The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit.
Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off.
There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated.
Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.

Guest UserRocky Mountain self-driving to stay at this hotel in the hot spring, the overall law is quite satisfactory, did not step on the thunder. Stayed for three nights.
I like the convenience of parking the most. Get off the bus and go directly to the door. It is especially worry-free to drive with a bunch of outdoor equipment. The price is very friendly in the hot spring town.
There are two shortcomings: the room will have unknown bugs, the shower water pressure is weak, the water is a bit small, in addition, everything else is OK. It is very convenient to have a refrigerator in the room, you can get some ice water to drink on the road.
Checked in Olive Lake, Numa Falls, Marble Canyon, Paint Pots, Continental Divide, the natural scenery of Rocky Mountain exceeded expectations, the lake, canyon, color mineral springs have charms, soaked Radium Hot Springs Aquacourt on the way, very comfortable, can also exfoliate, soak the skin slippery. Unfortunately, Sinclair Canyon closed and couldn't go. It is recommended to stay if the budget is ordinary and used for overnight rest.

I understand this is a budget hotel, but I wish it had been clearer that there would be no housekeeping at all during the stay—not even bed-making or basic cleaning. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, although it’s marketed as a hotel.
Unfortunately, I also had a strong allergic reaction to the bed, which made it really hard to sleep. The air conditioner was extremely loud, and even when turned off, there was still a constant noise coming from somewhere—possibly the ventilation system, but I couldn't tell for sure. There was also quite a bit of traffic noise from the nearby road (could be a highway).
That said, the room was spacious and had a small table to work at, which was convenient. The kitchenette was clean and functional, and the bathroom was in good condition. The closet space was also good (note that I traveled by myself).

The location is slightly off downtown; if you have a car, it's not a problem. Street parking is fine; you can pay $19 for a night. The flat is huge for two people. The facilities are in good condition. There are two Dyson fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. We were here in the summer, but the temperature at night was around 12-14. It's good not to have AC in the room, and the room still feels cool enough with the balcony door and the bottom windows opened in the bedroom and the living room, even without turning on the fans. There are washing machines with a drying function in the room, which are free to use, but you must bring your detergents or buy them at the front desk. I liked the living environment and the fresh air here. As it's off the main road, I enjoyed the silent evening without traffic noise.

The Alpen Motel was very clean and well located between Radium Hot Springs Village and the hot springs themselves. The Sinclair canyon is a beautiful sight a short walk up the hill. The room was small, but had everything needed including AC for the uncharacteristically hot weather. The whole experience was very hands off, with the office being at the Apple Tree Inn across the street.
Unfortunately housekeeping did not come while we were out, so we did not have refreshed coffee for the second morning. The power also went out twice (night and then again in the morning) and there was no backup power source. This is of course no fault of the hotel’s, but it would have been nice to have an emergency light source in the room.

This room was a bit inconvenient. When we wanted to cook, we found that only one of the four stove burners was working, which made it difficult to prepare meals.
During bathing, we also heard an alarm sound, likely indicating that the heat pump needs maintenance.
Aside from these issues, everything else was fine and met our expectations.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It was very convenient to reach the city centre and many popular tourist attractions.
We especially appreciated the early check-in, which made our arrival much easier. Thank you for your hospitality and for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We would gladly stay here again.

The hotel has a parking lot and there is a bus stop not far from the hotel. Self-check-in is very convenient, the interior is clean and well-equipped, not only can cook, but also laundry and drying function.

The facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better.
Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!

赵No breakfast, but there is coffee, it is very convenient to bring children, parking for 32 or so Canadian dollars a night, go out for a few minutes is a lively food street, the supermarket is also nearby, very close to the beach, go for a walk at night! I will go next time, if I bring my child! Yes, the highlight is the kitchen, everything is there, take the baby to the supermarket to buy the ingredients to roast a pizza to eat, the dish and the knife, the fork and the pot cup are more complete than my home, very good!
