This year, Kyoto's red leaf season ended a little later, and luckily booked a room far below the November price. This door is not big but there is a hole in the sky inside. It feels like there is a townhouse built in 4-5. Our check-in time was relatively late, and the small requirements made to the front desk lady were met. There are two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our couple is a bit extravagant. It should not be crowded next time we bring our parents again (it is estimated that it is inconvenient for both parents to come). The block is very quiet, not far from Nijo City, about seven or eight minutes from Omiya Station, we dragged our suitcases on the quiet street at night a little embarrassing: D. Overall satisfaction, if the price is right, I will choose next time.

Very satisfied with the stay experience! Location: Very close to Kamogawa River and Kyoto Imperial Palace. You can enjoy the scenic spots on foot. However, there are less delicious food in the surrounding area because it is not in a bustling area, but it is only a few kilometers away from the downtown area. Environment: Very stylish, renovated old wooden house. I live in the largest room No. 1. If possible, I will definitely choose this room. It is larger than the others. There is a shoe-changing porch on the first floor. The living area is on the second floor. The balcony can be directly accessed. See the Japanese garden. I have to praise the courtyard, it is very beautiful and it is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard and have a drink. The room is very big. I love the wooden bathtub with a view and the Japanese-style living room. I feel like it's a waste to stay here. Service: The service attitude is great, but remember not to bring children under 12 years old‼ ️This is not obvious on the hotel reservation page. My friend brought his seven-year-old child. Fortunately, there was a Chinese-speaking front desk person who helped contact the manager to accommodate. We can check in, but the children cannot go to the restaurant area downstairs. Speaking of restaurants, my favorite is from the afternoon to 10pm, so! have! liquor! water! waived! fee! Are you really not afraid of an alcoholic like me? The only drawbacks are: the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the sounds from the street in the morning can be heard very clearly. Furthermore, the door frames are generally very low, and anyone over 1.7 meters tall may bump their heads. I bumped them twice a day on average. But don’t blame the hotel, that’s what Japanese architecture is. Will come again!

The room is the same as the picture. An old house was remodeled. The stairs are old, very steep, and a new handle is installed. Very interesting house. The bathroom has a faint woody fragrance. Picking some toiletries at the place where you stay feels that the Russians at the front desk have been staring at the customers. This is quite strange.

Designer apartment near Kyoto Station, the gateway to travel to the ancient capital [Connect inn Kyoto Station South] The interior has a European-style atmosphere, with white tiled flooring and a spiral staircase leading up to the fourth floor. The living space on the first floor is equipped with a sofa for relaxing and a kitchen to support a comfortable stay. Additionally, there are bedrooms with a modern design on the second and third floors. You can enjoy your stay in a private space separated by a door. On the 4th floor, there is a separate bathroom with a washing machine and TV, which is convenient for long-term stays. Fully equipped with shower booths and wash basins. There are no accommodations that can accommodate up to 8 people in one room near Kyoto Station. Please enjoy a new form of stay that is different from a hotel. We look forward to welcoming everyone.

The environment is first-class, but check in is not convenient. It takes a long way to get to the check in place from Kyoto Station. The check in location is not a homestay, and will help arrange a free taxi to the homestay, but the overall feeling is still relatively twists and turns. But the environment of the homestay is really good, children can play for a long time with light stairs, and the washing machine has a drying function.

Very cozy house, clean and bright. Loved the bath! Internet works well. The staff of this hotel chain are very polite and try to help with all your questions. We were taken from the registration point to the lodge in a corporate taxi. The beds are very comfortable and soft, we slept on them like babies. The area where the house is located is quite quiet and deserted, so unnecessary noise did not bother us. We will be happy to come here next time!

The place was nice but it wasn’t really close to anything and you have to take the bus or a taxi to get anywhere. There are some nice parks and temples nearby though but it really is in a neighborhood. The place is nice and peaceful. A good local udon shop is like a short walk away and there’s a gyoza restaurant nearby. The only issue was that it was not well cleaned. When I filled up the tub, it was full of detritus and upon closer inspection there were long women’s hairs around the rim of the tub. No women were staying there. The bathroom also had mold on the tub that caused an itchy rash and needed to be bleached to remove it. The room had not been dusted and there were also issues with hair. Other than that, the owner was polite and thorough but had asked us to communicate on WeChat, which I didn’t like. They were fine with email though after the first message.

