Qian Mansion is a unique hotel in a beautiful colonial mansion. It's rare to stay in such a special building in an authentic neighbourhood among narrow alleyways. I hope I get a chance to stay there again. The location is also convenient, close to the waterfront, metro and pedestrian streets where there are many food choices. A truly wonderful choice for your stay in Xiamen. The room was basic and comfortable. The staff get 10 stars. They are so kind and helpful. I really appreciate how they helped me considering my Mandarin is poor and I can't read Chinese. I saw how nice they were to other guests as well. My only problem was that there was 2 days of a film crew filming a television commercial. Guests could have been warned that they wouldn't be able to use the full hotel and perhaps received a discount for inconvenience. They took up most of the common spaces in the building and guests couldn't enjoy all the beautiful spaces. Men from the crew were constantly spitting. Spitting on the ground shouldn't happen within a hotel.

I loved this hotel. It is well designed and the staff were very friendly and willing to help. They have a dedicated wechat that you can contact for help during anytime if the day. It was easy to find, not far from the ferry pier and they sent be directions a day before arriving. The hotel was also near to a beach. The breakfast was fully vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious and well presented . The room itself was a little small, and the only issue was the shower was in the middle between the basin and the toilet. However there was an issue with my first room and they upgraded me to a better room. This room was bigger and the shower was bigger and also not in the middle. The room was clean and they provide free drinks . Due to the covid outbreak in Xiamen I was due to stay here six days but only ended up staying 2 nights as I needed to leave Xiamen . The hotel was kind enough to fully refund me the 4 nights I had booked and this was a major plus on their side. On check out they gave me some water while I was waiting and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel .

Facilities: The only thing that deducted 0.5 points. Other facilities are complete, including air conditioning (I remember it was a Panasonic adjustment panel + a display panel from another Japanese manufacturer), TV, internet, mountain spring filtered drinking water (introduced by the guy when he took us to the room), and a dry and wet separated bathroom. There are two swings and a clothes drying area in the backyard, and a dining bar and rest area in the front yard. The 0.5 point is that the bathroom in the room I stayed in did not seem to have special ventilation facilities, but it is understandable that for an old historical building, the procedures for making major changes are quite complicated. Service: The best part. The day before arrival, the staff contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time and ferry terminal, added me on WeChat and sent me detailed directions to the hotel. Second confirmation on the day of arrival. When checking in at the front desk, we were informed of various precautions, and then the guy took us to the two rooms of different types that we had booked, helped with our luggage, and introduced the facilities in the room. He also gave a brief introduction to the three villas and castles on the way. When we left the hotel, we were given a warm farewell and gifts. Environment: Castle style, booked for this stay experience. Next to it is Yu Garden, which commemorates Lin Qiaozhi. The pier is about 15 minutes' walk away. Hygiene: Very clean.

The guy at the front desk provided very good service. He made tea for us. There is a food street just outside. He also helped us rent electric bikes. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach. If you need anything, you can always contact the guy at the front desk. The stay was very comfortable. It was also nice to get up in the morning to watch the sunrise. It was a very good choice when coming to Xiamen.

The location is very convenient, a few minutes walk from Sanqiutian Wharf, we are too friendly for dragging the suitcase. The pier came over and passed the most beautiful corner, which can be enjoyed when there is no one in the morning. The inn is an old building that is very beautiful. Standing on the rooftop, you can see the sea. The facilities in the room are very clean and hygienic. The beauty at the front desk speaks softly and intimately, and the breakfast is unexpectedly delicious!

We had a good time at the hotel, which has very attentive and nice staff, and charming common areas where they served us complimentary afternoon tea after arrival and Chinese breakfast in the morning. The restaurant suggestions by the hotel staff were good. The hotel is in an old villa, but has been renovated to nice and modern rooms.

