Palazzo Navona Hotel Rome
4.5/580 Reviews
Pantheon
The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, booked triple room, is a large bed, there is a sofa bed, the sofa bed is paved. Mini bar food and refrigerator drinks (Coke, Sprite, Orange Juice, Soda, 2 bottles of mineral water) are free, but they are no longer added after use. The breakfast was great and very rich. There is an open-air bar on the top floor, which is open at night. You can sit down and chat without a drink. The hotel is ideally located for all of Rome’s sights.

Termini Central Station
Stayed 4 nights from 11/17 to 11/21 The facilities were old, but everything was sparkling The surroundings were quiet, and the bed mattress was especially comfortable The hotel staff greeted me with a bright smile every time I met them, so I was comfortable during my stay It's conveniently located for taking bus number 360 It takes about 30-40 minutes to take the bus to Termini Station or the main tourist attractions. That's the only regret.
Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kept our luggage for us. Breakfast was good! Scrambled eggs were superb, good bacon and European cold cuts. Room a little small and AC was a little slow to cool us down due to sun exposure. We were on the first floor a bit exposed, wish we had been higher. Train station, subway station and all services right across the street. A good place to spend a little time as a tourist in Rome.
Hotel Tiber

We have to spend the New Year 2024 at this place (arrived late at Fuimichino and Tiber looked like the best option in the area). I would say that the location was good, with a partial see view and pretty quiet. I also liked the choice of cafes around (small place serving fresh grilled fish and seafood is really the BEST!). Thought the hotel bar is definitely overpriced. The parking is right in front, you can also use the shuttle bus to Rome which is very convenient and fast. The room was spacious. Buuuut the furniture was definitely and visibly worn out. Guys, please, do smth with it. And the general attitude of the stuff was, let's say, cool. They showed no interest in you. I understand that the hotel is mostly used as a stopover by the travellers so the stuff doesn't bother. But for a NY (and in general) more warmth would change a lot.

The location was bad, but most of the staff were nice. There are no restaurants around, so please eat in Rome. I think it's better to go early for breakfast as the menu is more varied.
Hotel Roma Tor Vergata

As part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad. The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good. The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!
Hotel Monte Cenci

Pantheon
I LOVED my stay at Hotel Monte Cenci. I was choosing between 2 hotels and I am sooo glad I went with Monte Cenci! It really made my trip. First of all, the location is perfect. It is tucked away on a quiet side street, walkable distance to some famous sights such as Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc, but also right across the river from hipper neighborhoods like Trastevare. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, it was such a treat to come home to the beautiful room in between sightseeing and to be able to rest comfortably. The AC was perfect, the bedding was perfect, bathroom/ bathtub beautiful. And to top it all off, the staff at the hotel were just amazing. Every request of mine was met easily and happily - and even with more difficult requests, they were able to go above and beyond to help me. In a casual conversation with Paolo, the manager, he gave us his personal recommendation for his favorite Amatriciana, Rome's specialty and even helped us book a table last minute! I also had misplaced a necklace at the hotel and they were really helpful in locating it and updating me after my stay. The staff really showed that they cared about their guests before, during and after the stay and for that I am so grateful. It really felt like a home away from home and I cannot wait to come back to Rome just to stay here again. It really made my trip and I miss it so much! The breakfast on the rooftop was also a nice touch!!! My only complaint is that sound insulation wasn't great, and we had some noisy neighbors that slammed their doors quite hard in the morning. But not the hotel's fault at all.
Hotel Napoleon

Termini Central Station
It was a not very satisfactory trip. We got the wrong room on the first day, changed to a twin room on the second day, and there was a problem with the charge on the last day. The hotel bathroom was very small and I couldn't even turn around when taking a shower. The only thing I was satisfied with was that the air conditioning was cool enough.
The Hive Hotel

Termini Central Station
A fantastic location. In walking distance of the Trevi fountain and the colosseum. Also very close to a nice selection of restaurants and convenience shops. The WiFi was ok. It sometimes very briefly dropped out. The shower was a bit weird as it would cycle through cold, warm, and hot. The A/c was ok. We had it on 19 and it kept the room an ok temperature. In Rome A/C in hotels is often bad so this was probably better than most. The staff were excellent! Often hotel staff in Rome can be a bit sullen and not so helpful but the staff at the Hive were excellent and very helpful. They gave us a late checkout as we needed time before our flight. The restaurant on the roof is gourmet so it is more expensive than other restaurants nearby BUT you get some beautiful food. If you ask at reception they may have a 20% discount voucher for hotel guests.
