Hotel Pawan Palace Lumbini
3.6/58 Reviews
It is perhaps the only true upscale hotel in Lumbini, not too far from the development area, on the main road to/from the airport. The room was large and the bed comfortable, but the sheets were old and rough.Staff are friendly but they will not assist beyond getting a taxi. The restaurant is large but it is a shame that they do not restock very often. When you order from the menu, many things are not available and some may not have ever been served. I don't mind them not having some of the cocktails but I am referring to simple things like beer or coffee. Also, in the restaurant always ask if food is spicy. Even dishes that are not spicy anywhere else in the world, are served with chilli unless you asked them not to add it. Given the size of the hotel and the facilities it could have, we left with a sense of a lost opportunity for the hotel, and in a way for all of Lumbini.

In such a backcountry place and away from the Buddha Garden, there is such a luxurious hotel, there is a casino at the gate, and hehe should be a place to squander the Indian local tyrants. Large children can be accommodated in an extra bed and must have an extra bed. The hotel itself is very good and it feels weird.

The facilities and rooms were very clean. I would have been happy if I had tissue paper and hand towels. Also, I think it would be kind if there was a guide in the room as well as oral explanations such as how many phone numbers you press to connect to the front desk. I thought it was unkind that I didn't have a leg to go to the hotel and arranged a taxi, but the next day the hotel checked in, even though the taxi turned back before we got on. Taxi -I was charged. The reason was that the hotel has a contract with a taxi company and the full fare will be charged even if you don't ride. I am angry that I was charged a fee even though I couldn't get on the train and that I couldn't tell you the arrangement when arranging a taxi. I wasn't convinced, but I paid half the taxi fare. The facilities and rooms themselves are very clean, so please communicate with the hospitality and trust that more customers will be satisfied with using this hotel. I hope you can improve and let me upload a review.

It's pretty good in Lumbini. To be honest, I live very comfortably. It has nothing to do with not being scored 5 points. It is recommended. The service score was low because a male staff member at the front desk of the hotel, about 30 years old, helped us find a local ”Tutu” car. He started to say 100 rupees, and it cost 1,000 to return to the hotel after using the car. Don't we understand the difference between 100 and 1000? It's ridiculous. Rs 900 is just 50+ RMB. Angrily complained to Ctrip, Ctrip handled it very well, with 100 points. Lament the greatness of the motherland! No matter Nepal or Bhutan, there are good people and people who are not bad people. I once again lament the greatness of the motherland.
