I had a very satisfying stay here, with a rich breakfast and excellent service.
Location: It's near Bergen Central Station, with moderate distances to major transportation and attractions. If you exit the north side gate of the central station, it's right in front of you. The south side of the station is for the airport light rail. It's about a ten-minute walk to the bus terminal, and only fifteen to twenty minutes on foot to the cruise port. All transportation is very convenient.
Cleanliness: You generally don't need to worry about cleanliness in Nordic countries, and the room was very clean. However, please note that room cleaning is on request, and you need to inform the front desk a day in advance. Also, trash needs to be taken to the front desk yourself or you can ask them to clear it. A slight inconvenience.
Environment: The room size was decent, much more comfortable than what you'd find in Japan. However, in October, the room temperature was a bit cold, and it rains a lot in Bergen, so I had to ask staff for an electric heater. (P.S.: The panel in the room is not for air conditioning or heating; it's just a temperature monitor).
Also worth mentioning is the breakfast; it was incredibly abundant, and the variety was good. You could eat different things for two days without repetition. In Norway, this breakfast was the best meal I had every day đ. If you're catching a flight, you can ask the kitchen to prepare a takeaway, but it's limited to one sandwich and one apple.
Service: Very thoughtful and attentive. The front desk is 24/7 and they were very responsive to all requests. Full marks for service!
Other: Downstairs from the hotel is a restaurant and bar, which seemed to be packed every night. Worth trying if you get the chance.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the train station and light rail station for the airport. The breakfast is good.
We came back after away for the 3-day Norway in a Nutshell tour. We left our suitcases in the hotel storage room while we were away and travelled relatively hand-free.

The location is about 500 meters away from the light rail/bus station, but close to the fish market/boarding port.
Cleanliness is OK
Room/bathroom too small
Breakfast service is very good
Staff service is average
Can store luggage
We are willing to let you check in early if there is time available
The location is excellent, just 240 meters from the Avis downtown car rental, making it ideal for anyone planning to pick up a rental car. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the heated bathroom is a fantastic feature! Check-in is self-service with no staff at the front desk. However, I encountered a small issue upon arrival, and I'm incredibly grateful to a tall male hotel staff member for his enthusiastic assistance. The service was truly five-star, and I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Bergen.

It's about 10 minutes from the train station. The location is pretty good. It's in the city center and close to the cable car. There is a flybus at the door of the hotel, which can go directly to the airport. It's very convenient. It costs 169 Norwegian kroner per person. In this way, you don't have to drag your suitcase to the train station. After all, it's all cobblestone roads, which are very troublesome to walk.
Room is quite spacious, love the design. The mosquito net however opens by itself around an hour after closing. The bus stop from Voss to Gudvangen is just in front of the hotel, so itâs very convenient for Norway in a Nutshell travellers.
It is just next to the train station, which allowed me to drop my luggage and be on time for the tour at 2.30pm. Â Generally just a normal family room that is suitable for 1 night stay. Â I love the breakfast spread, quite unexpected to have a wide selection in this little town. Â There is no mini fridge in the room, in case you want to buy dairy products from the supermarket nearby.

I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

The hotel is a former stock exchange with a certain sense of design, but the rooms are rather cramped. The breakfast restaurant is beautiful. If you stay, you must add breakfast. The hotel is located within a 6-minute walk from cable cars, hot chocolate, piers and other attractions. You can park your car at the door of the hotel to unload your luggage and check in, but the parking lot is actually quite far away, 7 minutes by car, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk back to the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very close to my drop off point. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries. Although there was no hot drink facilities in the room there was a free tea/coffee machine in the reception area. I was only there for 1 night so not fully aware of their facilities but there was plenty of hot and cold choice for a free breakfast and also glutten free food on offer and a room to leave your luggage.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location! Adjacent to the colorful fishing houses, the corner sea view room has windows on both sides, and you can see the panoramic view of Bryggen. The hotel itself is a historical building and an early port office. There is no need to set a wake-up alarm, because there are seagulls knocking on the window on time every morning đ. The front desk service attitude is very good, but the actual room cleaning efficiency is a bit low, and it needs to be reminded. The free dinner is an unexpected surprise.

GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.

GGuest UserThe hotel is fantastic!
Staff
Very kind and genuine. Made me feel welcome right away with a big smile and make sure everything is all right.
Amenities
There is access to a full kitchen. The share toilet and shower were always clean.
Rooms
The beds are very comfortable and the duvet makes it feels as you sleep on a cloud.
Location
It is one train station away from Voss Sentrum. The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet.
Decor
I loved all the objects on display in the hallway and the rooms. It looks like a museum!
CafĂŠ
There is a very cozy coffee downstairs to watch tv or warm up by the wood fire. They have cakes, donuts coffee...
I absolutely want to go there again. When I go back to Norway that place is where I want to be!!!

SSCJIt was quite new resorts next to the ski center
Long waiting at check-in due to only reception on the phone for 20min.
Finally get help from the service desk next door.
Excellent Service from Waiter & Waitress inside the Restaurant.
Will want to stay again.
LLanyingyinggetianThe room felt like a basic express hotel, offering only the bare minimum. There's no coffee maker or kettle, and the bed only had two pillows and a duvet â no extras whatsoever. Its main selling point is its extreme proximity to the airport; you can literally see the hotel's sign from inside the terminal building. Another positive is the breakfast, which surprisingly offers hot food starting as early as 5 AM. However, if you're staying here purely to save money and not for the convenience of an early flight, then taking the light rail to the city center every day is definitely not worth the time or effort.
