Hygiene: The hygienic conditions are good. We stayed for three days and there was no cleaning in the middle, but we will give you replacement napkins and mineral water and some things you want. Environment: The environment is good, but if you like quiet, it's not good, because the night market will be very late, and the entrance of the night market will block the whole road, you will feel very depressed, although you can come in from the alley next door, but the experience is still not very good? The hotel itself does not provide any services except accommodation. If you want to book a car or rent a motorcycle, you can go to the small pavilion on the right side of the hotel entrance to find the big sister inside. We loved Ock Pop Top. All of the staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. Especially Mr Duan who helped us arrange a slow boat and Mr Noi and Mr Air who gave my partner lots of tips for local fishing. We only stayed 1 night but we will be coming back for sure. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. You can learn a lot about Hmong crafts which is very interesting. The food and drink is delicious, I recommend the tamarind margaritas! The rooms are beautiful and full of eco friendly amenities like mosquito spray, shampoo, soap etc and locally crafted decor. The balcony rooms facing the Mekong are amazing. The location is out of the town centre but they offer a free shuttle service via tuk tuk, you may have to wait a while but you can relax in the bar while you wait. The sunset from the restaurant is amazing but be aware that between 5:30-6:30 the mosquitoes come out in full force! Cover up or bring the spray from your room and keep topping up.
