Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below: During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car. There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd. The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono. Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Koroda, who assisted us with check-in—best service ever! The room was beautiful, offering a stunning view of the sea, which made our stay even more relaxing. The onsen was clean and comfortable, providing a truly refreshing experience. And don’t miss the breakfast—it’s delicious and definitely worth the money paid. Highly recommended, and I would love to stay here again! Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

Really nice location to go Aquarium. Clean and easy check in process. Plently of parking next to hotel for free for guests. Unfortunately we go during early Jan winter time so the outdoor pool is closed, but the indoor heated pool is reasonable size for kids to play and change room inside to change it. The room is spacious and clean ♡ ♡ our futon bedding kids ♡ ♡ it. When check in they gave us 2 sets of kids toiletries bags (kids slipper, tooth brush, and small face towel) to keep. The sunset view from my room is so beautiful and theres tea/ coffee machine, kettle to use in room. Different type of jap glass cups for toiletries. Bath tub in shower room bonus point. The only down side is I wish the breakfast has more choices(eg. Cooked vege) stayed for 2 nights felt not much difference. For location i recommend to stay here as its near aquarium. Not much restaurants nearby so either finish dinner outside or buy bentos/instant noodles to bring into hotel.

Lives up to the hype! Absolutely amazing! 🏨 Hotel Monterey Ambiance: Elegant, wood-paneled 'old money' aesthetic. The attention to detail is remarkable – even the waiting areas for the restaurant and the smoking room offer sea views. The pool area is flanked by Tiger Beach on one side (which houses an activity club and restaurant on its ground floor) and a charming white chapel on the other. Tiger Beach offers a wide array of water activities, making it easy to keep the kids entertained without ever leaving the hotel. While the QR codes on the promotional posters are for booking activities starting the next day, you can book same-day activities directly at the on-site club. We personally booked our glass-bottom boat tour and jet ski rides this way. The main draw here is that you barely need to leave the resort. The pool is also fantastic for kids, featuring slides and a trampoline. My son bounced on that trampoline for an entire day and still wasn't tired! Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian *in the water* – just watching from the side isn't enough. Otherwise, a staff member will soon approach with a sign asking, 'Otou-san (Dad), where are you?' In July and August, there's a 3-minute fireworks display at Tiger Beach every other day at 8:45 PM. Make sure to head down to the beach, as you won't be able to see it from the balconies of the premium rooms. I foolishly thought I could see it from afar, but when it started, I had to dash to the elevator lobby just to catch a glimpse. The experience from the beach would undoubtedly be much better. 🍽️ Dining: The breakfast spread is incredibly lavish! Remember to scan the QR code to get a queue number in advance. Because breakfast was so impressive, we decided to book the buffet dinner, which unfortunately was a huge disappointment. There wasn't much worth eating, and it frankly paled in comparison to breakfast. Soft drinks are an extra charge, and an hour of alcoholic drinks costs 2800 JPY (all-you-can-drink). One dinner set us back roughly 10,000 JPY, which felt overpriced. However, after a full day of water activities, we were too exhausted to venture out, so we just put up with it. There are numerous restaurants just outside the hotel, but it's advisable to go early or make a reservation beforehand, as walk-ins almost always face a wait.

The room was quite spacious, easily one of the biggest I've stayed in at a Japanese hotel, and the free onsen made for a very comfortable stay. There's a beach nearby with a designated swimming area. While transportation is fairly convenient, it does require a bit of a walk to reach public transport stops. Picking up drinks at the convenience store and enjoying them with friends as we explored the surroundings was a real highlight.

The entrance to the room was stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently a ten-minute drive from the aquarium, with a shuttle service also available. Many nearby dining options were available, and the sea views were lovely. We chose not to have breakfast due to the price 3300 yen. Free parking was plentiful. However, we did find that the air conditioning could be improved, as a setting of 20 degrees was insufficiently cool. Additionally, the pool's operating hours (9 AM to 6 PM) seemed somewhat limited, and the gym could benefit from additional strength training equipment. However, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return.

A major highlight of the hotel is its airport shuttle service. The minibus operates precisely on schedule. However, on my return trip after check-out, I just missed the bus by literally half a minute and had to wait another half an hour for the next one. The driver was very professional and always proactive in helping with luggage when getting on and off. My favorite part was the hotel breakfast; apart from sushi, the selection of seafood, milk, coffee, and delicate pastries were all superb. I also enjoyed the hotel's hot springs (onsen); a daily soak really helped melt away the fatigue. The toiletries provided at the onsen were also of good quality. The bar and the paid swimming pool on the 14th floor offer fantastic beach views, making them excellent spots for sunset watching. The hotel's surroundings are convenient, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and small restaurants nearby. Naminoue Shrine is right next door, and the beach is just a 10-minute walk away. The only downside is the inconvenient transportation. Getting to any attraction requires either taking a taxi or walking over 1.5 km to catch a bus or monorail. Despite the language barrier, using a translation app to communicate with the staff always yielded helpful and satisfactory responses.

