"I stayed 3 nights and would love to have stayed more! I came for the tea and could not be happier with my experience. I learned a ton about how pu’er tea is made and graded and marketed and sold. My hosts were super-nice - they treated me like family. Special thanks to Abu, whose singing is nothing short of angelic. When she sang during my check-in I was amazed but worried that locals were expected to sing for guests. But a highlight of my stay - of my entire trip to China - was listening to her sing when she was working around the guesthouse and thought no one was listening. A quick piece of advice for new guests: get out and explore the local village/market/mountain. There’s so much to see here, and your hosts are proud of their community and culture and will help you appreciate it."

"We drove from the bustling Jinghong to Menghai. The road was dusty and we were a little disappointed, but when we arrived at the place where we stayed, it was still worth it. Because we were the only family staying on the first day, the housekeeper still strongly recommended taking an open-air hot spring bath, which was much more comfortable than the room, but it was too hot. Thank you for letting us use the water. The environment was very good, and we also drank Pu'er tea brewed by the housekeeper and learned some knowledge about tea. It was very quiet and comfortable at night. I slept much better than the previous few days. I replenished my energy and had a great time going to the market the next day. I highly recommend it to Menghai!"

"Unexpected. It must be said that the small flaw 59 building 107 can't get the sun all day. We moved the tables and chairs outside to dry, which is not very friendly to the elderly. But health, hot water, configuration, quite satisfied! Will come again next time"
