The sea view room faces the sea and the vision is very good. The surrounding environment is also good, the problem is that the hotel is a bit old, it seems that it has been missing for a long time. The accommodation has an excellent location, the room is very comfortable and the cleanliness does not disappoint. I loved receiving tips and advice from the owners because they know the area and the options for tours and places to visit inside out. If I returned to Natales, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I believe that the hotel is excellent, that's why I booked. But I didn't stay because I fall down in tores del paine and broke my wrist. I can't call hotel in my pain and no signal as well. So I hope the management would make a refund on my booking..at least 50% I would appreciate because I have to book another hotel near Punta Arenas hospital. Great hotel. Beautiful restaurant and lobby area. We ate dinner which was very good. Breakfast was also good. No complaints. Staff great esp Joaquin at the front desk who helped me get tickets online for TDP Park entry. Coming back in a week and staying again. FYI the parking is out front on street. We found a spot but looks there us lots of free street parking elsewhere.

We had an excellent week long stay at The Veat! It is a family owned hotel that feels exactly like that when you are there. The owners Fernanda and Nicolas were very friendly and always accommodating to our needs. I even got to ride Nicolas' bike! My wife is a vegetarian and staying here made it so much easier. Breakfast and lunch were great but what stood out the most was the service. The staff composed of Alejandra, Martina and Javiera were always extra attentive and helpful! They even brought food to our room when we needed. Alejandra was incredibly patient and never got tired of my never ending questions and gave us amazing recommendations. Excellent location, good food and overall a great place to stay in Puerto Natales!

The service was great and professional. We stayed only for 2 nights to go on the boat tour to the antarctic. I'm really happy towards the end where we checked out but we were allowed to keep our luggages at the hotel while we explored the city for the last time. The young staff, didn't catch his name, was very helpful and assisted us with ordering a 🚕. Only downside would be the carpet in the room didn't look very clean, but aside from that it was great.

Punta Arenas is a touristy town. This hotel is centrally located with walking distance to most local areas and eateries. That makes it a popular choice for stay. However the hotel itself gives you small rooms, noisy due to its location and poorly designed. There’s no proper bathroom in many rooms. Shower with transparent glass door makes it interesting! No thermostat. Most rooms without tv, and no amenities like lotion. There’s no furniture to empty your suitcase. The housekeeping staff does not like to give you even two pods of coffee and was downright rude when asked, until I paid another one two bucks for the same!The room itself is about 175 sq feet. Unless you’re ok with such an accommodation, find a better and more suitable place to stay.

We stayed here the night before we took the bus to Torres del Paine, and the night we returned from the multi-day hike, prior to our flight back to Santiago. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with small hostel-style rooms with limited accessories, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need to rest up before and after your hike. The rooms do not have a TV, but who needs to watch TV when they could be out exploring the town? The hotel will gladly store your luggage while you hike, just keep in mind that this is stored in an open area, consider bringing a chain lock for all your bags if that concerns you - we did not have any concerns that anyone would take our bags. The hotel serves a hearty breakfast, including eggs and sausages. It is a short 2-block walk to the bars and restaurants of Puerto Natales. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the main proprietor speaks excellent English. I have rarely experienced such excellent service or kind generosity at finer hotels in the US or Europe. We will recommend Hotel Big Sur to all our friends who travel to Patagonia, truly an excellent experience.

Popular hotel in town, full services, great breakfast and services, roof top bar, comfortable bed and pillows, no elevator but they help. In the heart of small town, they have tour from their website to book, can provide taxi service if need. Room is small, not easy to open a big luggage, shower is cute small, shampoo conditioner, body wash and hand wash in good quality, good value.

