The Royale Chulan Hotel stay for me very satisfaction it's my second nIght to extend at this hotel. the hotel facilities is great. morning breakfast had variety of dishes, I've extended my third night again its my greatest stay at the hotel ”ROYALE CHULAN”
The hotel offers a beautiful view, but the room facilities, overall atmosphere, and furnishings are outdated and in poor condition. The pricing is on par with a 4–5 star hotel, yet the quality does not reflect this. The property would greatly benefit from renovations. I would only consider returning once improvements are made.
First time staying at this resort. Room is clean & bright. Ample parking space with guards. Breakfast is surprisingly delightful with crispy fried chicken & a reasonable number of choices. Beach is accessible by the back door which is secured by the room access card. Swimming pool isn't available as the hotel is still undergoing upgrading works. All in all, we do have a pleasant stay here.
I stayed at this hotel with my friends, and overall we had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the service throughout our stay was consistently good.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, which made our mornings enjoyable. The price was fair for what the hotel provides, and we appreciated being able to catch the sunset from the property. However, the beach area wasn’t as impressive.
The biggest downside is the location — it’s a bit far from town and no shuttle service provided, which makes it less convenient for guests who don’t drive.
Overall, it’s a clean and comfortable place with great service and facilities, especially if you’re looking to relax by the pool and don’t mind being away from the city center.
Is a very nice , nice landscape ,old but authentic place… comfortable bed n view to sea.. relax n joyful treatment ..only things its full pack during holidays n check in bit delay.. but overall satisfy n enjoyable inside
resort hotel yg sangat best!!breakfast nice also, but for kids 5 years need to add on for RM23,hmm its ok even kids not eat many or cant take breakfast..budak2 kan, bukan nk mkn sgt,tp ok je lah...bilik sgt best luas sejuk, cuma tersalah tgk type of unit..ter booked upper unit, last minutes booked x brp nk tgk sgt..& forgot to ask reception for change type of room, mybe sbb dah letih penat, pikir nk tdo je kan..all of buggy person sgt membantu angkat luggage, mybe dah training dr awal utk bantu guest!!next time repeat other room pulak!!tq GRAND LEXIS!!!nice & best stay!!!
We stayed two nights here and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious. I wish it had slippers. The swimming pool was really nice too. The only downside was we got the room facing the road which I found a bit noisy since I'm sensitive to noise. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
I stayed at the Premium Villa for a night and was impressed by how spacious it was. The villa featured two king-sized beds that could comfortably accommodate 5–8 people. However, the unit showed some signs of aging, with noticeable stains in several areas of the bathroom and a wardrobe lamp that wasn’t functioning.
On the positive side, the breakfast and the view were superb. The buffet offered more than 30 dishes, covering a wide range of Malaysian, Indian, Chinese, and Western cuisines definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
I recently stayed at a 3-bedroom apartment and was genuinely impressed by how spacious and comfortable it was — perfect for families or groups seeking both space and privacy. One of the best parts is its prime location, just a short walking distance to the beach, which made morning strolls and evening sunsets effortlessly enjoyable.
The hotel also offers excellent recreational facilities, including pools with fun water slides that my kids absolutely loved. Another plus point is the abundance of eateries right outside the hotel, offering a wide variety of local and international food options.
However, one area that could be improved is the lighting in the apartment. The lights were quite dim at night, especially in the hall. A single white fluorescent light would make a big difference and enhance the comfort of the space.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay — convenient, family-friendly, and ideally located. I’d definitely return, especially if the lighting issue is addressed.
Informed hotel of the special occasion for our wedding anniversary and husband’s birthday but didn’t make any special. Anyway it’s okay.

AAnonymous UserNo TV remote control was available. I had booked a king-sized bed, but it wasn't provided. Check-in was quite slow, despite the lack of other guests. There was a water leak directly outside my room, and the corridor was slightly flooded when walking through it. The bathroom also had an unpleasant odor; perhaps an air freshener could be placed there. On the positive side, the air conditioner was very effective and kept the room extremely cold. All the room lights worked perfectly, and the fan also functioned well. The mattress and blankets were comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Overall, there's a lot that needs improvement. Specifically, if king-sized beds are not widely available, the hotel should not offer guests the option to choose between a king or twin during booking.

AAnonymous UserA retreat into nature less than 1.5hrs from KL. Start with a serene drive leading to Pantai then turn left to the narrow road deep into the forest where all the villas are located. Kairos Villa is the only one with the paranormal view over the beautiful forest. My 1st feeling is like I am returning home. Beautiful home built with the generous use of local and Brazilan wood, 2 floors of wraparound terrace where we hung out most of the time to relax, detox from the e-world, catch the morning dew and sunset views in crisp air with a gentle flow of breeze. As this was an ex bird nests structure / the ventilation of the whole house is superb.
An accessibility room at the ground floor with shared indoor and outdoor kitchen, outside BBQ area. Here you have access to the organic garden. 1st floor there are 3 rooms with its own en suite bathroom, private balcony. At the landing a common seating area comfortably furnished. 2nd floor is the repeat of the same. The designer looking chairs esp just invite you to sink in to read a book. Seating area is so welcoming - rich wooden floor that is smooth and shiny, wood panel walls with eccentric paintings and photos.
Impressed that the whole house is so clean - I was walking about bare footed and no dirt not even at the balcony. About the only villa that welcome dogs. Local breakfast is served; unlimited tea, coffee and fresh spring water in the kitchen.
Rooms: Our room named Peace is sufficiently furnished with both fan, air conditioning, private balcony facing a green hill, 2 bottles of fresh spring water. The bathroom is basic with toilet and shower.
Food and drinks: Local Malaysian breakfast is provided. Plan to bring your own lunch and dinner. There is a double door fridge, oven, microwave, air fryer, gas stove with all utensils for cooking and dinning. Bonus is the garden has four angle beans, chili paid, pandan leave. The host let us use their extensive sauces and seasonings.

GGuest UserCan this hotel see if I write in Chinese? I probably won't go there again. There is no air-conditioning, no matter how beautiful the environment is, it cannot withstand the lack of air-conditioning. After all, we are not on the top of the mountain but in the mountains. It is really fatal to have no air conditioning.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. I really enjoyed the hotel's pool and the spacious, comfortable lawns; they created such a relaxing environment. I stayed for several consecutive days, and it's exactly the kind of place I like.
