Aloft in Tainan, Taiwan, has exceeded my expectations with its welcoming ambiance, excellent vibes, and standout service. The hotel's proficient English-speaking and super-friendly staff, especially Dudu at the reception and Paul at the bar, adds to the seamless and enjoyable stay. Their exceptional service truly sets the tone for a remarkable experience. I must also mention the impeccable clean rooms and excellent amenities that further enhance the overall stay. Special appreciation goes to the Duty Manager, Sue Su, whose friendly and helpful nature has been a standout feature, enhancing the overall warmth and hospitality of Aloft. Kudos to Sue Su for turning my stay into a delightful experience filled with smiles and positive vibes!

Breakfast was decent. This is a hotel catering to students and faculty visiting the university across the street. Thé décor is monotone.

Stayed at the room with horizon club access. Nice ambience at the club with canapés from 5.30-7.30pm. Location is right beside the train station and many buses to take from the other side of the train station. Will come back again.

Rooms are clean & spacious. NT50 for toiletries as it's not being provided. Hotel staffs are also very polite n courteous. Hotel is walkable to many places of interest! 1. I recently stayed at the Lakeside Hotel and had a mostly wonderful experience. The room was sparkling clean with incredibly comfortable beds, making it a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of delicious options. The hotel also offers a pool, sauna, and gym, which are great amenities, though it would have been nice if robes were provided for the sauna and pool. The location is fantastic, and parking is excellent, which made getting around super easy. The staff were helpful and friendly, always available when needed. However, there were a few downsides. In the hotel lobby and restaurant, you are required to order something if you want to sit, which was disappointing as there was no area to work or meet without buying something. It would have been nice to have a comfortable common area. Additionally, during breakfast, the staff were a bit overzealous in clearing dishes. It felt rushed, with them swooping in to take plates as soon as you finished your last bite, which made the otherwise amazing breakfast feel uncomfortable. Overall, despite these small issues, I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to test the famous mud springs. This hotel reportedly has one of the best spas. Tips: - I decided to stay overnight in the hotel (2 spa entry tickets with a double room + bfast for $2800) instead of using a day ticket to the spa (400$). The village is far from the city, so staying overnight may cost slightly more than a cheap city hotel, but you're not in a rush and looking for buses etc. - Each spa ticket is basically 2x tickets (1 for the normal spa, and 1 for the naked single-sex spa), so if there are 2 of you, you could go to the naked spa one day and the main spa the next. - The spa has about 15 different hot spring pools, of different temperatures + ingredients, some clear and some ”mud”. There's also mud facials and fish-cleaning for your feet. The electric pools send electric shocks through your body too. There's a swimming pool. - They speak English (basic but enough). - You need a swimming hat and a towel. I took mine but the spa front desk also offered them to borrow. - Plan on spending 3 hours. I'm not a spa lover, but even i found myself taking long. - I went in May and the weather is not at all hot at that height. - Most ********* take their instant noodles in, so that they can eat inside and stay all day. - The hotel is quite beautiful, made from wood (on the face of it). It's got lovely seating areas and they put nice fairy lights everywhere at night. - The hotel room is comparatively expensive for Taiwan at $2800 for 3* (minus the 2x spa tickets of $400 each), but the cheapest ”no window” room (it has 2 windows, but no view) is big and has 2 large concrete baths in (1 for hot mud water + 1 for cold water to dip in and out). Therefore, given that it is a beautiful location too, I do think it's very reasonable. - The breakfast is mostly chinese but there's some western bits. It's standard for 3* but the location of the eating area has beautiful views of the jungle. - It's a 15 minute nice walk to lots of restaurants and a convenience shop.

Service was amazing, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices are pretty good with letting you choose either a Western or Chinese style buffet breakfast. Room is clean and with a nice view of Tainan City (was on 12th floor).

The room was nice, clean without having crazy cold AC like many places I stayed in before. What I feel could be better is the refilling of Kleenex considering my perpetual allergies mean I use them up pretty quickly. The other would be having one button to turn off all the lights for sleeping. Other than that I was quite pleased with it.

The front desk staff are very friendly The room is overall comfortable and the bed is very comfortable Sound insulation equipment is also good Access control on each floor provides a sense of security Rent a motorcycle from the hotel for the day...$700 (24 hours It’s very quick to get directly to the Garden Night Market, and there’s no need to find a parking space. Then go for a walk on Haian Road... After checking out the next day, I rode my motorcycle to Narcissus Palace for lunch, visited Guohua Road and Blue Prints... and then returned it 🛵 The overall feeling is very convenient and saves time and trouble.

This is my second time here. I really like it. It’s suitable for family and friends to travel together. The public space on the 3rd floor is indoors and has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee, etc. You can use it. There is also an outdoor space, which is very suitable for buying all kinds of Tainan food in this area. It’s good to have dinner and chat here. place