We absolutely made the right choice with this beachfront hotel! The location is superb – we had direct ocean views from our room's balcony, and sleeping to the sound of the waves at night was simply wonderful. Our room was spotless and fully equipped with all necessary amenities, ensuring a very comfortable and convenient stay. With the beach right downstairs, we could simply change and walk straight out to enjoy it – no long commutes needed. The staff were also very friendly, making the overall experience incredibly relaxing. It's the perfect choice if you're looking for a relaxing stay without venturing off the island.

The hotel we chose was the Nahana Spa & Wellness Hotel, located right in Naha city, and after spending a few days here, we truly feel it was an incredibly smart decision. First off, the hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just a ten-minute walk from Kenchō-mae (Prefectural Office Station), which was perfect since all our booked day tours and snorkeling trips met there. Kokusai Dori (International Street) is also very close and easily reachable on foot; taking an evening stroll there with the sea breeze was incredibly pleasant. Furthermore, Naminoue Shrine and Naminoue Beach are also very close, about a fifteen-minute walk away. Secondly, the pricing was very reasonable. We're not exactly high-rollers, so finding a place that fit well within our budget was a huge plus. Thirdly, the hotel is remarkably quiet, with excellent soundproofing. The staff were also incredibly friendly. After a few days here, we truly feel we made the perfect choice.

The area was beautiful, and the views from our room were breathtaking.   A highlight was PST Pizza, which was delicious and conveniently located right by the beach. The breakfast was really good and worth it. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again!

JJUpon arrival at the Southwest Grand Hotel, one is immediately struck by the calibre of design sensibilities that grace the establishment. Our room exhibited a masterful fusion of contemporary elegance and practical luxury, with thoughtfully appointed furnishings and refined finishes throughout. The intelligent spatial arrangement maximised both comfort and functionality, whilst the sophisticated colour palette created an atmosphere of understated opulence. The hotel's facilities proved equally impressive, with particular mention deserved for the meticulously maintained swimming pool and comprehensively equipped fitness centre. These amenities demonstrated the property's unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction across all facets of the hospitality experience. Breakfast service warrants special commendation, offering a veritable cornucopia of culinary delights that catered admirably to diverse palates. From impeccably executed Okinawa classics to inspired international offerings, the gastronomic range was nothing short of remarkable. The quality of ingredients was patently evident in each dish, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to sourcing premium produce. The exclusive lounge service elevated our stay to extraordinary heights, providing a sanctuary of refined comfort accompanied by attentive yet discreet service. The curated selection of refreshments and light fare throughout the day ensured guests remained splendidly catered for between mealtimes—a thoughtful touch that exemplifies genuine hospitality. Perhaps most noteworthy was the exceptional staff performance across all departments. Room service was delivered with flawless precision and genuine warmth, whilst the housekeeping team maintained immaculate standards with remarkable efficiency. The front-of-house personnel displayed particular resourcefulness in facilitating car park tickets, navigating potential complexities with ease and ensuring guests experienced no inconvenience whatsoever. The Southwest Grand Hotel stands as a paragon of contemporary hospitality, where exceptional physical attributes are matched by equally impressive service standards. Their collective commitment to guest satisfaction ensures this establishment remains a distinguished choice for the discerning traveller.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is a bit out of the way from the bustling city center, with a taxi from the airport costing around 650 RMB. However, it's relatively close to Cape Manzamo and very convenient for Blue Cave diving, as the departure pier is right next door. The surrounding coastline is predominantly dotted with resort hotels, offering very little in terms of commercial facilities. While there are several restaurant options, prices are generally on the higher side. A simple meal can easily cost 150 RMB per person, and for something nicer, expect to pay 300-400 RMB. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the service is excellent. Its biggest selling points are the swimming pool, private beach, and stunning sunsets. The buffet breakfast offered limited choices. The dinner buffet, priced at 6000 JPY per person, also had limited options, but it did feature a live singer. Coupled with the beautiful sunset views, it's really more about the ambiance and overall experience.

LLiulangjinxingHoshinoya's service was first-rate. I highly recommend the horseback riding, which was a unique experience. The infinity pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of snorkeling spots nearby. The kids had a blast, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was plentiful, and the surroundings were beautiful. The only downside was the Wi-Fi wasn't working, and they couldn't fix it. The hotel immediately offered to change rooms, but I didn't consider it due to my heavy luggage. Even if I did, the cost of cleaning wouldn't be cheap. They suggest better equipment management, and Ctrip did everything they could to accommodate. Thank you so much! This was the only time I wanted to give a negative review, but I changed my mind because of the excellent service at Hoshinoya. I maintain my high rating and recommend it!

