This was a transit hotel I booked on my way back from New Zealand. For a hotel that offers a free airport shuttle, the quality was absolutely sufficient. Although the room was a bit old, it was a great choice for a one-night stopover to freshen up. Plus, this hotel offers a free ride on the Yellow Bus! (Since I don't have many photos of the hotel, I've included some pictures from my trip instead!)
Our last stop in New Zealand was this airport hotel, and it completely exceeded our expectations! Definitely five stars!
✈️ Incredibly convenient location: The hotel is right near Auckland Airport, with a free shuttle service to and from the airport. This was super handy for early morning or late-night flights, completely eliminating any travel stress – it’s an excellent choice for layovers or transitions!
🏨 Super comfortable room: We booked a deluxe room with two queen beds. The space was bright and spacious, the bedding soft and clean, and the room was spotlessly cleaned. The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
🏊♀️ Delightful facilities: The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool! After a day of exploring, a dip in the pool and some sunbathing instantly relieved our travel fatigue – it was so therapeutic! Other facilities were also comprehensive, perfectly meeting all our travel needs.
💁♀️ Attentive service: The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they proactively reminded us about shuttle times and answered our travel questions. Any requests were quickly addressed, showing great attention to detail.
🌿 Wonderful environment: The hotel's overall environment was quiet and comfortable, with clean and tidy public areas and a welcoming atmosphere. It completely lacked the usual hustle and bustle of an airport hotel, making our stay very pleasant.
This hotel played a big part in the perfect conclusion of my friend's and my New Zealand trip! We'll definitely choose it again for future layovers in Auckland. Highly recommend it to all travelers needing an airport stopover!
Super close to the airport with a shuttle every 15 minutes! The room was huge, and the inner courtyard was lovely. Everything you need is in the room. There's a shop nearby and a restaurant in the hotel next door. I loved everything about it!
[”**Version 1 (Short & Sweet):**\nSuper satisfied with our transit stay! The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly soft – I slept wonderfully. The free airport shuttle was so convenient, a real lifesaver for those with connecting flights or catching an early plane. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center; for pure sightseeing, staying downtown would be better. But for a transit stop, this place gets a full recommendation!”,”**Version 2 (Balanced & Honest):**\nThe overall hotel experience was good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after a long flight. The free airport shuttle service was the biggest highlight, saving both hassle and taxi fares. The location is indeed a bit out of the way and far from the city center, so it's not ideal for sightseeing or shopping. However, for a one-night transit stay, it's definitely a top choice and offers great value for money.”,”**Version 3 (Heartfelt Praise):**\nThis hotel is perfectly suited for an airport layover! The room was big enough, and the bedding was soft, making for a great night's sleep. The best part was the free round-trip airport shuttle – such thoughtful service, no need to fuss with taxis. The location is a bit far from the city center, making it less convenient for tourism, but for catching an early flight or a transit stay, it's truly excellent. Highly recommended for fellow frequent flyers!”]
The deluxe room we stayed in this time was fabulous due to the spaciousness. It was also quiet due to the location of the room. Double whammy. It was cleaned to a standard that was very comfortable to stay in. Unfortunately the late night menu wasn’t quite complete as there were only a couple of things available. Overall, kids are pretty happy with the stay.
After getting off the airport shuttle, it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel's location is very central, close to Queen Street, Britomart, and the harbor. There's a supermarket right across the street and a Chemist Warehouse nearby, which is convenient for buying fish oil and souvenirs. However, nights in the CBD can be quite dangerous; even close to midnight, I heard drunk people and homeless individuals arguing. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel is decent, nothing to complain about. The staff were also good; check-out in New Zealand is usually at 10 AM, but the front desk granted a late check-out until 12 PM, so I got to enjoy a nice lie-in after breakfast. As for hygiene, the only thing to mention is that some small details could be improved. When I checked in, there were dirty water stains on the sink, hair on the bath towel, and the air conditioning filter indicated it needed changing.
We booked a room with breakfast and dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, just in time before dinner service ended. The hotel dinner truly blew us away; there was so much food that two adults and two children couldn't even finish it all, and the quality and taste were superb. There was also a great variety of fresh fruit. The next day, we went to a fruit shop and regretted not having packed up the last remaining fruit from the hotel. I've already recommended this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Auckland.

