I was a bit worried about the room facilities based on previous reviews, but after checking in, I found everything to be great. The breakfast, however, didn't quite live up to its price point, though it was certainly satisfying.

Guest UserThis was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining.
Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen.
Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold.
There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.

Guest UserThe hotel is clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful. There’s a laundry machine on every floor, which makes it very convenient for guests. The only downside is that no hot bath. The location is excellent — Omicho Market is just steps away. Higashi Chaya Geisha District is within waking distance also.
Overall, this hotel is good staying at. But, I personally feel hotel rate is at higher price due missing hot bath amenities..

The room was spacious and conveniently located right after turning right from the JR station's south exit. The lobby offered complimentary drinks and beverages daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The ambiance was also excellent, perfect for a vacation. My only minor complaint is that they didn't provide face cream or facial cleanser, which I've become accustomed to at Japanese hotels. I almost ran out of the ones I brought myself.

Guest UserAs expected from a well-established hotel! The front desk service was incredibly welcoming. The hotel itself is grand and upscale, with spacious and bright rooms. It truly lives up to its reputation as the tallest building in Hokuriku, offering excellent views from the room. I didn't get to try breakfast, but the hotel boasts 7 restaurants and a sky bar, which says it all. Every service you could think of is available. It's also very close to Kanazawa Station; you can reach the station entirely via an underground passage, so no need to worry about rain or sun! The room amenities are all-inclusive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kanazawa!

Anonymous UserThis hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated.
One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious.
The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable.
That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast.
Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers
who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.

kwakjeongchiExcellent! The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Kanazawa Station.
The room size was perfect for one person. Check-in and the common areas are located on the top floor. The shared facilities and amenities are well-stocked, and there's a lovely outdoor terrace with a decent view.
Even though it's next to the Shinkansen line, the soundproofing is quite good. The Hokuriku Shinkansen doesn't run that frequently in the early mornings or late evenings anyway, and all trains slow down to stop at Kanazawa Station, so it wasn't noisy at all.
The hotel's interior, starting right from the ground floor entrance, is adorned with gold leaf accents, giving it a very distinct Kanazawa feel.

Hokuriku cherry-watching trip, staying alone at Lijin Hot Spring Xiduoba Hotel, the whole process is surrounded by careful and intimate service, every detail makes people feel warm, leaving beautiful and unforgettable memories.
The hotel's service is meticulous and considerate, and the staff and driver are kind and kind throughout the whole process. Whether it is check-in reception and demand assistance, they are patient and thoughtful. They are considerate of the guests everywhere, making people feel at home instantly. In particular, free shuttle service is also provided, so that you don't have to worry about traffic problems, which saves a lot of trouble for the journey, and the caring degree is full.
The room is clean and comfortable, the environment is quiet and elegant, you can hear birds singing, the air is fresh, I can sleep well without even turning on the air conditioner. The desserts in the hall taste sweet, so pleasant surprise 🍓, there is a small gift shop to buy.
The hot springs in the museum are warm and comfortable, and the complete personal soaking is a lot easier. Especially the waterfall hot springs, the water flow is just right, can massage the shoulder and neck parts, relieve the stiffness and fatigue of weekdays.
I sincerely thank all the service staff of Xiduoba Hotel for creating such a comfortable and comfortable accommodation environment with heart. From service to facilities, from meals to experience, everything is impeccable. This trip has become more perfect because this hotel has become more perfect, and I will definitely help you again next time I visit, and I really recommend it to every friend!

This was our first stop on our Ishikawa prefecture road trip. The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from the Shinkansen station, and the overnight parking fee of 1000 yen is very reasonable. There are also plenty of amenities nearby. The room itself was modern and spotless. They even had a capsule coffee machine, and the breakfast offered great value for money.

LUIGITurn left at the bus stop along the east exit of Kanazawa Station, then turn left again at the first intersection and walk 200 meters, and you'll find it. The room was clean and tidy, and check-in was handled by a self-service machine at the front desk. Shopping and dining nearby are very convenient. I would definitely stay here again. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
