The lobby looks very glamorous. However, the room and other facilities are definitely out dated!!! The riverside restaurant/cafe is superb in terms of scenery. And interestingly, they don’t serve alcoholic beverages there 🤷♂️

Hi there my one night stay at Ocean Blue was so amazing and quite wonderful. The place is clean located very close to Terminal 3 from where I took my flight to my destination. The room is big enough and very quite. I was so glad to have a very understanding staff and very helpful I do remember omar and Mohamed who were advised me how to go to airport. I am recommend every one reading this review to book and stay for long time and not one night.

We spent one night at the Rivana Residence hotel. The location was confusing at first as it doesn't have big hotel signs. Once we got in we were welcomed by reception. We had a nice apartment which looks like we were one of the new users of the room or even the whole building. Everything was very clean, the room had a kettle and a microwave as well as some cutlery. The room also included a sofa and a big desk. Overall the stay was very nice and if I want somewhere near 5th district this would be definitely one of the first choices to book. Only one improvement I can think of is that there were no teabags or instant coffee packets. This is usually included in most hotels and would've been great to have a cup of tea in the morning

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location of the hotel is close to a main road so traveling from and to the hotel was very convenient. Also getting to the hotel from the airport took no more than 20 minutes. The room looked exactly as advertised in the pictures and everything we needed was available. The staff was also very helpful. We had an issue connecting to the WiFi. We called the reception and within a couple of minutes someone reset the router we could go online. I will definitely stay here again whenever I come back.

I can only say that this is the cleanest hotel I stayed in during all the days I stayed in Egypt. It was not far from the airport the next morning. It took about 18 minutes to drive. It was also convenient to park by car. You can park directly at the door in the villa area. But Cairo is really not suitable for self-driving.

GGuest UserTrue to its reputation as a top-tier hotel, both the service and cleanliness were exceptional. It's perfectly situated and incredibly convenient for a layover at Cairo International Airport. A direct skybridge connects the hotel to Terminal 3, making it just a 5-minute walk.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

Whether indulging in a sumptuous breakfast buffet, savoring a gourmet dinner, or enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city, each dining experience was a culinary delight. The St. Regis Cairo also boasts an array of impressive amenities. The spa and wellness facilities offered a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, with a variety of treatments and therapies to choose from. GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and here’s my honest review: The staff are truly wonderful – very polite, friendly, and always cheerful, which made the experience much more pleasant. I also appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a huge convenience. On top of that, the price is about 50% lower compared to the nearby hotels, making it a very cost-effective choice. On the downside, the hotel is quite old and definitely needs better attention to cleanliness. The rooms, in particular, require full renovation to bring them up to modern standards. Overall, despite these issues, it’s still a great budget-friendly option for anyone looking to stay near the airport.

AAliHamidoúWow wow wow, it look exactly like the photos but even better. Splendid and scrumptiously clean hotel. All the amenities needed. If you’re reading this review just book it and thank me later. I pay €2000-3000 a night in Europe for something of similar quality.

CcalilopezzThis hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport and is definitely one of the best mid-Price options in the area for a long layover or short stay. The location is NOT great if you want to see the pyramids or museums but great for being near the airport. The pool area is quite nice with a bar next to it and spaces to sunbathe. The restaurants are decent quality and the flavors are a 7/10. We got the Cesar salad, mixed grill plate, and shrimp soup! The shrimp soup was awesome and everything else was just OK! The wifi wasn’t strong unfortunately but if you sign up for the ALL benefits you can get faster wifi for free too. There is a convenience store and souvenir shops in case you forgot a gift for someone too.

GGuest UserLovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

NnrlfallsThis is the third time I stayed at this hotel during this trip. Here are three tips: First, I changed rooms three times. The orientation and air conditioning facilities they gave me at the beginning were not satisfactory. If the air conditioning does not heat, contact them. If they can adjust it, don't be afraid of trouble; second, the third floor is where the lobby is located. The room height is nearly one meter higher than other floors. Although the sixth floor is an executive floor, it is not high; third, the executive lounge is very practical and can be used as dinner. It can be included. In addition, the swimming pool is heated and you can swim. There is a kettle in the room and bottled water is unlimited.

DDiegot3nnisI’ll be honest, I had higher expectations for this hotel. The service was great, people really wanted to help you. It’s great to see great service when you stay in a hotel…but I gotta say something, it was very dirty the first room they gave us. Towels had marks, bathroom was dirty, the shower glass was uneven so water will filter underneath, the coffee table wasn’t clean at all. It had coffee marks…anyway, we complained to reception and they changed the room for us. That was better. Also, the breakfast is too expensive I believe. 16 dollars each person, here in this app it says 13 dollars.

AAnonymous UserI cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them again😄 Thank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else! One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd Patisserie. Celeste :)