Facilities: Very satisfied, the bathtub, faucet, and toilet are all made of ”American Standard” with good texture, very clean and without water stains and dirt. Hygiene: Very clean and impeccable. Environment: Gulangyu is full of beautiful scenery, the wooden ceilings in the rooms and public areas are simple and elegant, and a wood fragrance permeates the heart when entering the corridor. The service is thoughtful and considerate, and the breakfast and afternoon tea gave me a surprise and must be praised 👍🏽.

Breakfast spread was amazing with good variety of tasty local dishes. Everyone was attentive and check in on us every now and then. Superb service we ever experienced in Wuyishan. Love their in-house tea eggs and had an unique experience with their specialised tea bath. Thank you for the memorable stay! We will be back again for sure 🥳

This hotel is nicely located as the garden right outside of yhe hotel is lovely! It’s close to the beach and easy to find as it’s near the art park which is written on many signs around the island. Service was great! Room was clean and modern and bed was very nice to sleep on-perfect firmness!! ❤️ would highly recommend it as a base on the island. :) it’s also right across one of the terminals.

Here, the fresh and elegant fragrance of tea and the clean and warm living experience are the finishing touches of a trip to Wuyi Mountain. 🛌The first is the living environment. Booking a B&B is like opening a blind box. I am very concerned about hygiene conditions and have experienced many mistakes in the past. However, the rooms in Nanshe are very clean, especially the cleaning details are very good. Even the corners that are not commonly used are not dusty. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and the bed is soft and comfortable. You can relax and unwind every time you come back to the room. (No difference between actual and photo!) 🍞There is a buffet breakfast cooked by the landlady and the boss every morning, even if we get up late (but it is recommended that everyone has breakfast before nine o'clock). I especially like the handmade steamed buns and soy milk made by myself! There are also sweet fruits~ 🎋The small courtyard of the B&B is well-proportioned and has gurgling water. It is my favorite decoration style. 🍵At Nanshe B&B, tea and accommodation are inseparable. We didn’t know much about tea and wanted to know more about it. The boss enthusiastically invited us to taste tea and taught us many ways to understand tea. He is a conscientious tea-making craftsman who loves tea-making. His eyes are bright every time he mentions tea. He also has a lot of achievements and experience in fighting tea. Although we are novices in tea tasting, we can still taste the difference. The boss's tea is definitely a good one. Everyone is welcome to have a tea fight with him~ 💙I rarely write reviews, but this stay experience really brought me a lot of surprises. This is also my first time staying outside and feeling the warmth of going home. Just like the name of the B&B, Nanshe, when I left, I already started thinking, when will I come back next time?

It is a Western-style building from the Republic of China period, and it is said to have been a filming location for movies in the past. One of the things to see in Gulangyu is the architecture, but if you want to experience staying there, I highly recommend this place. As you can see from the photos, all the facilities are good, and they also provide fruit and drinks. This is a place I would like to stay again next time.

The room is well-equipped and clean. It has a viewing balcony on the fourth floor with sea view and night view, just opposite Bagua Tower. It is really close to Sanqiutian Pier. It is very beautiful and comfortable to walk along the seaside at night and enjoy the night view. You can dine on the first floor of the store.

The location is very good, just next to the Sangu Scenic Area, about 1.2 kilometers away from the sightseeing bus Wuyi Palace transfer station, very close. Next to it is the Chongyang Creek Trail, and opposite is the Dawang Peak Scenic Area. There are food streets and supermarkets around 300 meters from the B&B, which is very convenient. The B&B is quiet in the bustling area, there is no noise around, you can rest well, the facilities are also complete, and the environment is very design-oriented. The boss lady has a very good attitude and the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic.

I heard that it was founded by a descendant of Zhu Zi, so I chose this one. After I moved in, I felt that I did not choose the wrong one. It reflected the owner’s intentions everywhere, especially the elegant cultural taste. It is different from the general practical homestays. It has a study room and a collection of the full set of ”Song Ke Zhu Zi Ji”. The space is just right to arrange the celebrity calligraphy and the owner. The collection of Yawan is both comfortable and culturally nourished, and I am very satisfied!
