I can never say no to hills! It was sister’s birthday and she expressed her desire of heading to the hills. Hence, we packed our bags, booked our ride and headed to the hills. For our abode, we didn’t have a second thought. We had loved the hospitality of Sterling Mussoorie last year. Hence for Nainital, we booked Sterling Holiday Resorts in Nainital. Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Nainital, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Our unforgettable getaway was filled with breathtaking views, delectable food, impeccable hospitality, family time and heartwarming surprises. A beautiful drive led us to the property and upon arrival, from the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, enveloped by warm smiles, we knew we were in for a treat. We were treated to refreshing welcome drinks while the staff efficiently completed the check-in formalities. The corridors which led to our rooms were adorned with pictures that captured the essence of Nainital, further amplifying the excitement for our stay. It was time to check out our heavenly rooms. The Super Premier Room with a Balcony & Valley View was a delight! Stepping inside, we were acquainted with spaciousness and artful design. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the private balcony offering a mesmerizing vista of the valley below. The room itself was a haven of comfort with calming interiors, a plush double bed overlooking the view, TV, cozy seating, ample luggage space, wardrobe, and a spacious bathroom. To add a touch of local charm, there were welcome goodies including special Uttarakhand delicacies waiting for us - a delightful start to our stay. The balcony became our favourite spot, especially during mornings and evenings. As we sipped on our cups of tea, we were enveloped by the beauty of the valley, making it the perfect way to start and end our days. After a long journey, we were famished. In-room dining came to our rescue, and we ordered some delicious grilled sandwiches with tea before heading for dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant Tadka was a visual delight, exuding elegance with a touch of greenery. Plush seating in pastel colours like pink and green created a warm and inviting ambiance. The culinary experience at Sterling Nainital was nothing short of extraordinary. Every bite here was a journey of flavours. Let us take you through the culinary extravaganza we indulged in. Our culinary adventure began with a delightful spread of appetizers. We savoured both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including Vegetable Sweet Corn Soup, Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, and Garden Green Salad. The flavoursome soups were a perfect precursor to the mouthwatering starters. For starters, we tried the irresistible Fish Fry, Paneer Tikka, and Vegetable Kebab. The Vegetable Kebabs were particularly delightful - crispy on the outside and bursting with flavours on the inside. In this small town, this hotel is the highest end, safe, complete facilities, the view of the Ganges River is very beautiful, close to the Ganges Festival in the evening, breakfast is printed, no special, mainly clean! I stayed for two days, breakfast and dinner are here, I have not pulled my stomach, the service is very good, the service staff is super enthusiastic. The speed of wifi is average. The fourth floor I live in is only a little faster than the mobile phone signal. The speed in the lobby is OK, but the overall speed of India is not high.

We had a two days at sterling mussoorie everything is fine from check in to check out the staff is great from reception to restaurant the ambience of the property is very nice only thing is the way from mall road is bit narrow. Rest evrything is fine and enjoyable definitely we will come back 😊

This was the best hotel we've stayed in Rishikesh so far! We are quite regular when it comes to visiting Rishikesh and love the peacefulness the city has to offer. We have stayed in the most premium hotels in Rishikesh and Yog Niketan by Sanskriti by far was one of the best. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. They have ample parking space for 9 vehicles. Even before entering the hotel, the security outside the hotel greeted us very nicely and ensured we deboarded the car comfortably after driving for 5 hours. He ensured we were comfortable and offered to park our car in their parking. A single bellboy took our luggage inside the hotel without even needing any help even though I offered help. The moment you enter the lobby area, you can see Ganga Ji right in front of you. The view is just mesmerizing! The hotel staff at the reception, Ms Shika is a very soft-spoken person and she guided us throughout our stay. They welcomed us with lemon honey ginger water and a necklace! We reached the hotel at 12:30 noon and to our surprise the room was ready. Their check-in time is usually 2 PM, however, we didn't have to wait for any extra minute. That's an excellent experience! The hotel doesn't have any lifts, our room was on the first floor. The bellboy carried the luggage through the stairs. Our room was superb, maybe the best room in the hotel in my opinion in terms of views. Great location, bang on straight we could see Parmarth Niketan from the balcony. The balcony has 2 chairs to sit comfortably and relax. The rooms are very spacious and the washroom is good. There is a broad step for the washroom. There is ample space to keep the luggage. There is a lounge chair and a table in the room as well. The staff had decorated our bed very nicely when we entered. The location of the hotel is such that you can enter the ghat area from the back gate and sit there for hours. The hotel serves high tea in the evening which is an excellent concept! Their restaurant area is in the basement amidst a small garden and the back gate which takes you directly to the ghat. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is extremely responsive. We enjoyed sandwiches, pakoda's, tea, and cookies on the first day. They serve pakoda's, tikki's, chaat's, sandwiches, biscuits, coffee, tea, and a few other things in high tea. For breakfast, they serve poha, idli, sandwiches, cupcakes, flavored yogurt, pancakes, pakoda, oats, paneer bhurji, buns, and all kinds of parathas, masala dosa, plain dosa ***** with sambar and chutneys. Everything that we had in their restaurant was very very tasty. Kudos to the chef and his whole team! On the first night, we had dinner in the hotel itself and ordered pasta and sandwiches which were very tasty and very good quantity. The hotel is so near to both Janki Setu and Ram Jhula that we used to walk on Aastha Path, cross through the Janki Setu, walk around the whole Rishikesh market, and then cross through the Ram Jhula daily to come back to the hot

