The location is excellent, very close to Sky Tower, Albert Park, McDonald's, pharmacies, and more, making it incredibly convenient for dining and getting around. The room was spotless and fantastic. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming; there was even a thoughtful Chinese-speaking lady. I sprained my ankle, and they provided ice packs multiple times, even helping to deliver my takeout order to the room – I was truly grateful for that. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Auckland. Highly recommend!
I was thoroughly impressed. The property is modern, well-appointed, and clearly designed with the business traveler in mind.
Check-in was seamless — the staff were sharp, professional, and proactive. The room was well laid out with excellent lighting, reliable Wi-Fi, and an outstanding bed — easily one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The in-house restaurant exceeded expectations. Breakfast was efficient, the quality of the food was high, and the coffee stood out. The bar carried some excellent wines, and the team were sharp with their wine knowledge — a nice surprise. The gym was another highlight, fitted out with premium Technogym equipment — far above the usual hotel standard. Overall, a strong addition to Auckland’s hotel scene — I’d be happy to return and recommend it for business or leisure stays.
Sky tower locates in the CBD, where you get access to any tourism sites. No need to take bus or train to shopping area. The car parking service is great which saves us a lot of budget.
Loved this hotel! If you’re ever in Auckland and you’re not sure where to stay, I really recommend this hotel!
Clean bathroom, clean room, has all the basic amenities and walking distance to eateries as well as the harbour + sky tower :)
Great service and staff were all really friendly! I appreciate the hospitality and thank you for reserving the car parking for my family and I :)
I stayed at the Holiday inn, and it was a really good experience. It’s close to the airport, which made traveling easy. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. They also have an airport shuttle, which was very handy.
Breakfast was great, with lots of choices, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I asked for non-feather pillows, and they put in a lot of effort to accommodate me, which I really appreciated.
The pool and garden area are lovely—perfect for relaxing. It’s also quiet, so it’s a great spot for families or anyone who wants some peace and quiet.
Overall, it’s a nice, convenient, and comfortable place to stay. I’d definitely come back!
I stayed in a 4 people shared room. The room was comfortable with enough space to storage my backpacks. Each bed is in a pod which provides privacy.
There is a shared kitchen with anything you need to prepare a meal, however it can get quite busy.
Location is okay, you need to walk about 10 to 15 min to get to the center and a bit more to get to the shore.
The hotel is clean, but overall not very convenient. You have to pay around $10 to take a bus there, and the bus runs on a fixed schedule, which makes it less flexible and a bit inconvenient.
Had an amazing stay everything was perfect staff were lovely and very accommodating we even got let in to our room early (I did give them a message when I booked as we had an early flight). Highly recommend coming here for location, friendliness and vibes just overall happy as Larry 👍😆
The room was spacious and centrally located, which made everything very convenient. There's also a car rental agency nearby. However, I wouldn't recommend parking at the hotel, as overnight parking is quite expensive. The breakfast was pretty mediocre, so I'd advise skipping it and exploring the many dining options close by.

TTay_28Good location from the airport
Quick and easy check-in. Room had everything needed. The shower had amazing pressure! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. No heating in room, but no biggy. Place could do with a lick of paint/ u
Renovation, but you get what you pay for. Decent value for money
GGillian Laiwe stayed there for a night before going back to Hong Kong. The hotel was really close to the airport. The room was clean and spacious. Highly recommended for travelers who need to have a short stay near the airport
王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
GGuest UserGreat hotel, great price and great room with free shuttle bus. Unfortunately I arrived late and the duvet on the bed was badly stained. Nothing was done to assist my complaint at the time (which could have earned a 5star review) but I was given a free breakfast in the morning and refunded half the cost of the room.
GGuest UserFriendly staff, one of the employees gave us some wrong information but it didn’t hinder our experience, the staff member that drove us to the airport was very friendly and punctual, very happy about a free airport shuttle service and good value for money hotel, would stay there again 😊

GGuest UserThe location is quite good and the room is large and bright. The car can park just outside the room.
But there is no space to put the clothing in the toilet. We cannot watch TV since it relies on wifi and the signal is very poor. We have 4 ppl but only 3 can connect wifi. My access card cannot work and no one at reception can help even I waited for 10 minutes. Luckily I met a housekeeper who can assist me.
GGuest UserHave stayed here before and find it the best value for a place to stay overnight close to the airport with a free shuttle. Reception staff pleasant on arrival and departure. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but looks nice. Would stay here again if the price remains lower than other options.

TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
