we stayed there for a night while on the road in france. clean, simple, no frills rooms, free parking, SUPER friendly receptionist staff. we couldn't ask for more, especially at this price😊👍👍👍 will be back there next week again, actually, because we like the non-touristy ”feel” and the friendly people in and around lure (e.g. BAR LE SHOOTER, just 200 metres from the hotel, VERY cool atmosphere on weekends/karaoke thursday!;)) and in the bourgogne-franche-comté region😀. à bientôt au kyriad lure;)!

Excellent value.....first used 25 years ago...I think the rooms now need refreshing...... breakfasts excellent..... automated check-in could do with a bit more explanation during the booking confirmation... but all in all hard to beat for value

Hotel location is very good, the train station is out for5-8 minutes. The facilities are also good, there is a small French garden, swimming pool, and a jacuzzi. The room is considered to be among the French hotels we have stayed in, relatively large, and the facilities are quite new. Breakfast can also be 😃 In short, all are satisfied, very recommended.

apart from the host, all the rest of the team was great, unfortunately I had to do with the host at my arrival, and there I screwed the cancellation of my night because his hosting cooled me well, briefly if you have luck you will avoid this Mr., old enough, but it doesn't excuse me.

Grand Hôtel la Cloche Dijon - MGallery

A McGallery Collection medium-sized property with an unsurpassed de rigeuer location for serious sightseeing and shopping travellers. Lit up in pink at night, it is an impressive historic structure overlooking Darcy Square/Garden conveniently walking distance to the prime tourist spots of old Dijon: the Cathedral, the Ducal Ducal Palace/Musee de Beaux Arts, Place de la Liberation, and feeding spots ranging from the Les Halles Dijon to the Michelin-starred L’Asperule. Diagonally across are the city tramway rails with a fortuitous station stop. Crossing the tram railway takes you to the Rue de la Liberte through the landmark Porte Guillaume (William Gate), which is the main sightseeing and shopping drag of Dijon’s old city center packed with period buildings. Equally fascinating side streets packed with historic structures and sites feed off this main street. The hotel itself has smallish rooms along dark hallways, with views of Darcy Square, its garden or adjacent buildings and furnished in spare modernist style with oversized modernist art copies and see-through bathrooms. Reception staff are charming but unexceptional. You basically take care of yourself here. The Bar is a very popular post-sightseeing relaxation spot with great cocktails and friendly wait staff, with occasional small live jazz entertainment at night.

Very good hotel for a step. Very good welcome, very arranged staff. We were two adults and two children of two years old. We could have communicating rooms and two parapluy beds. Very clean and renovated room. Good litter with real coat. No noise even in the DRC night. I recommend!
