Just as pictured! Nicely located and I feel the price was reasonable for where in town it is. They kindly held our bags when we got there before check in and again after check out the following day. They offer water/coffee/tea for free in the lobby.
It is a few stops away from the train station. But it is still quite convenient. It is just across the road to get to the hotel. There are many fast food restaurants around and an Aldi supermarket is not far from there. The included breakfast are delicious and have a reasonable choice of the food and drinks. Room is clean and has all the facilities expected. No fridge though. It’s good money to value. Will recommend for a quality room with good service within a reasonable price range.
The scenery around the hotel is very good, and the bus is very convenient. The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also good, but the parking is a little tight, and the catering staff are average and cold
Host are all friendly, room amenities are at minimal, you need to go down to lobby if you want to get a cup
of coffee. Kettle available upon request
plus point is breakfast is included.
The 200-year-old shop is very clean and tidy. The rustic Swiss Country Hotel, the lake view changes in the morning, very beautiful. It is also very convenient to go to St. Regis Mountain. 15 minutes walk from the cable car station. The boss is very elegant, old-fashioned German.
Not only did this hotel room lack air conditioning, but it also surprisingly didn't have a mini-fridge. After checking the hotel's description, it seems not all rooms are without fridges. I'd recommend everyone confirm this upon check-in to avoid being caught off guard like I was, after buying a bunch of groceries from the supermarket. Fortunately, the front desk said I could store my items in their fridge, but it felt awkward and inconvenient to have to go downstairs and bother them every single time I wanted something. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the scenery in Lucerne is beautiful.
Location was good. The room were surprisingly huge. What I love the most was the window view that shows the road cross junction. Overall I had a great stay there. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really awesome. I deducted a star for the cleanliness, as in the toilet bin there was a sanitary bag with a pantis in it. It was really not a good experience to see this in such a nice hotel.
This Hotel seriously surprised us for a Boutique Hotel. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a very high quality service and great explanation of the hotel and the city. We were also given city WiFi and public transportation pass courtesy of the Hotel which came in really handy during our stay! The breakfast buffet was very good also. I will defiantly come to this hotel again!
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Lucerne train station. The interior environment is clean, bright and tidy, and there are many guests, which proves that the hotel has a good reputation. As a tourist, I am generally satisfied with my stay!
This is a very nice and clean hotel. The best 4 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Has Refurbished rooms. There is plenty of well trained staff to serve you. Centrally located and only 1/2 block to the main train station. It’s easy to bring your luggage to the station so you can go to your next city. The train station also has many food vendors and a couple of markets to buy sandwiches and salads and baked goods.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is good, staff are nice, and the size of family room is great. But the bath tub was getting a bit suck.
In addition, as my stay us during heatwave, there is AC but the temperature cannot be controlled very smoothly, thus a bit hot during the sleep.
ZZuoyeyoumengVery good, good location, but the hotel is old, which is definitely a common problem of European hotels. There is no way around it. But this price is very good in Switzerland. I highly recommend everyone to stay here during the peak season
PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.
TtasyThe check-in process was really difficult. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM. The self check-in machine couldn’t find our booking. We called for help and talked on the phone for a long time, but still couldn’t check in. Luckily (and unluckily), some other guests arrived and had the same problem. Because there were more of us, finally a male staff member agreed to come and check the machine.
This staff member kept saying it was our fault – that we entered our name wrong, or that we mixed up the first name and last name. He insisted the machine had worked fine for six months and couldn’t be broken. We tried different combinations of our names many times, but nothing worked. He tried too – and when it still didn’t work, he finally admitted the machine was the problem. Around 11:30 PM, we finally entered the rooms.
The next day, after we explained everything, the very friendly and polite ladies at the front desk kindly gave us a 10% discount. Most things about the hotel were great, and the front desk ladies were super helpful. We fully understand that technical problems happen sometimes, and waiting 2.5 hours to check in was also okay for us. We doNOT blame anyone or anything for that. But what we couldn’t understand was how the staff member insisted it was our fault and how he did NOT believe anything we said, and his attitude was a bit rude when we tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault.

HH JainThe room shown in pictures didn’t match what was offered on site. Very misleading. Took an hour of to and fro to be allocated a different room. The travel voucher never arrived by email, spent $$ on travel first day (shouldn’t have to) and got a travel voucher later after escalating to customer service. Breakfast was fine.
It’s a nice property but a few niggles as above. Must show correct pictures for rooms on advert.
JJiayouThis is likely the best value accommodation in Lucerne, given its good facilities. It's conveniently located near the train station. They provide both a water dispenser and hot water. The pods themselves were surprisingly quiet and very clean.

AAnonymous UserExcellent location, with easy access to transport and a supermarket right next door.
The rooms were a bit on the small side.
The breakfast spread was plentiful and varied – highly recommended!
Service quality could be inconsistent; some staff members were very friendly and helpful.
The family rooms offer better value for money compared to the double rooms.
GGuest UserI booked a deluxe suite with an open kitchen including electrical stove, small refrigerator, dishwasher which were the reason I booked it. We cooked every dinner during our 5 nights stay. The living is very spacious in comparison to the suite I booked in Zermatt and Grindelwald. My suite is in top floor had a decent bedroom, living roon, kitchen and bathroom. The is new renovated and in modern plus simple design. I loved it and highly recommend to the family want to cook. The breakfast was good but not many choices and changes. This hotel doesn't have any pool or gym. However, it just 2 minutes walking from Luzern train station and bus stops. Coops and shopping malls are nearby. Everything is convenient there. City walk to the landmarks and pier for Luzern lake cruise are all walking distance. The only downside is the noise from the roof top's bar during midnight. But I didn't complain as I were too tired after a long day outing.
