I recently had the pleasure of staying at Genting Skyworlds Hotel, and I can’t speak highly enough about the level of service and the quality of the stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in and check-out were smooth. However, the highlight of our experience was the exceptional care provided by Mr. Rusman. Late one evening, our helper began experiencing severe gastric issues, and Mr. Rusman immediately went above and beyond to ensure her well-being. Mr Rusman stepped in without hesitation and arranged for an ambulance, which arrived promptly within five minutes. He went above and beyond by personally accompanying my husband and my helper to the clinic, assisting with the registration process, and staying with them until our helper received the necessary medical treatment. Once the doctor cleared her, he also ensured they had transportation back to the hotel.This act of kindness and genuine concern for others made a world of difference in what could have been a stressful situation. It’s rare to encounter such caring and attentive staff, and Mr. Rusman’s efforts truly made our stay memorable. I am incredibly grateful for his support and for the hotel’s overall exceptional service. I highly recommend Genting Skyworlds Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a team that genuinely cares about its guest.

This hotel is ok for 1 night stay and for the convenient purpose of going to the casino. The check in process is super terrible and no clear instruction to people who booked through 3rd party like Trip.com etc that they have to do some registration first before you can even check in, wasted our time queuing at the self check in kiosk, I don't know why such simple notice cannot be place all over the lobby area. We stayed in non-smoking level but still can smell people smoking at nigh, but at least the room cleanness is ok. . Oh ya there have people right at the lobby keep asking if you want to buy the room stay, hotel side mentioned illegal but no action taken. For the amount spent for such hotel room, I don't think is worth the value at all. If you are super gambler then this is good hotel because your routine is just Eat Sleep Gamble Repeat

Delicious foods, great coffee at the 18 Degree Cafe..easy to refill your cafein here..nice & cozy place..comfort pillow and mattress..most of the time, i will stay here due to its surroundings and just walking distance to Kea Farm & Sheep Santuary..no need to rush or deal with the parking queue to park my car..this hotel also have car park at the basement, kids friendly and have games like snooker to fulfill family activities.

If you're looking to explore local eateries, you'd need to rely on delivery or a longer commute by car. Getting a Grab ride was also not as easy as expected—there was often difficulty in finding a ride, especially during peak hours. In conclusion, while Scapes Hotel offers great service and comfortable accommodations, the location and accessibility could be improved. If you're planning to stay here, it's best to be prepared to dine in at the hotel and use a car service for getting around.

It was a pleasant stay here at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan, the check-in & check-out process were smooth, the studio room was large, the beds were comfy & cozy enough, the room was clean and we were satisfied with all the amenities provided. The hotel was located near the beach so you can totally enjoy the beautiful view from the poolside. My son loves the mini waterslide there, the breakfast was okay though we think the hotel can improve the variety of it. Free shared parking with the reaidence building. And you will need to prepare deposit of RM100 in cash/CC with RM3 tax.

Location is excellent as it's very convenient to get food , just need to cross over the bridge. Room is normal and quite old. The sofa was already broken as shown in the photo(they just use a cover to cover it up)Toilet was also not draining well. The lift waiting time between 10-12pm is horrible as you will need to wait at least 20-30mins due to check out time period.

Good place for family , nice breakfast alot of variety. Good location price was reasonable. Alot of restaurants and minimart nearby the hotel. NICE VIEW

Very recommended for family with kids because the hotel so many kids activities so that they are can enjoy the hotel to max. Hotel also offer a shuttle bus to GPO within 1 hour time frame until 11pm. If you drive car here you can validate touch n go card so that you only pay minimal parking rate during your visit. Definitely will repeat again because I love the cozy environment.

Good points - Clean room. Clean bathroom. Bed was comfy. Bedsheets was nice and clean. Bath towels were clean and fluffy. Plenty of lifts. Shower was hot. Breakfast buffet was expected for the price paid. Bad points - Room was small. Had a full length window facing another block of rooms. Unable to open the glass window. Aircon was not cold - woke up a few times feeling hot. Unable to control the aircon. Bath mat was not provided. Carpet in the corridor outside looks like it has not been vacuumed for months. Keycard was a bit difficult to work - had to keep swiping it to open the door.

Very nice customer service and reception in the hotel. At first there was a booking ID confirmation issue when we check in the hotel, but the staff has solved it quickly and effectively. Nice work and highly recommended. Nice morning view from hotel room☺️

This hotel rewards from Forbes as one of best properties in the world since 6 years, im say agree with Forbes' awards. Amazing hotel property, very detailed, almost all properties in my room are amazing, there is a Christmas tree inside my room, free wine, high quality bed sets, modern furniture , wine glasses, cutlery are all high quality, also bathroom properties from the white company. The hotel staff is very helpful, when my son was sick, the hotel staff helped find a doctor, accompanied us to the doctor, appreciated for this. The location is perfect inside the mall, next door to mall and theme park. room cleanliness: perfect. Breakfast : not buffet breakfast. food is not varied, little protein. Absolutely I will back stay there again if I come again 🫶🏻

What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the outstanding team. Their kindness and professionalism truly made my stay memorable. I had an incredible stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist, Fadzlina was so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. She was incredibly helpful, providing useful tips about the area and ensuring all my needs were met. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathtub that made for the perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploring. The view was absolutely breathtaking—an uninterrupted vista of the ocean that I could enjoy all day long. The hotel also offers free access to the beach, which was just a short walk away, perfect for a day of sun and sand. The location is ideal, situated in a central area with easy access to local attractions, yet still offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again.

