The room is antique and has a sense of history. It has been renovated, retaining the retro feel while the equipment is very good. The cleaning staff cleaned quickly and carefully, and cleaned up after breakfast. The breakfast was OK. The environment was very comfortable, and they upgraded us to a room with a good view for free. Although this was a business trip, it was still very convenient, and the beautiful scenery healed us. The front desk staff was very polite and helped us call a taxi so everything went smoothly. There is also a restaurant downstairs, but it was a pity that I didn't try it this time. Very satisfied

A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, the room is comfortable. A great big bed. The room we had was without a window but with our own outlet to the patio where there was a table with chairs and you could smoke. The only glass wall of this patio went out into the hotel hall. We stayed for one night, it didn't embarrass us. We are very glad that we managed to sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows. It was our third hotel in Rome, there is something to compare. Breakfast was better. But the wonderful cook kindly cooked our eggs than saved the situation.
This is a great hotel that has many amenities which include a large breakfast buffet option, a large gymnasium. and a bar on the main level with a pool table.
The shower never ran low on hot water nor pressure and a Lavazz Espresso machine was inside the room with a large TV, safe box, a mini refrigerator,a wardrobe closet, and an excellent blow dryer which delivered uninterrupted high heat.
The staff were kind and upon requests were helpful to include arranging for a private driver to the airport for a competitive cash price.
I look forward to returning again in the future.
The service was good. Cleanliness is also good. The location is great for the proximity to the airport but at the same time not so nice being right on these busy freeway and road. Spring mattresses need to be replaced with quality memory foam as it makes it feel outdated and less comfortable. Could not control the room temperature easily and the window locked on me so I could not reopen it. It’s my second time so obviously the convenience is there. Shuttle bus to and from the airport is fantastic and is a professional service. All in all a good stay.
The location is fine. There's a bus stop right in front that connects to a metro station going straight to Rome’s city center. The place is clean and quiet.
Some staff are friendly and helpful. Others seem like they don’t want to be there. No greeting, no eye contact—just a sense of disinterest. Cleaning staff stared at us like we were in their way. No “hello,” just pressure to leave so they could do their job. It might be a cultural thing, but it felt cold.
You can rent a water kettle for €15, and you’ll get the money back if it’s returned in good condition. But even that feels like a trust issue with guests. For hot water, a deposit system like that seems excessive.
The price matches the service and accommodation. It’s not great, not bad—just okay. Don't expect much more than the basics.

We stayed in this building in mid-November and, besides some small problems with the heating of the room, we can say we were well!

PPerma FortunaWas welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.

GGuest UserFantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!
GGuest UserThough I booked a standard room with a courtyard view, they gave me a room at the backside with no view. Though the hotel is 4 stars but I was surprised that the room has no mini bar or kettle or provided bottle of water.
Breakfast is ok with good varieties. Location is convenient, only 15 minutes by bus to St Peter cathedral.
Overall experience is good for the value of money
GGuest UserOur flight was unexpectedly rescheduled, so we opted to stay an extra night at this out-of-town hotel. They offer a complimentary swimming pool, and the room was quite spacious by European standards, although the bed was a little on the smaller side. Dining options in the vicinity were limited, so we simply ordered Chinese takeout. The hotel provides an airport shuttle bus, which I believe costs around 8 Euros per person. Given our very early departure, the hotel kindly arranged a taxi for us. It was 10 Euros per person to the airport, and the ride only took about ten minutes.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really far from the city center. Every time you want to go to Rome, the Vatican, or even the airport, you have to pay at least €40 for a taxi. You might save money on the hotel rate, but you'll end up paying double for transportation. Public transport is also far from the hotel, and you have to change lines multiple times.
GGuest UserA very ”tired of life” hotel. In fact, this is the only hotel located in close proximity to Fiumicino airport ”Leonardo da Vinci”. For passengers who want to get a good night's sleep before an early flight, this is the only option. Also, airline employees, pilots and flight attendants stay at the hotel. There are a lot of people, but the hotel staff is unhurried - they talk to each other nicely, with smiles, when guests are waiting in line to check in. We could not find free Wi-Fi, even in the hotel lobby. Despite the fact that we paid more than 250 euros per night, they took a deposit of 75 euros from us. It seemed that the hotel was firmly stuck in the past. It urgently needs renovation and good management. The hotel has its advantages, too. The main one is its proximity to the airport (you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes, following the signs, directly from the arrivals area, without even going outside). They also offer a good breakfast with a large selection of food, both hot and cold. The beds and mattresses are comfortable, we managed to get a good night's sleep between two long flights.
GGuest UserClean and sanitary, relatively new facilities, good mattresses, especially the rich breakfast. The front desk staff is very professional and the suggestions are very clear and professional. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient. Overall, it is a very good hotel. I will stay here again next time.
