Novotel Konya

Disappointing experience definitely not a 5 star hotel & Management were not warm or friendly. Hotel entry and foyer is clean and spacious . Rooms are clean and on the smaller size- due to its location there is a lot of traffic noise that penetrates the room so it is not conducive for light sleepers. We were a large tour group of 24 and the consensus amongst all of the guests was that the Airconditioning system is not efficient and and rooms were rather warm. We personally had an issue in our room and the hotels solution was for me to sign a waiver to allow the window to be fully opened. I would suggest they would benefit by upgrading their air conditioning system within the hotel as this should not be an alternative solution to their insufficient infrastructure. The pool was not available to use during our stay for some unknown reason . We found the Management service was not particularly friendly or helpful compared to the numerous other Novotel hotels we have stayed in where we have usually received a great level of service and hospitality.
Gherdan Gold Hotel

The hotel with unique bed! Address - Selçuklu, Konya Ambiance/Facilities - the ambience is very calm, near the tramvay station, not too crowded. taxi is available as well, just ask the receptionist if you need it and they will call it for you Highlights - the hotel is clean, the room is very spacious complete with an office, 2 TVs, the bed is round and unique. However you may need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they only provided shower gel in the bathroom. The breakfast is okay, typical turkish breakfast with bread, veggies, loads of cheese options, tea and coffee. Avg. Price per Person - 70€ per night Rating - 9.5/10 Absolutely recommended!!

We drove from Antalya to Goreme, and we went to Tuzi Lake on the second day of rest in Conya. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the environment was normal. At 8 o'clock in the evening, there was no one on the road, and the store was basically closed. . As a midway break, the hotel’s little brother will help with parking.
Ozpark Hotel

This is a very high quality building. The staff are very helpful though they do almost no English. We appreciated that one staffer walked us about 3 blocks to a restaurant they recommended which proved to be excellent. It could easily have won five stars if only two problems were overcome. Though we request smoke-free rooms, this room definitely had a pretty strong smell of cigarette smoke. We get the impression that foreign tourists may very seldom visit here, so perhaps it's impossible in the local culture to keep a number of rooms smoke free. (Our friends traveling with us happened to get a smoke-free room). Also, even though it was quite cold outside, the room was unusually hot. Even when we got up in the middle of the night to turn on the air conditioning (which should not be needed when it's cold outside) it never got cool enough to sleep comfortably. Finally, we just opened the window to cool off the room. But then some big dogs were fighting just outside making a lot of noise that kept us from getting to sleep. My friend and I tried the sauna at night but found it cooled off and needing a lot of time to heat up. We suppose it's really a great sauna and pool when you get there at the right time. A hotel with a lot of potential, but that needs to deal with a couple matters.
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Konya
4.4/584 Reviews
This hotel has to be one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. Location: Terrible location to visit sights. It’s 15-20 minutes from the main attractions and what appears to be an industrial area off the high way Service: We arrived, I’m pregnant and traveling with a 7 year old. No one assisted us with our bags. Staff was standing around idle in the entrance Ambience: Awful, lights are switched off in the main hotel. They claim to be 5 stars. I would say 2 is apt. It’s eerily depressing Room: So many issues with our room, drain and safe wasn’t working, the roll out bed they provided to my child had no quilt, and the bed was broken. Aircons malfunctioned. The hotels ventilation system smells of cigarette smoke, being pregnant this was unbearable. Woke up to congested nose, bedsheets and the entire room smelling of cigarettes. They tried to assist in changing our room. All of the rooms had the same problem. Customer service: About 2 staff members speak broken English, only able to communicate via Google translate. When we spoke to them about cancelling our reservation and issuing a refund, they said we are unable to. No manager is on duty. An absolute health hazard for me. After a 24 hour journey traveling to turkey, this is not the experience we wanted. Stay away, choose Hilton garden inn which is better location wise and cheaper. Don’t expect much from hotels in Konya.
Ramada By Wyndham Karapinar

Although Karapinar is a destination that we have had the opportunity to visit for years, it was a stop we chose to stay for the first time. Yes, the Ramada signature certainly has an undeniable value. But what makes a hotel feel like home is definitely the friendly staff. General Manager Mr. Metin is so humble and noble that the team he chose for the hotel is as friendly and helpful as he is. Everyone, from the delicious gourmet meals and breakfasts where you interact with the vocal artists, to the cleanliness of the rooms and the lowest staff, surprised us in a very positive way. We are grateful to Ramada Karapinar for offering us this warmth, which we have not been able to find even in large metropolitan provincial centers for years, with their hospitality. We will look forward to our next visit.

Bera Konya Hotel

This four-star property was incredibly accommodating during my stay. When I needed to adjust my check-in date due to my daughter's illness, the manager, Abdul Raheem, was understanding and waived the penalty fee. The reception staff, though struggling with English, used Google Translate to assist us throughout our stay, even upgrading us to a suite at no extra cost. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service.
