There was a serious shortage of parking spaces, so I ended up parking on the street. The hygiene level was pretty good, and the location was not very convenient, but the space was very large. The living room and dining room were also really large, and a washing machine and dryer were provided.

Good location. Little bit complicated instructions for getting a key. Initially I thought it was service apartment so that I need to check in at the reception or something. But It was AirBNB. You should help them to clean the house before you leave. Overall, it was good stay.

Very Good
WwynniedengStayed in Feb 2025 but there's a massive construction next to the hotel, so make sure you book a room that's away from the construction site. Initially the suite I booked was very nice, since I asked for a change due to it was facing directly to the site, the room was small.
GGuest UserNot that clean. It's ok. TV doesn't connect even though it has an option to. Staff leave early and no phones to call reception. I didn't get a WiFi password I had to ask the lady next door because reception closed right after I checked in.
It's not too bad. All I needed was a bed and a bathroom but I can't say it was clean. It was just tidy, at least the sheets were clean. Carpet was definitely not. Also, blinds in bathroom are broken.
GGuest UserA hotel that exceeded expectations. I booked a one-bedroom suite with a large living room, a separate bedroom and a kitchen. There is a supermarket near the hotel, so it is very convenient to buy steak and cook it. If you are too lazy to cook, there are also Chinese restaurants nearby that are also delicious. The most important thing is that the hotel has free parking. You don't have to worry about roadside charges or parking is too expensive. You can park anywhere you want, which is very important in Australia.
GGuest UserOne bedroom apartment with kitchenette was well serviced and ver clean. Crispy clean sheets, very quiet air-conditioning, clean mould-free bathroom, toilet and shower. Great facilities for eating in and walking distance to Canberra centre and eateries, while set in well established parkland area. EV charging on premises was so welcome as my car was almost empty on arrival. Definitely go back there if visiting Canberra again.
LLao muA very quiet, clean and well run hotel. Very close to Parliament House and a 15 minute bus ride from Canberra CBD (No. 59). There is a local shopping centre with lots of restaurants, cafes and a Coles supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of off street parking if you have a car. Good value in this location.
Mmankey tamerFantastic little rooms that are central to everything, great customer service, and the rooms are full of all the amenities that you would need.
I would recommend it to everyone and certainly stay here again. Especially visiting during autumn is recommended as the city is so beautiful this time of year and with the views from the windows it make it so much better.
AAnonymous UserIt was my first time in the capital of Australia. I did some research and read other people's reviews. I finally chose this one. Of course, I also stayed in their chain hotels in other cities in Australia. Fortunately, I didn't live near the train station. It completely overturned my perception of a capital train station. It's too rubbish. In my big oriental country, the current town train stations are better than this one.
There are food places near the hotel, especially not far from the number one steak restaurant, which is good!
GGuest UserThe overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible.
GGuest UserHygiene: Some details are not good, but the overall hygiene is good.
Facilities: Very good, you can scan and order in the room (mostly fried food, but it is also very good), and parking is very convenient.
Environment: Seven minutes walk to the nearest light rail station, very quiet at night, and the environment is very good.
Service: OK, the bathroom door handle was broken when I checked in, and after notifying the front desk, they found someone to fix it.
(p1 is the first room balcony, p2p3 is the room & room balcony changed after argue, although they are of the same price, the area, light and view are really different)
GGuest UserThe Abode in Woden was the nicest motel we’ve stayed in for a long time . The location was great . Staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served great food . Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable, clean modern motel
