The hotel is located in a remote area. One of the two pools was out of order, which we weren't told about when we booked. And the worst thing was the cockroaches in the room. I only managed to photograph one, but there were many more. The room was on the floor below the lounge. That's a five-star rating.

The room was very clean and the service was great! The breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended! We 8 people stayed in 4 rooms to travel to Halong Bay, about 15 minutes walk from Halong Bay, and stayed for 2 nights! It was the most cost-effective one in this 8-day tour!

Wonderful 2 nights stay at the DelaSea hotel. What I enjoyed most was the staff as they were all so caring and helpful. Highly professional. From the reception with Hoa taking special care of me not to mention ”Alice” and the others. Same at the restaurant. From the manager to the supervisors to the staff. I can't name them all here but they made my stay very special. Food was really good. Staff attention was ”phenomenal”. The room was great (I got one on the top floors facing the bay) and despite being a very noise sensitive person I slept very well. No loud music noise (it was on a weekend early November). The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was not noisy though very efficient. Good shower. I did not use the swimming pool but it looked great. By the way I was told that taking photos from the bay at sunset from the swimming pool is ”the thing to do” :) I can only praise the staff and the management for the wonderful hospitality even when super busy with big groups (which was the case during my stay). Based on my personal experience I definitely highly recommend the DelaSea hotel and it will be my choice next time I am in Ha Long.

We had a marvellous stay. The reception is so efficient and helpful. Jenny and Joycee l are like families who helped us for transport and messages. The hotel also sent a cake to celebrate my birthday. The swimming pool, and bar on the 25th floor are good and the boys at the door are very prompt and hard working. The room services are priced reasonably and the hotel has a very good spa where you can find the best massage lady.

This hotel boasts a convenient location and spacious rooms, although the bathrooms could be cleaner. The toilets lack hand sprayers or bidets, requiring the use of toilet paper. The air conditioning in the rooms is somewhat outdated and not very effective at cooling. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, most of which are satisfactory; however, I would prefer fewer dishes with a higher quality, similar to the breakfast at the Fansipan View Hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel as three stars. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Please be aware that a nearby beach club plays loud music until 11:00 AM, which may disturb light sleepers.

it is a little dated hotel with spacious room. location is 10mins walk from Sunworld Service is good overall, from front desk to waitress , conceige helper and room service staff. Hard ware need great improvement anc maintainence is urgently needed. e.g. swimming pool is not very clean, with broken tiles; phone is not working in room to make local calls, no chair or table in the balcony, no clothing hanger in the balcony, no chairs and no towels for sunbathing around swimming pool on the 5th floor.

The room is very clean and you can see the sea. The newly renovated one is different. The service attitude is also very good. The cable car was booked by the hotel for us, which is very convenient. Luggage can be stored for free. It is also convenient to go out and play. You can walk to the cable car.

The hotel is relatively new, the staff mentioned it had only opened about two months ago. The team is well-trained and service-oriented, which made a positive impression. Upon arrival, my family and I were welcomed with a complimentary drink, which was much appreciated after a nearly four-hour journey from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. It was a warm and thoughtful gesture that set the tone for a good customer experience. Our stay was pleasant overall. The room was modern and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment with a nice balcony offering views of both the city and Ha Long Bay. We enjoyed breakfast and also tried the sandwiches at the hotel — the food was decent with nothing to complain about. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, adding to the convenience. All in all, it’s a great option for a relaxing staycation with family or friends.

I was there for 3 days. In General service is good. Staff is nice. Room is really big and clean. noise canceling is excellent. I can’t hear anything even the hotel located near a bar. Minus: bathtub not really clean. Breakfast is not suitable with Asian.

The place was great. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety but not too much western food. The restaurants they had were great and the quality of food was great. The speedboats going to and from the islands are always operating which is very convenient. The only downside would be the spa, we booked a 3 hour package and it was not that great. They were not very well trained. And the bedroom we had seemed to have bedbugs. They offered for us to go see the clinic they had on site but we didn’t have enough time. It was a good experience. Wouldn’t stay again though. But the pools were beautiful and the little private beach made it worth it.
