I arrived at 2 PM and requested a non-smoking room, but despite having specified this in my app booking, I was told to wait 30 minutes. After 40 minutes, the room still wasn't ready, and my patience was wearing thin. I was then reluctantly moved to a different room. Once inside, I discovered it was a connected room and completely lacked soundproofing, allowing me to hear my neighbors clearly from both sides. I considered complaining, but I was too exhausted. On a positive note, the view and the location, particularly with its proximity to CPI, were excellent.

I stayed one night at Cordia Hotel Makassar for a quick transit before continuing my trip to Gorontalo, and it was a very convenient choice. The location is perfect—right at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport—so I didn’t have to worry about traffic or rushing for my next flight. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and efficient, which made the short stay hassle-free. The room was compact but comfortable, with all the essentials for a transit stop: air-conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, and a clean bed. It’s not a large space, but for one night it worked just fine. The bathroom was clean, though a bit basic. The shower had good water pressure, and amenities like towels and toiletries were provided. Overall, the hotel has a practical and modern vibe, designed for travelers who need a simple, clean, and easy place to rest between flights. For a transit stay, Cordia Hotel Makassar is definitely reliable and convenient. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable stopover near the airport.

A very nice stay. The room is big. They are having some renovations so it should only get better. Bed, shower and breakfast and all good. They have quite a variety of dishes during breakfast including some Indonesian savoury cakes. That was nice. There are very few convenience store options close to teh hotel. ISo if you want to get some things, it is better to buy them on the way back to the hotel.

Staff: Very welcoming, polite, and accommodating. Room 5012: Comfortable bed, stunning balcony view, great air-conditioning, smooth WiFi connection. Amenities: There's a meeting room and restaurant just beside the reception counter. Good • Approximately 12mins walking distance to Losari Beach. • Nearby convenient store, Indomaret and Alfamart. • Nearby cafe, Republik Kopi. • Nearby places to eat, Mas Daeng, Sate Gaga, RM Bahari. Bad • The balcony door wasn't locked and unable to lock. • Toilet water at times very little pressure. • The room has a door that links to another room(501). • Toiletries not provided. I don't know how this hotel got a good rating, but something unexpected happened during my stay. It was on a Saturday late night, a group of teenagers were having party in their room(501), they were drinking and smoking in the room, making so much noise and playing loud music, the worst part was they knocked on my room door 2-3 times when I was sleeping. They were not only making noise in their room but also in the corridor, they were screaming and shouting. Probably, the counter/security personnel needs to do a patrol after 12 midnight on each floor, especially on a Saturday night, to ensure minimal noise pollution.

Clean but the bathroom have no soap and they separate toilet bowl and shower with two room. The toilet is good but the bathroom is flooding outside when you shower. Room is good got bottle water and coffee+tea sachet. View is just ok. the location is perfect near from everything you need such as souvenir, local and international restaurant, convenient store and more

A good budget hotel so far in Makassar. Stay here during Ramadhan around 7 days. So many takjil and good resto around. Near to the Mall, can get there by walking. Will be back soon for sure, thanks Khas!🍉

I had a nice stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was generally okay, and I had a pleasant experience. Would consider staying here again.

I think this is the best value-for-money hotel in the area. The breakfast is rich, and it has a gym and a pool. There are also restaurants and a KFC right outside. It's relatively clean and hygienic. The only thing is that the price seems a bit unstable, fluctuating up and down. Overall, it's really good.

Pros- view was good, room was clean and bathroom was also clean. Easy to use and get around with parking and the pool and gym was great. Cons- asked for non smoking room as had a child but not provided and due to this yellowish walls and tabacco smell not suitable for a baby.
