not bad. The service staff was a bit indifferent, and then the room must not be full but they arranged me in the row without a view. Losing this part of thoughtfulness sometimes makes things a lot worse. But overall it is clean and spacious, and the location is great. Hard power is the main advantage.

Aloft Tainan Anping is the Marriott Group's first hotel in Tainan. Opposite the hotel there is a large green space in Yizai Jincheng Park, and further away is Anping Port. I like the completely unobstructed view. There are many restaurants nearby. It is also very close to Anping attractions such as Anping Old Street, Lin Moniang Park, and Deyang Ship Cultural Park. The decoration is quite fashionable and young, with various geometric shapes and bright colors that are very lively and eye-catching. Marine elements such as sailboat ropes, milkfish, and oil lamps are also added. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a beautiful hotel on the internet. The attitude of the service staff is also very good, the check-in process is smooth and the treatment is very relaxed and pleasant.

It is my third or fourth time staying in this hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable. This is the tallest building in town and should be the most luxurious hotel there. It is right next to the Tainan Rail Station and is super convenient. Staff service is great. There aren’t much changes since I last stayed here in 2014. Nonetheless it is a place worth staying in Tainan.

The Grand Banyan is a pleasant surprise. Centrally located in a not too busy area. Rooms are spacious, and amenities are top-notch. Will definitely return.

Pros: - huge selection for breakfast! Many with local flavours. Must experience to believe - hotel comes with outdoor swimming pool, indoor jacuzzi, steam room - centrally located. Nearby attractions include Tainan Art Museum, Shinkong Mitsukoshi Department Store, Hayashi Department Store - staff are very polite, proactive and helpful Cons: - no bottled waters provided. Flask provided to get drinking water from water dispensers located on room floor

Nice resort with private in-room hot spring tubs. Location of room is not conducive for elderlies and if you have liggages. We have to lug our luggages from the reception lobby to the room which is located in another building and part of the resort and it's with stairs up and down. Luckily we met a nice lady staff who helped carry some of our luggages. Then when we almost reached our room, a guy manning the spa entrance told us we can call hotel lobby and arrange for staff to carry our luggages. The checked-in staff who guided us should have told us earlier and offered staff to carry our luggages since we had conveyed our difficulties to her.

Great hotel, it's very freshly renovated into stylish both luxurious and minimalistic looking place, loved it. Amenities are all good quality, they even have tooth floss! Room is spacious and comfortable. The only downside may be that the location is not for everyone. It is next block from major historic attractions (which is a good thing), but not super accessible with public transportation

I chose to stay at Zaixiadu when I travelled alone in Tainan. It is about 15 minutes walk from Tainan Station. There are many delicious foods nearby. There is a ubike for rent downstairs. The hotel also provides motorcycle rentals. The room is small and very clean. A bottle of water and earplugs and eye masks are provided when you check in. They are gone in the next two days. There are also water dispensers and microwaves in the public area, so it is not a big problem. The guests are very quiet. It may be because it is a weekday. I hardly met other people during the three days I stayed there. The public bathroom is also clean and bright. The hair dryer is a Dyson. You need to swipe the room card to enter the female toilet. It is very friendly for girls traveling alone. The front desk staff has a good attitude. There was a special reminder when the floor was being renovated at the hotel entrance the next day. However, the room is on the twelfth floor and it has no effect at all 😂. The only small problem is that the room card suddenly could not be swiped in on the third day of check-in. I went downstairs and asked the front desk to update it before it could be used. Overall, it is quite suitable for backpackers. I will choose to stay here again next time I come to play~

Nice modern hotel / hostel in the city with nice big kitchen and relaxing area (unfortunately on the 3rd floor, without a room key or the help from reception not able to get there). Room was spacious. Toothbrush, laundry etc. need to pay for it. Got a voucher of 50 ********* dollar to spend at the hotel. Very strict with check out time (11am). Got a call at 11:02 that I need to check out. Free water in the room available. Overall happy with the hotel, room and service.

I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant. First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge. Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned. Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef. I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel
