BBadwolfThe staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The waterfront location is beautiful, the pub garden looks like it would be a lovely place to relax in warmer months, and parking was conveniently available directly in front of the hotel. The room itself had a nice decor style and the heating worked well, however the bathroom was in really poor repair (staining/damage all over the walls, bubbling around flooring/woodwork from poor ventilation, and the shower door had clearly broken off at some point and was replaced with a shower curtain that didn't keep all the water in?!). The toiletries provided are of good standard for a hotel and smelled lovely. The bed was hard so that's pro or con dependening on your preference - I personally prefer it. The staff in the restaurant and bar downstairs were absolute diamonds, couldn't do more to help us and were attentive/provided quick service despite it being a busy night. We really didn't enjoy the food so can't recommend dinner itself, but their bar is great for a cosy and relaxed drink.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel had a lovely relaxing stay. Food was lovely really nice breakfast too. Staff were very helpful and really nice. Pool area is good not to busy. Not much round about but perfect if you want a quiet relaxing time away. Would definitely recommend. Will go back again.

GGuest UserOur stay was amazing the room was lovely and cosy. The house wine we bought was awful and I missed black pudding at breakfast (normal Scottish fair) would thoroughly recommend staying again.

李李There is a certain distance between the hotel and the restaurant. There is no parking lot outside the hotel. There is a parking lot at the restaurant. There is plenty of parking space. The hotel is still looking for a good location. The food in the restaurant is good. It looks like it is quite good in the local area.

MMcNamaraHotel is very easy to find ,located around 2 minutes from the Ardrossan South beach station . Additionally it is around a 15 minute walk to the Ardrossan Ferry terminal for the Arran boat . It was a very nice touch that the hotel had appropriate Halloween themed lighting upon arrival outside and inside for Halloween weekend . Upon check in the front desk were very welcoming and took the time to explain where everything was and take our order for breakfast . As our ferry was cancelled the next day , the staff at the hotel were very helpful and let us keep our bags in our room as the weather was atrocious and offered to let us stay in the bar/lounge area as long as we needed. Excellent service . Hotel room and all other areas were perfectly clean and in good condition . The room had a kettle and the bar was open until late . The breakfast in the morning was also fantastic . Overall a great stay before going over to Arran and would stay again.