Before booking, I saw a lot of people saying that the food here was not good, and I was very nervous. When I ate the breakfast buffet, I found it was okay, but there were not many varieties, but the quality was okay. It is the facilities to complain. There is no separate compartment for the toilet and shower. It was understandable that the design was not considered at that time. But what is incomprehensible is, can't we add a shower curtain? After taking a bath, the bathroom was splashed and messed up. If you want to use the toilet or brush your teeth later, sorry, you have to get in.

I recently stayed at Radisson Blu and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The room was far from the standards expected from a reputed brand like this. Cleanliness issues: There were visible stains on the walls, which gave the room a very unkempt and unhygienic appearance. Facilities not functional: The intercom was not working, making it very difficult to reach the staff for assistance. Maintenance problems: There was a blockage in the basin, causing water to accumulate and adding to the inconvenience. Despite raising these concerns, Mr. Ashutosh Pandey, the General Manager of the property, was unable to provide any resolution. The lack of accountability and effective management made the stay even more frustrating. I expected much better from Radisson Blu and will think twice before choosing this hotel again.

the first day as soon as I entered the room I was offered some water which I had seen was not properly sealed. Despite this, I trusted being in such an important structure and drank from the glass. Afterwards I had lunch and after a short walk I retired and put to bed to sleep. During the night I had violent intestinal poisoning that I was unable to manage and unfortunately I soiled some of the bed linen. I didn't immediately notify the reception so as not to disturb given the time. In the morning, still in severe pain, I inform the waiters of what happened and ask them to kindly change all the bed linen. I was obviously embarrassed but it seemed to me that the staff were treating me with tact and respect. At check out and only after paying I realized that the extra change had been added to the bill with a price of almost 2000 rupees. I felt embarrassed and offended almost as if the accident had been intentional. Only after paying (and I made several requests during the stay without ever asking for the costs in advance) does the manager ask us how the stay went. I replied that adding that extra offended and embarrassed me and that I would have written a bad review about it. We weren't even offered a return ride or an apology. Only silence... so be careful if you feel bad because you will certainly be helped but at a very high price.

This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. From the exceptional staff to the delightful high tea overlooking the Kosi River, every aspect of our stay was memorable. The stargazing experience with Astrospots was incredible, and the parathas were absolutely delicious. The beautiful lawns added to the charm of the place. I could go on and on! We were even fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade through IHG. A huge thank you for the wonderful stay, and especially for the kindness shown to my child. We truly appreciate it!

Basically receptionist female was really good. She put full effort to make us make comfortable. Food was good. The only point i like to highlight that room bedding sheets and the sofa cover was not perfectly clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Roi Hotel Dehradun, located directly opposite the Railway station, coming out from Platform 1. The staff's impeccable service, warmth, and attentiveness exceeded expectations. Rooms and common areas were clean, provided comfortable accommodation with modern amenities, and wonderfully delicious cuisine with prompt room service. All staff from security person to reception, housekeeping and those in restaurant were very courteous and helpful. Restaurant personnel provided excellent service during buffet breakfast. Buffet breakfast was very good. Le Roi Hotel Dehradun is situated opposite the Railway Station and steps away from Mussoorie bus stand/Hills bus stand and taxi stand. It has parking facility, free Wi-Fi. Overall a very good hotel, recommended for solo/family travel, particularly if travelling at odd hours by train.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the futur

The room was charming with everything appointed very well. The decor is very elegant. The coffee maker is an added treat. The location is peaceful, serene and very calming. The highlight of the place is the staff too. Mr. Dinesh Sindhwal at the front office helped us a lot with his very informative knowledge about the forest. He took us on a nature trail and also accommodated all our requests . The kitchen staff comprising of Chef’s Ali and Yogi whip up any dish you want. A special mention of Mr Ali is importantly as he specially baked me a gluten free pancake the minute he got to know that I am averse to maida. Mr. Mukesh would always go out of his way to provide us with food and beverage.A big shout out to the housekeeping staff especially Mr. Chandan and Mr.Abhishek for keeping the room spic and span. They also work round the clock ensuring that the surroundings are clean too. Also a big thank you to Mr. Shivank, Mr. Akshat of the front office; another person I would like to mention is Mr. Nalli Sharma who gave me a brief history of the heritage of this property. Thank you Rohit and Shivansh for all your courtesies and proactiveness. Finally, thank you to the Rajmata for being such a wonderful presence. It's a good stay in hotel orange with 3 bedrooms. The staff is very good, the property is a little far away from ram jhoola.

