The place itself was good for the price. I had a private room and private bathroom, with a shared shower area just down the hall, at only 12 USD for one night. The self check-in was a bit confusing because there are apparently 3 adjacent or nearby places by the same name and I was in Bakuro 2, which meant the QR code I scanned on the door to check-in did not recognize my booking. I spoke to a staff member inside the bar who clarified this for me and I then was given the correct QR code for check-in. It seems Bakuro 1 and 2 are right next to each other, but their check-in systems are totally separate. To my pleasant surprise, my room was bigger than expected. The floor was cement, so quite cold in the winter, and the window even when closed was not sealed for insulation, so it allowed a lot of cold air inside despite using the warm air setting on the AC unit. The location allowed easy access to Shin-Imamiya station, but it was in a rougher neighborhood by Japanese standards. I saw many homeless people and people who were collapsed on the street either from alcohol or for other reasons in broad daylight the day I arrived, but I had an early flight out of Kansai so wanted to be close to the station and didn't feel unsafe walking outside at 6:00 am the morning of my departure.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, with modern, minimalist rooms that are both comfortable and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping was consistent, and amenities were thoughtfully provided.
One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the unbeatable location. The Kuromon Ichiba Market is literally right across the street—perfect for grabbing fresh sushi, local snacks, or just exploring Osaka’s vibrant food scene. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to several metro stations, making it incredibly easy to get around the city, whether you’re heading to Dotonbori, Umeda, or beyond.

The hotel is in the night district of Osaka and there are many bars and restaurants nearby. It’s very convenient to take the metro and the famous Glico man sign is a short walk away. I only gave three stars to the staff because they wouldn’t give me extra pillows for a comfortable nights rest.

The hotel is about a 5-8 minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. This is the largest room I've ever stayed in. I booked a high-floor twin room with 1.6-meter beds, and it could comfortably sleep four adults. There's also a sofa for relaxing, and all three of our suitcases could be opened without any issues – it's truly rare to find such spaciousness... Plus, the hotel cleans the room daily (many Japanese hotels don't do daily cleaning), which is a huge plus! The large public bath on the 4th floor is also quite good, though it seems to be just hot water and not a hot spring (the hotel didn't claim it was, either). There are even free drinks on the 3rd floor! It's really convenient! There's also a large sports store and a supermarket nearby, and Shin-Osaka Station offers easy access to Kobe and Kyoto. I'll definitely be back!

Good hotel in great location for a good price. Hotel rooms in Japon for this price are small. Our room had no view as the window was blurt.
And the window can’t open. But I think this is common in Japon. But considering the location and the price it was a good value

This is a genuine review, not from a bot or a part-timer.
I was genuinely surprised by the facilities, room size, and overall value for money. Everything was clean and great. All the basic amenities were provided, and the lounge had everything you needed for washing your face, all for free.
Frankly, the only downside is the location. It's in an area that feels a bit like Chinatown, and getting around can be a bit tough. Even two fit men walking at a brisk pace would take about 30 minutes to get to Dotonbori. There's a subway station right in front, so if you're not planning on staying out too late, I recommend using that to get around. Oh, and public transportation is incredibly expensive. And one more crucial thing! Hmm... I heard a rumor that it's a bit of a red-light district at night. I wouldn't have thought so at all, but I did notice some sights as I walked through the city center. You don't need to bring a pig-nose adapter; just a USB-C cable will do.

The room has enough space for an open suitcase. The bathroom is a bit cramped for me; closing the toilet door makes it a little narrow, and I might bump into things while changing clothes. The bathtub requires bending your knees to soak. The toilet is a bidet. The lights can be remotely controlled or manually rotated, with different light sources. The sink faucet can be turned towards either the bathtub or the sink, which is quite convenient. The showerhead and faucet are interchangeable; there's no difference if you don't use them simultaneously, but you'll notice the difference when using both. Breakfast is provided, which is nice!
The restaurant has paid power banks, but I didn't use them. If you don't have a power bank, you can refer to the attached picture.
The room's remote-controlled light wasn't working, but the staff fixed it quickly after I contacted them. There's a refrigerator, hairdryer, and bathrobes provided. There's no washing machine, but the staff can recommend a nearby laundry service that includes detergent! There are also convenience stores and public transportation nearby, which is convenient!

The hotel is located in the business district, just a short walk from the subway station. I did my research beforehand, so I knew that check-in was upstairs. There are plenty of restaurant choices nearby, and some famous local ramen places have a much better ambiance than those in Shinsaibashi. The only drawback is that the room was a bit small, but it was clean and the soundproofing was decent.
Hotel Nikko definitely deserves a great review from me! The overall quality control, service responsiveness, and efficiency are all excellent. For the price, it's incredibly good value for money in Osaka. The hotel itself is very spacious, and it's just a short walk to Daimaru department store. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue with the curtains. I reported it to the front desk, and they promptly sent someone to fix it at the agreed-upon time, which was a nice touch! The only slight drawback was that the lobby baggage attendant wasn't very smiling, but everything else was fantastic!

Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around and find places to eat, with plenty of amenities nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was effective, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with a stable hot water supply, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and promptly addressing any requests. The public areas were clean and bright, with a quiet and elegant atmosphere that made for a relaxing environment. The hotel offers great value for money, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The attention to detail truly stood out. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to friends.

Great
We had a great time in a family room for four. Very clean lots of amenities and so many restaurants!!
The hotel is conveniently located near Sakaisuji Hommachi station, exit 5. There are Family Marts, 7-11, and 100 yen stores (Seria) nearby. The room is equipped with 2 semi double adjustable beds and a large projector screen that allows guests to screen movies in their room (during rainy days). The breakfast provided was great too, love their breads and pastries. Had an enjoyable stay, recommended 👍

Mabilis mag-assist at very approachable.Perfect ang hotel na ito for families, couples, or even solo travelers. Babalik kami ulit for sure!

Great
Perfect location, it is only a min away from the train station and next to USJ. Best part is they have a spa that you absolute want it after a hard day at the amusement park!
Fantastic facilities in this hotel . Breakfast is excellent and room is very comfortable . Location is amazing just 5 minutes walk from metro and train station JR and the other metro in Osaka. The spa area is huge with lots of options of baths, sauna and steam . Check in can be done earlier but rooms are only available after 15:00. The Annex building access alley is a bit narrow and unfortunately i kicked my foot in one of the lamps located on the floor . I wish they didn’t have those stupid decorations on the floor and I am certain that i am not the first one to kick those lamps . My final conclusion is if the rate is similar to other good hotels in Osaka , it is worth paying just a little bit it more to stay in spa world . Weekends rates are absurdly expensive.
