Come to enjoy the cherry blossoms and stay for 2 nights
Location: Very easy to find, 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR Okayama Station. There are many restaurants in the Sun Station Terrace near the station. You can also go to AEON 6F, which also has many restaurants. The city bus station and highway bus station are opposite the hotel, so it is convenient to go anywhere.
Service: Worse than other Toyoko Inns in other areas. The front desk staff are dull and unenthusiastic. When I used the self-service machine to check in, I couldn't find the information and had to wait a long time for the staff to come to help. They were not proactive enough.
Room: Sufficient space, reasonable layout, elegant decoration, comfortable bedding, clean and sanitary, strong shower, facing the station and no train running noise, but the room is close to the elevator and there is slight noise at night
Breakfast: Different every day, both Japanese and Western, replenished quickly
This property offers exceptional value and is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the area. The cleanliness is good, and the staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
It's hard to describe...
1. The facilities are old. In addition to the two sockets on the table, there is one at the door of the toilet, and the main point is that you forget to take it away. They sell everything under the concept of environmental protection, water is 100, various vending machines, and toothbrushes and toothpaste are taken downstairs.
2. The bathroom bar is definitely cleaner than in China, maybe because it's old. Anyway, the table and bedspread look a bit uncomfortable. I ordered a big bed, and the bedspread made my butt itch after using it for a while
3. It's far away from Okayama, 20 minutes walk, mainly because the road is bumpy all the way there, it's really not friendly to pull a big suitcase. From the hotel to the nearby dining place is basically equivalent to walking back to the station. Even the convenience store is less than 10 minutes away, which is definitely not the distance to buy water in slippers and coats.
4. I spent a long time looking for the name when I checked in, and I met a wave of business meeting guests. Who said Japan is quiet?
If it's a good place, it includes breakfast, and the variety is quite rich. Early in the morning, curry rice, French bread and coffee...
Great location, next to train station and ferry terminals. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. I stayed in a cabin, and it was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The common area has a microwave, fridge, kettles, a selection of teas that you can make in a pot, bottled water and complementary treats. The hotel offered a free voucher for a nearby onsen, which looked lovely, but I did not visit it. The hotel also stored my luggage after checkout while I visited Naoshima. It's a little pricey for a cabin, but I was very happy with my stay.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, we were provided with a triple room. Its location is exceptionally convenient, with a dedicated walkway connecting directly to Okayama Station. The room itself was very spacious. We would have loved to try the breakfast, but as we had an early train to Takamatsu the next morning, we couldn't book it. From the smooth check-in process, it was clear this was a well-established, high-star hotel that truly prides itself on its standards.
There aren't any major problems with the hotels but it's definitely aging and can see it everywhere you go in the hotel that this hotel is really old. The hallways have marks on them and it's cracking.
The rooms are your typical tiny Japanese style hotel rooms, the beds were fine but not as clean as we hoped.
The location is great and it's very walkable to Okayama JR station and it has lots of dining and shopping options nearby.
The front desk is good, the breakfast and night curry are delicious, and I am very satisfied.
I often come to Tsuyama City, so I plan to stay here from the next time.
We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space.
1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this!
2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient.
3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it
4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately.
5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip.
6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!
KEIRIN HOTEL 10 by Onkochishin @ Tamano Keirin Velodrome
I stayed for three nights, specifically to coincide with the Summer Night Festival GII night races.
This 8-story hotel is uniquely situated right at the first corner of the Tamano Keirin Velodrome. Its exterior is brightly colored, reminiscent of Keirin uniforms.
During race events, floors 3 to 6 serve as dormitories for the athletes, while floors 7 and 8 are dedicated to guest rooms.
Without a doubt, the ability to watch Keirin races directly from your guest room's terrace is an unparalleled experience! And when it's a GII race featuring star athletes, the excitement level is truly off the charts!
Looking straight down from the terrace, you get a unique, bird's-eye perspective of the athletes as they navigate the first corner.
Furthermore, staying in the very same building as the athlete dorms makes this a one-of-a-kind hotel – a true dream come true for any Keirin enthusiast.
Even the room amenities, such as slippers and hangers, are thoughtfully designed with Keirin and bicycle motifs, adding to the overall thrill.
Access to the velodrome is incredibly convenient: simply take the hotel elevator down to the 2nd floor, follow the passage, and it leads directly to the velodrome's FORQ restaurant. Passing through the restaurant takes you straight into the velodrome itself.
This is an absolute must-stay hotel for any Keirin fan!
The hotel is located next to the Sakura River, less than 10 minutes walk from the station, very quiet at night, and convenient for shopping
There are 6 kinds of bread for breakfast, free drinks are available 24 hours a day, and the staff is very good.
Although the hotel is not new, it is well maintained and clean. The room is not too big, there is space for suitcases under the bed, and the bathroom has been redecorated.
Highly recommended 👍

Amazing
BBee-bee-goNew beautiful hotel very close to the station (5 min walk) in a great location in the middle of restaurant and downtown area. The rooms are tiny so it’ll be just a place to sleep as you can hardly open a large suitcase, but the hotel has a nice lounge on the top floor. The room is super clean and has a fridge as well as a small electric kettle to make tea. This room had a full bathroom with a large bathtub but we preferred going to the big bathroom upstairs. When I stayed at a smaller room on another day, it only had a shower so it seems to differ by type of room. The breakfast set needs to be purchased separately but we thought it was worth it. The hot dish alternates between Western and Japanese style on a daily basis, and the buffet had all kinds of dishes including a very yummy Japanese style curry. Also, the lounge had a great terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. In overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay to the extent we ended up extending our stay for a few days.

GGuest UserHad good dinner , dinner last order at 830pm with 2 sets of choices , breakfast start at 630am buffet style, coffee machine out of order, female onsen need to get key from reception counter and use another lift to go up , washing machine is 300 yen and dryer 100yen , able to communicate with simple English. Near to Aeon mall. Okayama JR take East exit

RRobertRight near the historic canal area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, this hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and WiFi worked great.
The only weird thing to me was breakfast, which were pre-packaged sandwiches (tasted great by the way!). Outside of breakfast hours you weren't allowed to get coffee from the machine, you had to use boiled water and instant coffee instead in your room, a missed chance for something so benign.

MMINNAMIt is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
