Good stay overall, but some small downsides
The hostel was quiet and clean, with fast check-in. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk to the central station, which is really convenient.
The shower room inside the bedroom was very small, and the bed in my 4-bed female dorm felt tiny — only about 2.5 ft wide, so it was a bit cramped. Luckily, there’s a larger shower room in the basement, which I mainly used instead.
I liked that there were lots of activities to do in the hostel and a spacious common area to relax and meet other travelers.
One thing to note: you have to pay extra to use the kitchen, which I didn’t expect.
Overall, it’s a good option for a short stay if you don’t mind a small bed and want a social hostel close to the city.
Great hotel, large rooms and sustainable in its design and function. Very clean and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The lobby area and design is super trendy and great to rewind at the end of the day or to work there in the evening. Also Very close to the central station (2 mins) and popular destinations. Loads of options for restaurants, bakeries, shopping nearby too. Safe area highly recommend!!
Probably the best hotel you can ever get at this price in Denmark! The room is spacious, clean, the hallway and front is well-designed, everything spells top notch and comfortable! The customer service was helpful and friendly. We wish we could have stayed more nights here. It's 20mins to center via metro, one stop away from a rather big mall with a hypermarket (or 15mins walk). It's also near a nice eatery and a supermarket. The area is not that developed yet so it's not so crowded and noisy. Love this place.
Great location near the airport and plenty of ways to get into the city. Basic room With not so good aircon as it was 28C, soundproof and block out blinds. Check in was quick, it is extra before 3pm. The breakfast buffet at 6am was good, decent variety and not busy. We went for THE DINNER BUFFET THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. they has pasta and meatball, some sort of tasteless chicken curry and rice, fries or fried small potatoes, watered down leek soup. Dried up cold meet and a variety of pizzas. Salads consisted of cabbage, Russian, beetroot, and some fish salad that had no fish, all mainly empty and rarely replenished. Lots of bread, water and for dessert a choice of.... no only kidding,,,,, a slab of chocolate cake cut into squares. No hot beverages. All for Usd $52 PER head.
A pretty decent hotel located off 1.5km from the city centre, but the rate has compensated. It’s quite good for young travelers who are willing to walk to the vicinities, however it will not be economical to take taxi or uber every time you need to go out.

The hotel is nicely decorated and conveniently located near a subway station and major shopping malls. The facilities are all very new, making for a comfortable stay, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the check-in time is quite late (3:00 PM), and the price is on the higher side. Service was decent.
This hotel is a good hotel for traveling by car.
There are several marts nearby, so it is convenient to buy necessary items.
The hotel is spacious and has a well-equipped garden, so it is good to drink beer at the outdoor table in the evening.
The breakfast restaurant is also spacious and has a beautiful park view, and the food served buffet-style is delicious.
It is also good to take a walk in the park after eating.
The gym and massage facilities are free, and there are separate shower facilities,
so it is convenient to prepare to go out in the morning.
Wonderful experience at villa copenhagen. The check-in took a little too long because we booked 1 large bed but they put me to twin room. The lady receptionist tried to solved it best as she could. We stayed here 2 nights. The rooftop pool experience is a must for the visit. The room interior is fully and classy decorated with high quality materials. Bed was nice. I recommended this hotel if you transit by train. The location is right by the train platform, back exit. The lobby bar vibe was cozy and lively.
Nice hotel in a convenient position to explore the city. Close to ikea and commercial center, metro and train station. Not fully satisfied by breakfast but overall a very nice hotel
I stayed at this hotel recently, and I found it to be conveniently located near the airport. It was just a 4-minute walk from the metro station, which made it easy to get to. However, I must mention that it took quite some time to reach the central area from the hotel.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly im general. However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that there were no cleaning services available for the dishes. If you plan on cooking your own meals, be prepared to wash the dishes yourself. Additionally, there was one day when the cleaner missed cleaning our room.
Overall, the hotel offers a convenient location near the airport and has friendly staff, but there are some areas where improvements could be made, such as providing cleaning services for the dishes and ensuring consistent room cleaning.
Not a bad experience.

GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
GGuest UserThe location is not far from the Town Hall. It consists of two sections (different entrances) - a bar (the reception is also there), the next door leads to the hostel rooms, which occupy six floors. The elevator (of an old design) goes only to the fifth - so those who got a room on the sixth will have to walk one more floor up.The rooms are quite cramped, the top bed is suspended on pipes, which can give the impression that you are in a basement. On the entire floor - only two toilets, two sinks and three showers. The kitchen as such is not available to guests - there is a small dark room on the ground floor under the bar - which contains two small refrigerators, a microwave, a kettle. There is not even a sink with running water - this can be difficult if you need to wash your own dishes, fruits/vegetables, etc.
AacacacStunning view from a room window where you can see beautiful ocean if you’re assigned to oceans side! I really appreciated that they have bathtub as most of the hotels in Copenhagen doesn’t have it and it’s so relaxing to have a bathtub after busy day.
Stuffs at the reception are kind and nice.
Amenities are not so good though. With this price they should provide at least a kettle and a cup for tea/coffee/water. They don’t provide them which is weird as most of the hotel even budget hotels provide them so hope the hotel can consider it in the future. Reception gave me hot water but we need to go downstairs every time we need it which is very inconvenient.
But it’s clean, new hotel and breakfast has many varieties which I really enjoyed.
Thank you for the lovely stay!
BBrianI stayed for three nights at their single bedroom and I enjoyed my stay primarily for the location and the reception area with nice seats and sofas. The bar is open until evening and had coffees too. The location is just next to the main city train station and you can walk for 20 minutes to get to Tivoli, the Parliament House and for a little longer to the mermaid, docks, and war museum. My room was typical European extra small but the shower and bed are more comfortable than the typical budget room in Paris. The breakfast is continental and doesn’t change but they open by 6.30 am, which is a godsend if your flight is early or you’re an early bird. You can cross over to the opposite hotel to access a small gym room (no one used it so I enjoyed it). Absalon is expensive and there are cheaper options but I absolutely didn’t regret staying there.
PPypyppyI slept in women tent. The staff is super nice. And super useful guide to explore Copenhagen if you join the WhatsApp group. There’s port on bed for charging. A locker for you to put stuff. And the location is fantastic. Easy to get around the city by transportation nearby. They don’t have a kitchen but you can buy food to eat in the bar and there are many cafes, McDonald’s, street food and bar nearby. They have big washroom and seperate toilet and washroom that you dun have to worry about peeing yourself. And they have a bar.
The room space is not big. And there’s many dust under the charging port on bed. But overall I think it’s fine.
WWoolly WandererFantastic place to stay. Will definitely visit again. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a “hostel” to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday but we had the best time! There were lots of guests who weren’t young. You just need to be able to get on your hands and knees for the bed! 🤭 There is ample room to sit up in bed. This place has hotel level facilities without the cost. There is a 7/11 store 2 blocks away. Under 10 minutes to walk to Enghave Plads Metro station where there is a beautiful square with lots of cafes to get breakfast. It was about 20 minutes to walk to Tivoli Gardens.

CCHOW LONG HANGIt is overall okay for me. There is a bar downstairs, it is a good option for solo or group travelers.
For dorm room, it is no curtain, a bit lack of privacy. But the toilet and shower is okay and clean. There is locker inside the dorm room but you have to prepare your own lock.
The location is 10-15 minute walk from city centre.
ZzymfycThe only advantage of this hotel is that it is conveniently located near the central railway station, next to the subway m3 & 4, and there is a convenient 5c bus to the airport (cash only), and it is only 300 meters away from the side door of the railway station.
Next, let's talk about the magical foreign hotel services:
1. Early check-in charges 200dkk
2. Luggage storage, 10dkk/h, free storage is only in a few lockers
3. Check-out time is 11 am, late charge 300
4. The curtains are very light-transmitting, and the room feels bright at 7 am
Through this hotel, I fully appreciate the difference in service. Domestic hotel peers are too excellent, and the price of downtown hotels in Colombia is really far ahead, basically no one is less than 2k.
MmarkkkkIt can be said to be a very good hotel. The room is relatively large in Denmark. The facilities are new and have a lot of design. The environment is very quiet at night. The hotel is surrounded by water. There is a large living room next to the front desk. There is also an Asian restaurant. The taste is OK but a bit expensive. The hotel also provides fishing rods and bicycles for rent. Anyway, it is a very interesting hotel. The disadvantage is that it is far from the subway, but there is a shuttle bus every 10 minutes, which is okay. There are relatively few restaurants nearby. The price is right, so it is recommended.