AanddyyLarge hotel with spacious rooms, though a bit dated but clean and well maintained. Nice beach and great sea views from the rooms. But there are many limitations, especially for foreign tourists and those without a car. First of all, this place is rather remote, though not very far from Naha city but getting there will take about 2 hours on the Airport Hotel limousine bus , fare is ¥1430 per person, and there are not many services per day, if you miss the bus, you have to walk 30 minutes to Yomitan village to take the public bus, which takes more than 2 hours to Naha, or pay through your nose with taxi which costs more than ¥12,000. Almost none of the staff are able to converse in English effectively, reception staff will need to translate with an I pad and show the translation to customers. Being a large international resort hotel , they are extremely strict with the check in time, our limo bus arrived at about 1.30pm , when we asked to be checked in ,the reception staff said ok, but she told me ”early in 3000”, which I couldn't understand initially, she later showed me on her I pad , which displayed ” early check in fee ¥3000 for 1 hour”, there is no way to get a check in on arrival without paying a fee if you arrive early, even when the rooms are ready- which is unthinkable for anywhere else in the world ! It appeared that all guests arriving early decided to wait in the lobby till 3pm. Guests were not even offered any welcome drink, which was unthinkable for a resort hotel. Each room here cost more than ¥30,000 per night . Many other cons , which are rather unacceptable for foreign tourists- All the TV channels are in Japanese. Rather far away from any eating places , and not many choices. In rooms - the aircond cannot be set lower than 22 degree C , there is no shower cap and spoon provided.

JJessie_1208The room was better than I'd expected. Although the decor was a bit dated, it was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The bed was also large enough, so sleeping with our child didn't feel cramped at all. The weather wasn't great during our stay, which meant the sea wasn't very inviting, and we didn't get to use the children's play facilities on the beach. Both the outdoor and indoor pools had children's slides; they were decent but not huge, offering all the essentials. Before checking out, I informed the front desk that I needed to go to the airport, and they kindly arranged a shuttle bus for me. It took less than an hour and a half to reach the airport, and we didn't even have to walk to an outside bus stop. The shuttle was very prompt. We booked the hotel very last minute, and it was during the peak summer season (even with a typhoon, other hotels were incredibly expensive at that time!). For a price of just over 2000, including breakfast for two adults and one child, I still think it offered good value for money. As for dining, the breakfast spread was enormous; you could find almost anything you'd want. Their buffet dinner also offered excellent value. We tried the Japanese restaurant, and with the 10% discount voucher from the hotel, it was only just over 100 per person. You could even make your own sashimi bowls, and the food tasted great. Finally, there were quite a few things that incurred extra charges, which slightly detracted from the overall holiday feel.

HHailey bbOverall, the hotel is good. However, I think it would be wonderful if the hotel can make some improvement in several things. 1) We knew that the wifi wasn't free, so I prepared some moives for my child. However, I think the hotel disabled the usb function. And free wifi have to be a standard offer nowadays. 2) No one clean the sand at the bottom of the swimming pool, so the water quality isn't good. Luckily, my 3 years child didn't get sick. 3) I stayed in 3 hotels in my trip to Okinawa this time, all the other two hotels offered special Okinawa coffee drip coffee. However, this hotel only provided the normal coffee powder that you could see in economy hotel. 4) This is the only hotel that didn't provide us child toothbrush set. Anyway, the hotel location is fine, we found two supermarkets right after crossing the Sesoko bridge.

11300312****We booked a sea view room, and the enormous, unobstructed ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. We dined at Enro-yaki (note: all hotel restaurants require reservations). We ordered a set menu, and since we don't eat pork, we paid an extra 1980 JPY to upgrade to Wagyu, which was fantastic. We even caught a fantastic fireworks display from the InterContinental across the bay! For breakfast, I recommend going after 9 AM. The breakfast spread is good, offering all the essentials. I particularly loved the freshly baked toast; it might not look pretty, but the taste was surprisingly amazing. Before 9 AM, there's usually a wait for a table, which was a bit annoying. All water activities need to be booked in advance, and I'd recommend trying them out. The infinity pool is also stunning. There's a direct bus from the airport to the hotel, but you need to buy tickets in advance. Similarly, you can purchase bus tickets to the airport from the hotel's front desk, which is very convenient. Taxis in Okinawa are the cheapest in Japan, so don't hesitate to take one. The international version of DiDi is also handy. Special thanks to the helpful and incredibly polite ********* gentleman at the concierge and the ********* lady at the pool bar. I would definitely stay here again.

JJoannenceSingle room was great for 1 person without huge luggage and bed was comfortable. Price was very very reasonable despite being a stone’s throw away from the Omoromachi station. There were many amenities around the hotel which brings great convenience. Hotel does not offer early check in for free and public onsen is small and operates only at certain timings. Parking is very limited and expensive (1100yen per night) and we have to park across the park (3mins walk) every night as hotel parking was full. Inconvenient as it was raining on most nights. Nevertheless, price is definitely worth it.
