Viento Alacati

We came for our trip to Alacati weekend. We met a very warm welcome and interest from the moment we entered the hotel door. That our brother Pinar lady and Bilal were very interested. The staff were very successful. The rooms are incredibly naive and comfortable. As for breakfast, I can say a rare hotel breakfast. I say there is a lack of bird milk. Also the hotel's location is so quiet as the center. All was very beautiful, health for everyone's work. Thank you very much.

Stayed with my partner here in a double room for 2 nights. Ours was situated at the back of the hotel facing away from the mosque. There's no getting away from being awoken by the 5am call to prayer in any part of the city centre so that wasn't an issue. The room was very inexpensive, so it was a surprise to find an immaculately clean, large and airy room with a genuine king size bed (not 2 singles pushed together) The shower blasted hot and consistent water. The hotel itself is located within a few minutes walk from the bus station, train station, excellent restaurants and main attractions in town. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Their English language skills are on point, they were extremely friendly and gave us invaluable information for our travels. What an absolute gem of a hotel. Don't even think about looking elsewhere, just book Ephasus Centrum Hotel!

Charming and welcoming ..The room was clean well maintained comfortable and bright and cheerful Good wi.fi connection and Air conditioning . Good shower and hot water.. Housekeeping in the room was excellent. Rooms were cleaned and items changed everyday .. The restaurant manageress and staff made a 100%excellent job of breakfast. Great selection of food and beverages available . Warm Bright cheerful area with relaxing music . Staff were attentive to guests needs in ths restaurant /dining area cheerful polite and friendly .. I found the restaurant/ breakfast area very very good regarding the covid 19 . Food was served by staff wearing gloves and masks . Tables chairs etc were constantly cleaned with anti bacterial liquid Hand sanitation was available . No guests were allowed to self service food or drink . The area was spotless well done to the manageress and staff .The cleanliness in the hotel was 100% in all areas . You will feel safe secure and have a very Enjoyable stay at this hotel . I can guarantee this 100%. The hotel is very central to the Metro bus and Tram for easy access to Izmir attractions . The hotel management and staff really do care about the health happiness and well being of there guests who stay here.. This is a family owned and run Hotel. It makes other chain and corporate hotels look very poor in there treatment and care of there guests ..I can recommend this hotel thoroughly to everyone ...5 * treatment for everyone who stays here 👍

- It did not have some of the features mentioned in ********** - There was no Wi-Fi in the room. - It did not have a laundry. It was said that service could be provided from outside for this, but the place mentioned was not hygienic at all. We witnessed that the laundry was dried in a very primitive and dirty place in the dry center - While it was stated that there was a viscose pillow, the hotel did not have this either. - There is no breakfast. They shared the croissants of another breakfast place on the instagram page. Since we could not see the comments on Google PC, it was misleading for us. And we decided to go based on these photos. I learned about the breakfast after deciding to stay at the hotel on the phone. - There are unpleasant smells in the rooms. - Lots of flies, especially in the hotel room and garden - Far from the sea. - The beaches you can go by car are not clean. - A very disturbing ”holiday”! - Zero customer satisfaction - A tasteful garden - No pool - We could not open the window of our room because flies and giant flying cockroaches could enter. We suffered from lack of air. Because they changed our room to a bigger and smelly one due to the flies coming from the garden and in the room, an upradge fee was charged 🧾 what a joke. Even though one room was occupied for one night during our stay, meaning we only saw one other guest besides us, they made a pricing change by stating that we were preventing other customers from coming by staying there. Yes, I believed we could have a 15-day holiday and came with my luggage and belongings accordingly. The result was disappointing. I hope that it makes sense that we couldn't stay because we had sleepless nights due to the reasons originating from your hotel and that your full refund of the remaining balance will take you one step forward. As a matter of fact, I also think that the hotel should thank us for being able to stay this long in these bad conditions. 3 nights without sleeping and despite this, the hotel is a place we tried to stay because we made an agreement. The explanation that the room we passed through with flies, which had no internet reception and smelled terrible, could not be fully refunded to me because they could not sell it to another customer can be explained as a complete state of my country. I am also deducting the upgrade fee in an empty hotel and I am still thinking about it. Let me also give the fact that the 120 TL additional bed fee written on the internet was told to us as 250 TL to the upgrade. I think that balance will neither sink nor make you rich. I think the service sector is something completely different. As I mentioned, there was only one other guest staying during our stay. I wish you had mentioned the interesting explanation that “this is a boutique hotel, you can stop by while passing by, stay for two nights at most, people usually prefer this” in the explanations before making a reservation when we first talked to your hotel. In other words, we felt quite stupid. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience, a place I cannot recommend. The coffees and colors of the hotel were very nice. I also found it very inappropriate that a large broken cabinet was placed in the room as an antique.

The hotel looks alright overall but there's a highway pretty close to it, so it's a bit noisy. I could hear our neighbours late at night, that didn't make my sleep better. Also the surrounding isn't particularly pleasant and suitable for walking and enjoying. Both elevators were broken when we tried to bring our suitcase down from the 5th floor, we had to carry it on the stairs. But to be fair, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Akanthus Hotel Ephesus
4.8/5103 Reviews
We travel quite a bit and can tell you that Akanthus was one of the best experiences we have ever had, anywhere, in a locally owned and operated boutique-style hotel. The owners (two very kind brothers) and the staff were hospitable and genuinely committed to professional excellence. They have thought of virtually every detail to make their guests have a welcome and comfortable experience. The rooms are nicely decorated and outfitted for modern travelers... and, most importantly, CLEAN. As we were staying for more than a week, we wiped the drawers before putting our things in them... and we found them already completely clean. No negative surprises. Have you ever looked a beautiful green hillside (like in Scotland) and when you get closer you find weeds and thistles? In other words, something that looks good in the photos and then when you get there it is not what you expected. Not this place... Akanthus lives up to expectations. In fact, it _exceeded_ our expectations. Their warm and helpful staff went the ”extra mile” to make sure we had what we needed. As we know, this side of heaven nothing will ever be perfect. That is why I do not write that it was perfect. It was, however, truly professionally excellent. Akanthus is an oasis for all its guests, from check-in to the nightly cake and warm drink, to the daily healthy breakfast and coffee, to the service throughout the day. Their small pool was a welcome place to cool off during hot summer days. We give our highest recommendation to whomever is reading this. Stay here when you go to Ephesus.

Dont be fooled but the past reviews as my wife and I did. First of all the room that they offered was not suitable for a couple, our luggages didnt have enough space, also I we want to go to the bathroom whom it happened to be outside the room, I would have to jump off my husband on the bed. So when we asked for another room, he charged us $60 for the whole 5 days. I am more convince that its a trap to get more money. The bathroom in the new room is soo rusty, the shower head is dirty and awful. My husband had to buy scotch tape to keep the seat cover open because it keeps closing on us. The faucet keeps leaking greenich liquid. On top of that the roudness of the guy at the check in is disgusting and shameful and it continues to the morning hostess to the laudry ladies whom they didnt clean our room on the first day bcs we left our room at 11 am, so they wants us to leave early, how about I plan my trip for there convinience? The next day they kept talking loudly and slap things up just to make us leave. The morning buffet whomnit happen to be the be the same daily deefrost food, we happened to got nothing to do with Izmir's famous breakfast. We couldnt wait to leave that nightmare expirence. I wonder how they got all those certificates from expedia and other sites. I will make sure personaly to let all the travel agencies in Leb that its a trap hotel
