We went to visit our granddaughter who is a freshman at UVM this year. Hotel was not too far from her. Only two exits on the highway. Very clean and welcoming staff everywhere. From the front desk receptionist to the housecleaning to the employee who saw us with luggage wheelie who offered to return it for us. Quiet hallways and very comfortable room with a fridge. We would definitely stay here again!
The hotel was clean and in great condition. The staff was fantastic and friendly and always went the extra mile. The breakfast was great with many options and again the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean and the kids had fun. I would 100% stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to others. Their service, care, friendliness and customer service should be a benchmark to all hotel and customer service representatives
The hotel is conveniently located on the side of the road. Opposite is the retired military sanatorium, great! The hotel is very clean, the windows are comfortable, free parking, free breakfast. The economy hotel is very good!
We paid almost $500 per night & realized shortly there after this place typically goes for around $150. Not sure why the major price gouge. It's definitely more of a $150.00 price point. Spa was packed with kids not even staying at the hotel. Bubbles didn't work in the spa. Bathroom floor had hair on it upon check as well as what looked like pillow stuffing on the carpet. The restaurant menu looked amazing, but we tried it first day of the menu change which didn't go so well. They must have been overwhelmed, which left us underwhelmed. We paid for the lake view upgrade, but our room was right in front of trees, so we could hardly see the lake at all. (something they should tell you when you pay the upgrade). I will say the location was great & the front desk staff was super friendly. But I would not pay almost $2000 for a three night stay here again. We've paid less for 5 star hotels.
The hotel has been refurbished, but the toilet is still a bit of a problem. But there is nothing wrong with using it carefully. . . Everything else is fine
It's a pleasant surprise. The room is big, with one bedroom and one living room. The kitchen is big with a full set of equipment. The balcony is big. Now is the autumn leaf season, so you can sit and watch the maple forest.

very nice place. My major gripe is with Trip.com. They said there was breakfast offered, and I paid extra for that. The owner said they haven't had breakfast for a LONG time. So I got ripped off by Trip.com by paying extra for a service that was not even included.
The hotel is opposite Manchester Center, , there is a big supermarket and city bus station, there are delicious Seasons, there is a cafe, brunch shop and ice cream window next to it, there is a gas station and a variety of shops are not far away, the location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful. The room is more spacious and comfortable, the window is a little smaller, breakfast is average, if it can be richer, it would be fine. The coffee machine in the room is not easy to use. Fortunately, there is coffee, hot water and drinking water supply in the hotel lobby at any time. There is also an ice machine in the elevator on each floor. In short, the experience of living here is not bad.

Very Good
CCicy JinThe oldest small hotel in the town. It has a strong English style and ancient furniture. The photo is very warm.
We booked the room three months in advance and the hotel upgraded us. We were very satisfied👍
We had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel at 7:30 in the evening. We originally wanted to have lobster pasta, but maybe we went late and there was no lobster. We changed it to beef pasta and it tasted the same👍
The portion of the dish is so large that it’s a waste if it can’t be eaten by two people…
JJUNXIANThe room was clean and spacious and very quiet. The breakfast environment is also good. Overall, the hotel is very new and very comfortable to live in. I will choose this hotel next time.
KKatieWhen we arrived, the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. We were told we could eat at the restaurant right off the lobby so we planned to eat dinner there. When we arrived at the restaurant 20 mins later, they told us we could not eat there unless we had made prior reservations due to a wedding they had next door. The lady told us “we have to prioritize the wedding of 200 people”. I asked where we should eat and the lady shrugged. One of the waiters, who was very kind apologized and recommended the bar . They had some dishes from their restaurant menu. We were pretty irritated because we were both exhausted and the lady was very rude to us. We watched 20+ people get turned away from eating dinner due to this wedding. I completely understand that they need to focus on a wedding and the food for the wedding, however we should’ve been told about this when we arrived that the restaurant wasn’t available unless we had already made a reservation. The resort is very nice and there was a lot of fun things you can do there, but some of the staff were quite unkind.
GGuest UserThe fire pjt was excellent at night for a quiet wind down. The room could probably be cleaner or maintained better as the pipe in the room are quite obvious and can see the holes near the edge of all walls inside the guest room. but appreciate it as the hotel is located at a country side.
My personal white bath towel was taken away by the housekeeping team because it looked similar to the hotel's towel. luckily it was found right before we check out. Thanks to the concierge and housekeeping team.
GGuest UserNot my first time staying here nor will it be my last. The rooms are simple but just what I'm looking for when in the area. They have a sauna, indoor pool, and an outdoor hot tub. The property is up against a creek and they have a couple places with fire pits right by it. During the ski season there is also a bar downstairs that's a cool place to hang. The small lodges on the edge of the property are really cool and comfortable too!
CChinSouth Burlington definitely need a car to get to Burlington proper. They do have a shuttle bus though that runs to like ten pm I think. The king bed with bath doesn’t exist , the bathtub is kind of old school. Checking in can be slow (waited in line for a bit). Refrigerators in room but no microwave, one exist in lobby. Gym is ok, indoor swimming pool is nice, gym isn’t 24 hours. Room was ok.
AAnonymous UserWe really enjoyed our stay here. It felt very homey. Price was just a bit steep than usual probably since we booked this last minute during peak foliage when almost everything was already fully booked in Vermont. They take your breakfast orders upon checkin. There's also a restaurant next door.
