Had a short Melaka trip and staycation with my partner, so we chose this hotel because its location is its greatest strength. We had a morning walk to Jonker Street (but remember to bring sunglasses, an umbrella or a hat if you're scared of hot weather). And besides the hotel has Dataran Pahlawan to shop for some items if you forget to bring some amenities. The hotel room is quite big, has 2 TVs in the room but we can’t watch due to the poor image is bad. The pool, gym and sauna are working well. Just the breakfast isn't that delicious, and it's recommended to go early because it is overcrowded when it’s late. Overall all the staffs are really welcoming everyone.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything working perfectly. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options each morning. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful, and I felt relaxed throughout my stay. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Puri Melaka! The hotel environment has a beautiful heritage charm especially the historic room, well-preserved with a touch of modern comfort. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent just a short walk to Jonker Street and many local attractions, perfect for exploring the city on foot. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melaka for a memorable and comfortable experience.

Very nice and clean hotel. However, there were hiccups during check in. Check in time indicated is 3pm. We arrived at 4pm but was told that room not ready. Have to wait for 1 hour to get room allocation. So we brought the kids to the hotel’s playground and went back down to the reception 1 hour later only to be told to wait another 20minutes. After waiting for MORE THAN 20 minutes (with no staff at the reception at all) we went to enquire again. Was informed that we will be served next (after the current guest). So we waited again… in total, we waited about 2 hours just to get room keys. By then, our plans were all ruined due to the wait. We did not have time to explore Malacca Town as we have planned as it was a long weekend and we had to leave early the following day to avoid the traffic jam on the highway. All in all, the hotel is nice but the managing of the check in is terrible! 2 hours wasted just like that… if the reception staff informed us that it will take more than 2 hours to get the keys, perhaps we would not have waited at the hotel and proceed to town first. Hope to see improvement in this aspect

Stayed here for a night in November 25. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Each room comes with a nice bathtub, which is a plus. However, the amenities are quite limited — there’s only a very small pool and a compact gym. The pool is so small that you might not even feel like swimming.
Location wise I think if you have a car, this might not be the main concern. It is about 1.1km walking distance from the Jonker street.
As for the hotel breakfast, there’s definitely room for improvement. The choices are very limited, and the coffee served wasn’t tasty. Breakfast is not buffet-style but à la carte, with options like Big Breakfast, Portuguese-style baked eggs in tomato sauce, curry noodles, nasi lemak, pancakes with fruits, and roti canai. Each table is also served a fruit platter and a bread & pastry basket.
Unfortunately, the breakfast quality was quite disappointing, and I would recommend having breakfast elsewhere instead. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, but in terms of value for money, it’s subjective — personally, I think they could offer more.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and it continues to be a great choice for family trips. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to Jonker Street Night Market, which makes it super convenient for food, shopping, and exploring the area.
The rooms are fairly clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. While not luxurious, everything was in good condition and met our expectations. For the price we paid, it's definitely worth it. We'll be happy to come back again!

Holiday Inn is truly one of the nicer hotels around. The atmosphere and views were fantastic, and the friendly, service-oriented staff are definitely the hotel’s biggest asset. They don’t just handle bookings but also share helpful suggestions to make your stay more meaningful.
I booked the hotel at the very last minute and checked in around 1:45 am. The receptionist who attended to me was very sweet and helpful. She even allowed a late checkout, though I checked out at 11:45 am to head back to Singapore early and avoid the traffic at the causeway. She also recommended great food options and interesting places nearby.
Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

Recommended by Xiaohongshu, I can only say that it is very standard. It looks good at first glance, but it is not very clean. For example, there are water stains on the bathtub and walls in the bathroom, and there are also mold spots on the curtains. There is also a small hole in the ceiling that has not been repaired. It is hard to describe. I was looking forward to it, but the actual experience is very average. It feels like a village opposite, and the scenery is also average. The transportation location is also not very convenient. Overall, I don't recommend it

GGuest UserAmazing indoor and outdoor living experience in this hotel. Love the private balcony facing Melaka River. I can spend my entire afternoon there with good coffee and snacks (coffee machine and snacks provided free in room). Tried their Kaya thost during breakfast. I gave 10/10! At night soak yourself in the bathtub with essential oil provided. Awesome experience! Every single detailing the room can wow you with such a specious and comfortable space. The best part is the hotel car park is just within minutes reach from your hotel room. So, it is so convinient after check out. All tourist attractions and restourant surrounding are within walking distance. Will definitely come back next time.
