Older style but everything is well maintained just like most Japan hotel. Nothing to complaint about, just sleep over for us. But I imagine it’s very convenient as it’s at the JR station, we drove so it makes no difference but nearby parking isn’t as expensive as JR station in more developed city. Food option is plentiful nearby though so that’s great for late night supper.
Hotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended.
The hotel cleanliness is superb although is classis hotel, the hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. Very convenient location and there are many amenities are within walking distance.
A nice hotel conveniently located near the JR station with convenience stores and plenty of eateries nearby. It is also close to a mall where you can find local delicacies, including a food market in the basement. Paid parking is connected to the hotel and the staff can provide discounted parking rates which was a plus. The room was comfortable and clean, and the buffet breakfast was good with a decent selection. We arrived close to last order and they had already started clearing some of the food so it’s best to go early if you want to enjoy your meal at a more relaxed pace.
It's too far to walk from Tokushima Station, but it takes 10 minutes by bus. However, the bus doesn't run until after 9 o'clock, so it's a bit difficult to stay out late at night. I like everything except the location. The room is clean and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. The area is quiet, so it's good for getting some rest.
As nice a hotel as anyone would want to stay in while visiting Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Terrific service, clean facilities and room, an amazing bonus free onsen (hot springs), a very well equipped gym which is a bit rare in Japan and the property is located right in the middle of town next to the central train and bus stations. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood as well as a shopping centre across the road and lot's of small shops nearby. Upon first arriving, the entrance is a little tricky to locate so be sure and follow the instructions that will come with the booking confirmation.
We traveled during the Awa Odori Festival and chose to stay at Anan because it was less crowded. This super hotel also maintained its usual high standards, with many details just right. I recommend it for self-driving tours, as parking is convenient. Special thanks to Mr. and Ms. Sugihara for their excellent service.
It is an unmanned place, but it is a method of calling the staff by the phone placed at the desk and finding the key in the room reserved in the keybox.
The staff only speaks basic English, so you should prepare a measure to communicate in Japanese.
Early check-in and spacious rooms and bathrooms are hard to find in Japan. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong and the hot water comes out well.
It's equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator.
But the mattress on the bed was dead with all the cushions.
If you go to Tokushima, I'll find this place again.
The hotel is located at the seaside hotel on National Road 55. The environment is beautiful, the hotel facilities are very good, the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are very beautiful, the room is Japanese, the place is comfortable, the waiter is friendly, and there is a large bath, you can soak in the bath to eliminate the fatigue of the day. If it is passing by here, it is worth staying at this hotel. Then continue the journey.
There's a long staircase leading to the entrance, with no elevator signs.
Only after checking in did I realize the elevator is located in the parking lot, near the entrance.
All necessary amenities are available.
The power supply requires a unique method: you need to insert a key into a rectangular cylinder to access the power.
Every time I return from an outing, I have to restart the air conditioner and wait for the smell to dissipate.

Amazing
GGuest UserA fantastic house, nickel facilities and high-quality all in an old house restored with great care.
The guest is a rare , gentle , very helpful bead and is able to make you care .
The place is just magic. !!! Thank you for everything .
MMeifeizhuThe room is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. It's right next to the subway station, with a 7-Eleven downstairs and a bus stop. You can easily get to Osaka and Naruto whirlpools from here, which is super convenient.
GGuest UserA practical and unpretentious inn, although it does not have luxurious equipment, but feels the thoughtful care of the inn.
My family and I stayed at the end of February, and less than 1 minute after we arrived by car, the hostel staff ran down from the 2nd floor to help us transport our luggage to the reception on the 2nd floor. Soon the check-in procedures were completed at the front desk, the hostel staff also helped move the luggage while also carefully introduced the rooms and the facilities of the hostel, they understand English, communicate with them without difficulty.
The room is Japanese style with bathroom and other facilities. Since it is located in a mountainous area and the temperature is cold, there is a heater in addition to the air conditioner, so you are not afraid of getting cold.
The dining area is in another hut, where meals are normal, with fresh grilled river fish, tempura and other dishes.
The location is remote but not hard to find, but think twice if you don't have a drive.

GGuest UserA very nice hot spring hotel nestled in the mountains, with Chinese-speaking staff making communication easy. The hotel's hot spring was quite interesting; you had to build a small train-like structure to go up the mountain and soak in it—very tranquil. The scenery was beautiful in spring and summer; I wonder if it's even more enchanting in winter. The cuisine included robatayaki (grilled skewers) and some local specialties. Coincidentally, the young man who served us was diligently learning Chinese and even explained the ingredients and preparation methods of each dish in Mandarin. The hotel also offered a free evening tour, driving everyone to see the vine bridge and waterfall. A very enjoyable trip.
WWinnnnnyleThe Eleven Hotel Awa Ikeda Station Branch is very conveniently located, with JR Awa Ikeda Station and the tourist bus stop just downstairs—you could almost touch it. There's a shopping street downstairs, but it's often closed. There's a tourist information center next to the JR station.
I stayed in a standard twin room with an en suite bathroom. It was spacious and well-equipped, with a large Japanese-style bathtub and a sliding door separating the toilet and shower. It was super clean. Pajamas were provided.
The hotel has only a few staff members, but they were polite and friendly. When I checked in that evening, 15 minutes before closing time, the gentleman patiently assisted me. The continental breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the soup and toast were the most memorable. It was absolutely delicious and not to be missed. There's a locker on the floor, but we didn't seem to use it. If you have a chance, please let me know if you do. Thank you.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff was very friendly and the parking lot was quite spacious with 7-Eleven across the street, so the location was good.
The boat dock where you can see the whirlpools of Naruto Bridge is about 12 to 15 minutes away by car, and in my case, the whirlpools came out once at 9:00 and once at 9:30 the next morning, so
I had to stay as close as possible.
If the whirlpools come out in the afternoon, it doesn't matter, but if you come out early in the morning, this accommodation seems to be the best place to stay considering the time.