I made the reservation for our Junior Suite room back in July 2024 and booked directly on the hotel's website, expecting to at least get what I paid for. I don't even know where to start. Cons: All the negative reviews by other travelers are accurate. There is loud drilling and banging noise all day, from the construction they are doing. Room mix up - At check in, we were told since it was only 1 pm we would have to return in an hour as the room was not ready. Fair enough. When we returned, the reception gals said we could pick between two rooms on the 4th floor and gave us keys to check out the rooms. After checking out both rooms, we told them our decision. At that time they asked for our names again, and said that they had made a mistake! Our room was actually on the 2nd floor, and at the end of the narrow hall. The view from our room was obstructed and the noise from the construction was right next to our room. I requested a change in room but was told that they were all sold out. No kettle in the room for coffee (first hotel in all our travels in Chile to not provide that) Paint splatter on the floor in our room No water bottles. We asked and were given one refillable glass bottle. No safe deposit box in the room No tissues Only one hand towel provided in the bathroom. I asked for another one and hot the one in the picture - dirty brown spots. No bath mat. Mirror in the bathroom on the side of the wall making in totally useless, but a window in front of the sink overlooking the beds! Lots of truck, vehicular noise at night from road in front. No glasses/tumblers in the bathroom No body lotion Room cleaning- one day our room wasn't cleaned when we got back from our tour at 5pm. Front desk told us their maid had a picture from 6:30 am with a Do Not Disturb sign on our door. Sure we had it - from 6:30 -7 am. We took it off at 7 when we got back from breakfast. So they only checked once at 6:30 am and that's it. On our request, however, they did someone to clean our room that evening. Restaurant server charged for water bottle which we had with brought down with us from our room. They were charging by looking at us rather than on what they served us. Then ask us if want to add a tip! Which we did - ridiculous! The front desk staff never, ever greeted us when we walked into the hotel or walked past them in the morning. I had to use Google translate with them almost all the time. Their English was very limited. The only staff that gave us any attention was the gentleman server in the restaurant. He was great! Laundry order- got our room number wrong even though we had written it on our order form. They said they sent the laundry to another room and it got rejected, so they were waiting for us to call! Pro Great location and views. Easy walk to restaurants and main shopping. The hotel seems to be capitalizing on their view. Nothing more to offer. No hospitality or personal attention.

When I arrived I was a little concerned since I just left the Sheraton in Santiago and this was a small quaint cute property but the room looked more like a hostel, there was no fridge, microwave or blow-dryer. Generally, I assumed that single room would imply that I'd have a king bed but it was just a twin. Ok, the positives: super nice staff, I asked if they could store my food since I didn't have a fridge and they were happy to accommodate. The breakfast was included but limited hours 7-9am however they offer to pack a lunch if you have an early exit and I utilized that on most days that was very nice. The staff was super friendly which made up for the bed situation, they were glad to be of service when I asked for directions and recommendations. The property is very well located to all attractions. The wifi was great. There was always someone cleaning and they all look happy to be working which is pleasant to see. Knowing all this if you're ok with a subpar room I would support this business, if you need something a little nicer there is dreams by the water.

Spent two nights here and you definitely need to bring/buy bottled water. Out of tap didn't work even with a Brita filter. The hotel's restaurant serves a basic breakfast with limited options. They will fix eggs to order. A late lunch one day was excellent with a generous portion of salmon. It was quiet at night, but also unsure how busy it was during our stay. Small tavern down by the lobby was swinging at night. Imagine with exception of the one large hotel down by the port, most hotels in town are likely similar. Let's be real . . . it's practically the bottom of the world! Slept fine, that's the main thing.

Since my arrival everything went wrong, because they had not available the individual room I had booked and paid in advance enough and for the first night they gave me a double room, The one that found to have 2 beds of ananas if it is that from 1/2 place each and that I saw forced to accept not only because I had already paid it, but because at 5 a.m. they would pick me up from that hotel for the Paine Towers excursion and I couldn't change it anymore.... I returned from the late night excursion and I found a new room even worse, because in the bathroom neither washing handles nor shower worked, from where only a water screw came out and they have no staff to fix anything, so they didn't give me any solution... after having forcefully passed a second night of terror, at first hour ”I changed from hotel”!!! In summary this hotel reminded me of those who appeared in the cable program ”Hotel Without Stars”, Because it is very badly maintained (particularly bathrooms), floor tables crush each step, walls look paper and listen until someone sworns in another room, heating cannot be regulated or shut off in each room and the The hotel is very comfortable and it is very comfortable. There is no doubt a hotel for nothing recommendable, from which I literally ”got off”!!!!!!!!

This place deserves 10 stars out of 5, its perfectly located, very close to the bus terminal, super market across the street, the host is super friendly, really lovely decorated place, PERFECT BEDS AND SHOWERS, good breakfast, luggage storage when you check out later, walking distance to everything, I don't think you can find a better place to stay in Punta Arenas. Probably one of the best places I stayed in Patagonia!

This was our first stop after a long day of travel. Jose was very accommodating. While his English was limited we were able to successfully communicate using Google translate. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The map on the wall was super helpful to orient us for our adventure to follow.