I just knew AC by Marriot was previously known as Vistana Hotel. Place is very clean, the deco looks very luxurious yet neat & super straightforward. Parking is also convenient. The breakfast options could be better as I believe the variation is not that extensive as compared to other hotels, but its decent enough for me & my wife.

Cleanliness: I would rate the cleanliness a 2 due to the poor maintenance and housekeeping. None of the electrical outlets were functioning properly, and there was a noticeable electrical sound. For those traveling with children, please be extra cautious. During our sightseeing trip from 1 pm to 10 pm, we returned to find the towels we had used earlier that morning, wet and folded on the table instead of being replaced with fresh ones. Additionally, our used cup had not been washed and was left untouched. Location & Amenities: The location was great, and the kids had a fantastic time, especially in the pool area. The pool is spacious, clean, and convenient for parents to relax while their kids enjoy themselves. The surrounding environment is excellent and truly mesmerizing. We were happy to sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves—it was incredibly calming. The seaside area is ideal for large family gatherings or company events, with plenty of space available. Service: I would rate the Front Office Staff at 4, especially Mr. Aftar, Mr. Azlan, and Mr. Rahmat, who were very helpful. However, I had a negative experience with Ms. Y (name withheld), who was unhelpful and lacked empathy. We were planning to shorten our stay from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night due to heavy rainfall, flooding in some areas, and car issues. We asked her at the front desk, after consulting Trip.Com, if we could shorten our stay. Instead of showing understanding, she kept saying she couldn't assist and that the Manager on Duty was unavailable. She directed us to deal with Trip.Com the following day, which we understood. However, when I asked if, in case Trip.Com approved our request, we could check out later (around 1 or 2 pm), she refused. She claimed they couldn’t offer a late check-out as the hotel was fully booked. I was shocked, as I was giving up an extra night and yet wasn’t granted even a late check-out at 12:30 pm, and yet she was mentioned it will be chargeable. To my surprise, I later checked online and saw plenty of rooms available and an empty pool. This was disappointing. Just imagine, i am planning to give away my extra night and when i wasnt able to get a slightly late check out due to fully booked ? what ridiculous is this ? IF, we requested late check out on the actual check out date, i totally understand . But this is another way round and she left me speechless. On a positive note, Mr. Aftar, Mr. Azlan, and Mr. Rahmat were understanding and helpful. Despite not asking for much, their suggestions, empathy, and sincerity made a significant difference in our stay. It was because of them that we decided to continue our stay and cancel our initial plans. A big thank you to them for their kindness and helpfulness, always checking in to see if we needed assistance and offering thoughtful suggestions. Overall Experience: Our overall stay was very good and enjoyable. The kids loved the pool and the sightseeing views. The location is fantastic, with a breathtaking view of the sea, providing a truly relaxing experience. Special thanks also to the IRD staff at the restaurant for kindly helping us store our frozen food.

The price of the room was reasonable given that it was during a Malaysian festive season as well as a long weekend break. Our room (suite) comes with a smaller room with an attached bathroom which is convenient for the four of us. Both rooms are equipped with standard amenities which is a plus point. The location of the hotel was tucked behind the main road so there was minimal noise level from the streets. The check-in and check-out process was hassle-free. In a nutshell, this hotel is well priced for a short stay in Kuantan.

1. Requested for a non-smoking room during check in, we found some stains on the bed. We tried to call housekeeping to change the bed sheet but the phone was not working. Had to get down to the lobby personally to inform the front desk to request for change of bed sheet. Housekeeping came and ”changed” the bed sheet. We inspected the bed sheet and found the exact same stain at the exact same location. 2. The toilet's door cannot be closed. Frustrated with 3 major issues within 15 minutes , we headed to the lobby and demanded to change our room. Got a smoking room as that was their last available room. 3. Telephone line was not working again, toilet roll was not available. 4. We know this hotel do not provide toothbrush & toothpaste so we brought our own. When we return on the 2nd day, all our toiletries were gone. Housekeeping threw our toiletries WITHOUT our consent when they do NOT provide toiletries. Had to go down to the lobby to make another complaint again (remember the phone was not working?). Front desk promised to send toiletries to our room but it NEVER came. 5. During check out on the 3rd day, the housekeeping saw us and offered to compensate us for disposing our toiletries. As much as I appreciate their effort to own their mistake, this compensation (if ever required) should come from the management and not their staffs for not providing sufficient training and making clear the hotel's policy to their staffs. Overall, I am totally upset and will never return.

Staying at Hotel Sentral Kuantan for the first time was a delightful experience overall. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and close to attractions and eateries. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. However, I was a bit disappointed as the room didn’t have a window, which made it feel a little enclosed. Despite this, the private parking facilities and overall service made up for it. It’s still a great choice for anyone visiting Kuantan, whether for business or leisure, offering good value for money.