The quality of the Rinn chain is guaranteed. The squat house has been redesigned and renovated. The style is close to the Xibenyuan Temple at hand. It is full of Zen. The bathtub with a small view in the courtyard is very comfortable. The children especially like it. The bed is very comfortable. Take a bath and sleep to relieve the fatigue of hiking all day. Walk to Kyoto Station for 10+ minutes. Open the window early in the morning and you can hear the bells of Nishi Honmachi Temple. Next time you come to Kyoto, you will still live here.

GGuest UserWhat a beautiful place! Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi is a house which has been refurbished with subtle taste and delightful creativity. There’s definitely magic to it! I loved walking on the pebbles in the downstairs bedroom - so soothing for sore feet. There’s also a smooth walkway to the bed if pebbles aren’t your thing. Upstairs there’s a tokonoma with scroll, as well as a full set of equipment for carrying out a tea ceremony, including of course, matcha. The host even had delicious matcha “financiers” waiting for us upon arrival. The outdoor bath is brilliant. It’s quite easy to fill and I’d highly recommend having an outdoor soak every night. Seeing as some in our group weren’t up for tourism in the city, it was doubly worthwhile to have stayed in such a house where they could breathe in Kyoto atmosphere without ever moving from the tatami!

BbrownberryIt is a temporary but nice and spacious home in Kyodo. It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, and the facilities are very good. The beddings on the tatami floor are so good that I slept like a baby for all three nights. The only inconvenience is that there’s no cleaning service for my three-night stay, making the trash bins a bit messy! But all in all, it is super great experience to stay in this lovely Japanese old house, with all the modern convinience such as floor heating, for a Kyodo holiday.

GGuest UserStayed for 4 nights with my family (3 adults 1 child). House well maintained and amenities provided (toothbrush, comb, cotton buds, bath salt, facial wash, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner). There were pots and pans, condiments, and rice too. Fresco Supermarket, Family Mart, yoshinoya, yayoiken, and McDonald's were all within walking distance. Very quiet neighbourhood, which was a nice break from city life. My family and I enjoyed staying here, and I will recommend it!

GGuest UserHighly recommended! A family experience that is very satisfying. I am very grateful to my friend for recommending this Kyoto Machiya. The double-storey house can accommodate four of us, as well as outdoor baths. Although I only stayed for one night, I will definitely stay again next time I return to Kyoto!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a single-family old Kyoto house, with a small two-story area and complete functions. The front desk and the phone have Chinese service. The reservation communication is very convenient. The front desk and the room are in two places. After the check-in, there is a staff car to the residence. The open-air bathtub experience is great. Enjoy the exquisite Japanese garden. In winter, it is equipped with outdoor heating. The house is not soundproofed for a long time. It will be awakened by the vehicle in the morning, but the whole is still a quiet residential area. If you book, please pay attention to the mailbox. You can reply to the service of a Japanese mattress by email. You need to reply to the email two days in advance. Since there is no timely reply, I didn't experience it! The overall is great. I want to feel the traditional local culture of Kyoto. It is recommended to book here.

AAnonymous UserThe room is oversized, with two bedrooms upstairs, one Japanese style and one Western style. The location is convenient, a few steps from Wujo Bus Station, and it is also very close to Kamogawa and Shijo Kawaramachi. The fly in the ointment is that the curtains can't shading, and they will wake up at 6 or 7 o'clock every day. Then stay for four nights clean once for free, and there is no disposable items other than towels. After calling, someone will send them the next day. In addition, there is no body milk in the room, and the check-in place is very complete and you can pick it up by yourself.

GGakiucI chose this accommodation to experience the squatter house, which is in line with expectations and can accommodate more than six adults. The place to stay is several streets away from Kyoto Station, and it is in different locations with Sakaya, but the first free connection to Sakaya will be provided at check-in. Both bedrooms are on the upper floors and the steps are high. If you are with the elderly, you can consider laying tatami mats on the lower floors.