The hotel is centrally located near Parmarth Ashram. The hotel is good enough for a budget traveller. It has got a decen restaurant of its own that offers good quality food. Point to note is that this hotel is located on the other side of the Ganga river where cabs, ricks etc are not allowed and the hotel will tell you this only on the day you are arriving there. If you have luggage, you will have a hard time transporting it to the hotel across the Ram Jhula as you are at the mercy of the porters/bike guys who are the only ones allowed on the bridges (jhulas). If travelling with luggage, try to book a hotel on the opposite side the river.

After an inaugural trip to this wonderful hotel last year, I eagerly returned this September… Such a pleasure to return, this hotel has gone from strength to strength. An ideal spot for solo and group travellers alike, welcoming and comfortable, great spacious rooms, a large garden, a fantastic restaurant serving a wide selection of food, great WiFi connection, all mod cons! So happy to see this hotel thriving, it’s a great asset in Tapovan and an absolute gem! But again it’s the people that really make a place and I give eternal thanks to all the guys who welcomed me so kindly, brilliant characters who work soo hard and are so much fun! I am typically wary of flowery coverage of Hotels that are featured in Travel magazines, as they are more driven and fueled by the special treatments that the authors got, leading them to celebrate the hotel more than it deserves to be. This was one such case! Both Outlook traveller and Travel + Leisure had celebrated this way more than it deserves. But still it had its highlights. I would have given 3 stars, but raising it upto 4 stars only because of the lovely setting, the sweet and hardworking staff, and the quality of Food etc. Frankly speaking, I am not a big fan of the label ‘Hidden gem’. But this boutique beauty - that is stunningly situated on a clifftop against a striking backdrop of hills and terrace fields - certainly deserves that title! You can get treated to panoramic views of the Kumaon Hills leading to the magnificent Himalayas right from your Balcony! Unfortunately, during our stay the weather fairy wasn't on our side. The imposing peaks of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, Trishul were teasingly playing Peekaboo with us all day long - just like Mt Fuji did with us in Japan, or Mt.Rainier used to do in Seattle! Nonetheless, the views were still stunning enough and this was one of the closest encounters with the hills we had been blessed with in the recent past! LOCATION: Stunning location on a Clifftop and just 80 minutes drive from Bhimtal. DINE + DRINK: They dont have a BAR as advertised, and the restaurant could certainly be better decorated or setup. HOwever the food was to die for! THe Chef whipped up some wicked meals for us. The Kumaoni Thali in the night got us high on food. And the breakfast was divine - Piping hot Masala Maggi and Puffed up Pooris under the winter sun accompanied by flavorful Masala Chai!! ROOM: We stayed in 306, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Spectacular views of the Kumaon Hills and Himalayas ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: No A/C as the nature did a great job of setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: OK Justa cosmetics. Bring your own FACILITIES: No Gym on site. And the Pool was closed due to Covid. So DONT BELIEVE THE GLAMOROUS pics you see on these travel magazines and expect a fun time in the Pool. They do have a Spa on site though, though the quality and experience of the staff looked questionable SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to DILIP KUMAR, DINESH, and GAJENDAR at the restaurant. And RAMESH who attended to our special requests. They can surely do better with the FRONT OFFICE staff who certainly needed a lot of training and coaching! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wifi, but VERY POOR CONNECTIVITY and severe issues and be warned that if you plan to do some work stuff or call, it will be a NIGHTMARE! Excellent hospitality. Continued feeling flavors of Taj. Staff highly courteous. Excellent greenery. River side is great experience. Food very tasty. Evening Aarti after after Hi Tea was unique and memorable. Garden stroll by your guide and riverside telescopic views of wild animals & birds was another new concept. Me and my wife enjoyed stay fullest.

My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and the thoughtful touches, like complimentary water and tea maker. The views from my room were stunning, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

My Family & my friends family. Stayed together in last week of January 2023 for three days during our JimCorbett & Nainital Adventure Tour & our stay was fantastic. The cleanliness of rooms were very good. The house keeping & service were also very fine. The food was very much tasty & delicious . This hotel is situated very much nearer to Railway Station, main market & jimCorbett jungle Safari Jeeps Departure destination Point. The hotel rates & food are little bit costlier.
