The mattress was horrendous, the carpet very old and stained and didn't feel clean, and the bathroom had some odd holes in the wall but was otherwise clean. It's bang central location wise, had convenient (paying) parking and is cheap. The one plus is the sound barrier doors which pretty much blocked out all noise from the busy road next to it.
The environment is really good, the room is relatively large, the hygiene is good, clean and quiet, the facilities are a bit old, and some things are not complete. Overall it's good, recommended
Central location 2 mins from train station, and joint onto the shopping centre. Hotel was fairly clean, there was a bit of dust build up in the bathroom, and the desk needed a wipe down. Room was very noisy, you could hear every footstep walking past, the whir of the lift shaft. And doors banging all night long. Breakfast was great. You just help yourself to cereal, toast and cooked breakfast items.
Staff were helpful and lovely , food was good , service was excellent, rooms need to be upgraded , stains on the wall , carpet ripped, toilet was very lose , every time you used it you felted like the tank was going to fall , nasty stains in the toliet bowl , tv on the wall was very small , the picture next to it was bigger, bedding and towels were clean

It's my first visit and I'm absolutely amazed of the food and service. The views from my room were stunning, overlooking the Marina and the staff have been really kind and helpful. I will definitely book this hotel for my next trip to Hull. Highly recommend!
Met by friendly and courteous staff at reception. Room was clean, and View was nice from the room. The shower was terrible! Luke warm at the hottest temperature and freezing when you turned the temperature any other way. We ordered food from the qr code for room service because my daughter wasn’t feeling very well, but waited over an hour and it never came. I tried to ring down for about 20 mins but no one answered the phone. I went down to reception and spoke to the lady who was very apologetic and explained that the app never works, if this is the case perhaps the hotel should remove the codes from the room and replace with a traditional room service menu instead! The lady on reception did all she could to rectify the problem and seemed to be used to this happening. Unfortunately because I had to wait so long for room service( was just meant to be a snack) I missed out on using the facilities so can’t really comment but they did look good . Breakfast was fantastic I have to say, well cooked and lots of choice, serve yourself which I enjoyed.
Wonderful experience stay at that castle. We had dinner in the courtyard for a very reasonable price consider the food was of great quality. The health club had great facilities including a reasonable sized gym decent sized pool / jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again as the location was great. The only minor complaint we would have is that the room was a bit cold but it is late January.
Welcome to the most accessible hotel in Goole. With major traffic links like the M62 and the train station on your doorstep, you're in easy reach of York, Hull, Leeds and Doncaster. We're handy for business too, with Drax power station and Goole Port close by. Stretch your horizons with some fascinating days out at the waterways museum and Goole port. Then stretch your legs in some great countryside too, including the Blacktoft Sands RSPB reserve and Howden Dyke. After a day exploring villages like Snaith, or Selby and its historic abbey, come back to a mouth-watering meal at our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and new, modern rooms with extra-comfy kingsize Hypnos beds.
A great hotel. A huge, clean room. However, it was let down a little with only 5 TV channels, no towel rails (so had to hang wet towels on door handles), no hooks anywhere. No mirror near a shelf or table top (which meant I had to plug my curling tongs in and leave them on the floor next to the only mirror). It’s a shame as it could have been brilliant

GGuest UserThe 1 bedroomed apartment I stayed in was lovely, very clean and modern with a small well equipped kitchen including toaster, kettle, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher tea bags and coffee sachets. The bed is really comfortable and the bathroom large and attractive with a lovely walk in shower.
The hotel is in a lovely location, in the old part of Hull, the Marina is about a 10 minute walk.
Points to note,; it's a stones throw from Hull Minster and the bells are loud and ring every 15 minutes 24/7. The windows are not double glazed to prevent sound from the outside, but ear plugs are provided.
There is no reception or staff onsite, so you need to know what room you are staying in and you need a PIN to access the property and your room. Call the hotel direct to arrange this as the trio confirmation does not include room number or PIN.
GGuest UserI was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope.
The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no.
We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude.

SshocarNice enough hotel, please be aware that the contact number you are given for help throughout your stay will not be answered out of office hours.
Smart tv apps won't work due to some internal internet settings.
Oven was dirty and door handle on bathroom hanging off meant couldn't close bathroom door.
Not great from what is meant to be a luxury service
