this might be due to the water heater settings or capacity. Also, the TV is only connected to a Xiaomi internet device, which requires a private account or additional payment to watch anything.
Wi-Fi: I scanned the QR code in the room, but the AP for my room (1906) didn't exist. I eventually managed to connect to the signal for the neighboring room (1907).
Amenities: Only disposable paper towels are provided. I recommend bringing your own towels if you prefer real ones.
Privacy: On the day of checkout, cleaning staff entered my room while I was out for a walk—well before the actual checkout time. I found their cleaning cart left inside my room when I returned.
Summary: It feels like a residential apartment converted into a rental service. It can be quite inconvenient for foreigners due to the unconventional service style. Stay here for the view and location, but be prepared for some DIY-style hurdles.

The location is right inside the Petronas Twin Towers, which is fantastic. The view from the window is absolutely perfect, offering a complete view of Gulangyu Island. It's beautiful at dawn and dusk. The bathtub is by the window, and soaking in it while enjoying such a view is truly invigorating.
The nearby Conrad Hotel also offers the same view, making it well worth the price.
Furthermore, there's a shopping mall downstairs with restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets, which is incredibly convenient. It's also just a 6-minute walk to Shapowei, another major selling point.
The room has a minimalist style that I like, with a smart TV and curtains. The staff was also very lovely, always smiling and helpful. Thank you!
The only drawbacks are: 1. Poor soundproofing; you can hear footsteps or luggage being dragged upstairs; 2. Low ceilings, so they divided one floor into two; 3. There's currently no subway station nearby; 4. Although it's advertised as a non-smoking room, there was an ashtray and a lingering tobacco smell.
However, overall, it's very good value for money and a pleasant trip.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved my stay at Yunhai Yuxi Hotel Apartment! The room was spotless, so clean and beautifully maintained. It felt incredibly cozy, with a calm, home-like atmosphere that made it hard to leave.
The view from the apartment was stunning day or night, it’s something you’ll always remember. What really made the experience special was the owner and the staff at the reception, so gentle, kind, and genuinely hospitable. From the warm welcome to the small thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being cared for by friends.
And honestly, for the quality, comfort, and experience, the price is far below the value you get here. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended I’ll definitely stay again! 🌸

Near a big shopping centre, convenience stores galore, plenty of affordable places to eat, very close to the metro station, there is a gorgeous park 5~7 min walk from the flat. Many public bicycles to choose from (although with a foreign passport, only the blue bikes named Hello bike are available).
The room is gorgeous, with half of the room fitted with windows. Being on the 17th floor, the scenery is gorgeous. You can see the beautiful mountains surrounding parts of the area.
The flat is clean, with a kettle available, 2 free bottles of water, toilet paper, towels, free toiletry. There is a big fridge with freezer compartment in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. There is a big wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Free washing machine is a PLUS!
Downsides: Being on the 17th floor, it takes ages to go up and down..You have to queue to access the lifts.
The flat is noisy (the rain in itself, when touching the windows), the neighbours (I don't think the neighbours were particularly noisy, just the building having thin walls and ceilings/floors): You can hear the kid upstairs running, the next door neighbour singing etc. There is also a machine (couldn't figure out what it was) right next to the washing machine, it makes a loud noise 24/7, like a boiler.

GGuest UserGood: very closed by train station like 8 mins walk. Front counter lady was helpful. Price was a deal.
Bad: cleaning is not done well, we found empty cigarette box under the bed. Provided plastic slippers were extremely dirty which we don't dared to use. Bathroom is very small jam with toilet, open shower and washing machine in approx 16sf room. Therefore, the toilet and washing machine gets wet after every use of shower. Since there was only disposable towels provided (large paper towel), we can't even use it to wipe the toilet dry. Although it's closed by Xiamenbei train station, keep in mind, it's far from tourist place in case you want to visit. It takes almost an hour by subway.

IIndrekhThis is the landmark of the Xiamen city. View is superb and neighbourhood is nice with Lot of young people. I booked High Rise apartment but for some reason I got apartment in lover possible level. It’s more than 50 floor high building but I got room in 18th floor. As well room size was
Not like described. I asked non smoking room but got room with smoke smell and ashtray was included. Bed was hard like stone and cinema asked for administrator. Check in needed calling for landlord and without any Chinese skills it may be difficult. As well landlord asked us to register ourselves thru app and it was as well only Chinese. Not easy for foreigners. After my complaint landlord gave another apartment what was in 50th floor and bed was much more softer. Thank you for that. Strange was that normal towels were not included. Instead of normal towels there were some strange disposable towel. Building himself is almost new but some mouldering is visible and that is not nice. As well the windows were a bit dirty.
AAnonymous UserOverall it's pretty good. The check-in desk is a bit far away. The bathtub in the room is not usable. But the environment is really good. Maybe there are still enough people in the villa area during the Spring Festival, so it won't be too deserted.