Great stay overall. It has its own designated car parking for each room. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout the stay. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable and welcoming. The atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, almost like staying at home. Smooth from check-in to check-out. Thank you so much host for your help that I went to the wrong location but host assisted me to find the correct location and very responsive to my enquiry even that hour considered late around 8pm. Just to add on there are 2 forest city at Auckland but make sure you search (forrest city) with 2 r in it, as I went wrong to the another forest city 😅 I would definitely recommend this place for both business and leisure travelers. I will come back here again when I visit Auckland, travel from here to city centre just 15 minutes without jam.
Staff great. Warm welcome. Very efficient. Managed late night complaint professionally. Room1809 shower hose burst 2mins into shower. Night staff were great it was late. And I still needed to shower and wash my hair. Bed was comfy rooms well equiped and warm. Lovely view of harbour. Room1209 bed not comfy felt like I was sitting on bedbase. Room smelled off like smoke or vap. Odd lingering Chemical smell. It was too late to bother staff again. Could they have chosen a better room. I wouldnt know? It did feel like a down grade. Room well equiped. Price ok. Would I return not sure. It was handy to Pullmans where I had a conference.
The hotel is new and quite good, I'll definitely stay here again. The location is decent too, but since I drive everywhere, it doesn't really matter. My only minor complaint is that the parking lot is a bit small and gets crowded.

LLingerbaobeiThe room had a beautiful view, and the balcony door could be opened, but you couldn't get out because there wasn't enough room to stand, which was a shame!
The only downside to the room was that if you opened the refrigerator and didn't close it immediately, or if you closed the door too slowly, a speaker on the ceiling would suddenly start making noises in English. Since my English isn't good, I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and it was terrifying! I felt like I was being spied on, and I didn't even know I was changing clothes. Was there any CCTV in the room? It was quite frightening, and I'm afraid to extend my stay.

AAR mustafaI stayed at Auckland Harbour Suites for five days. Overall, the hotel offered a good location and comfortable facilities. However, I experienced an incident that I feel is important to share for the awareness of future guests.
On the third day of my stay, I noticed that my insulated winter pants (thermal trousers) were missing when I wanted to use them. My wife and I searched the entire room thoroughly, including under the bed sheets, but we could not locate the item. We reported the matter to the front desk, and they acknowledged the issue and informed us that they would look into it. I also mentioned that I was not accusing any staff member and that there was a possibility I might have misplaced it.
Despite continuing our search later that night, the item was still not found. The winter pants are quite bulky, padded, and lined with thick beige synthetic fur, making them easy to recognise and unlikely to be overlooked.
When we returned to our room the following day, we found that the winter pants had been placed on the dining table. I took photos as evidence. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed us that the item had been found under the bed sheet. I found this explanation difficult to believe, as the pants are large and easily recognizable. While I chose not to argue further, I strongly suspect that the item had been taken out of the room and later returned.
While I cannot determine exactly what happened and prove this without further evidence such as CCTV footage, I believe this incident serves as a reminder for guests to take extra care and be mindful of their personal belongings during their stay.
I hope the hotel management will take this matter seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests and to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future.
Hhuangbo2008Located opposite the Manukau bus station and train station, the transportation is convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and the kitchen can be used for cooking.

WWestieWillNo air conditioning and no warning there is none. Sweltering hot room. The parking signage is contradictory as staff can have family members park in front to visit city. Sign clearly states under no exception is cars to be left parking in front. That is quite rude. A guest checking out is stopping just to give key card over and check out. A staff members family parks behind and walks down road. Making guest stuck to move out and leave. The sign is law yet staff are allowed to circumvent this and guest was made to wait for over an hour for car user to return from city before travelling to next hotel down country. I witnessed it all and the guest was visiting from overseas with a hired van! When a sign is put up then that is policy! Bending the policy like the staff here is showing disregard for taking care of client unless they are family?
Must inform people of no air conditioning before they book as it is very misleading!!!
Mysteriously the air conditioning works in the entrance where staff are. Just not in almost all the rooms.
Hardly any sleep when room way too hot. Outside on one of their pillars has the sign stating about parking out front.
Yet staff are allowed to let their families park however long they want out the front. Stayed here 3 year before and the spa bath dirty. Key card not work so was treated like I was stupid and staff member find out the key card not work and had to go back down stairs to cut me new one. I had my aunty with me when booking and it included breakfast and parking with which I was denied at hotel and told that was not inclusive in the booking. At least that first time the room had air conditioning...
GGuest UserService was excellent! The free shuttle to and from the airport is so convenient, and it's very helpful for us travellers. The accommodation itself was okay, quite old but necessities are there. Would definitely stay again!
HHZ HZThe hotel's location is highly desirable, offering convenient access to a wide array of dining establishments, particularly the numerous Korean restaurants situated on the upper section of Queens Street, directly across from the property. Despite the presence of multiple tourist groups, the room provided a comfortable and tranquil environment. My stay was significantly enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Oliver at the front desk, whose friendly demeanor and evident passion for his work were particularly noteworthy. I highly recommend seeking his assistance should you require any support during your visit.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel mainly for the airport transfer service, and it was incredibly convenient. The drivers all speak Chinese, so there's no need to worry. After you land, just call the driver, and they'll pick you up within 25 minutes at the airport shuttle stop. A white van with 'easy hotel' clearly marked will arrive shortly. The drive from the airport to the hotel takes about 10 minutes.
The next morning, I had an early flight, and the drop-off service was also super punctual.
The room was quite spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The front desk was always staffed, and getting my deposit back was a smooth process.
