This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel this year; I'd always stayed at other hotels, and it was quite good.

I booked this hotel when I was traveling with my family. This hotel is considered very good in Linzhi. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are many ******* lifestyle experience programs. The hotel's butler, Mr. Cicheng, waited for us until 12 o'clock on the first night. First, I want to praise the guy at the cafeteria entrance (I don't know his name), but he enthusiastically introduced us to Tashilhunpo Monastery and even took us to the rooftop to see the temple. Thank you! Secondly, I have to criticize the hotel's room facilities. The air conditioning was broken. It was always 34 degrees Celsius, and I almost fainted in the middle of the night. The oxygen supply only worked until 3 a.m. I called the waiter in the middle of the night to send a fan, but it was still stuffy. Then they told me they would charge for the oxygen machine, even though it wasn't needed when I ordered it online. Even though it was delivered, I still felt uncomfortable. My room cost around 1,000, which was too expensive and not worth it! Also, the breakfast was terrible and the quality was just average! I hope it will be improved! The hotel has a strong ******* style and I love it. I hope the service and quality will improve!

Looking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.

Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. I will stay here next time I travel to Shannan.

Because of the time relationship, I didn't live for one more day. Unfortunately, I will go to Ali next year and will definitely come back to your home. Or there will be Hilton in the future, and I will give priority to it.

The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!
