[Handa] A town of storehouses along the Handa Canal

I took a walk around the "Handa Canal Storehouse Town" in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, where you can enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere. Black-walled storehouses line the canal, and the retro townscape that dates back to the Edo and Meiji periods remains. The brewing industry of sake, vinegar, and other products has been thriving here since ancient times, and they were transported all over the country via the Handa Canal.
