"Just got back from Xiangyang and I honestly found the Anpu Meisu Garden Hotel to be a very comfortable stay. The location is great, right by the city moat, and it's not a far walk to the North Street of the ancient city, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. The guesthouse has a courtyard design with excellent greenery, very quiet and peaceful – no noise whatsoever. The rooms are clean and tidy, with impeccable hygiene. They're also smart rooms with complete facilities and equipment. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the bedding is really comfortable. "This hotel meets my expectations because my job is related to hotels. Based on my understanding of five-star hotels, this hotel can actually do better. It just needs to be improved a bit. I drove here on National Day this time, and I was most afraid of not having a parking space, but I don’t have to worry about it at SDIC Jiayue. There are plenty of parking spaces, both underground and above ground. I give this a 10 points. This hotel has high integrity and is owned by itself. Unlike the floors and parking spaces of other hotels where I stayed the next day, they were shared with other hotels. (Mainly, SDIC Jiayue was fully booked, so there were no seats available the next day). Secondly, the location of this hotel is a little far away from the ancient city and Tangcheng, because I thought that I didn’t care about these problems because I didn’t drive. There are few places to eat and drink for late night snacks nearby, but you can order takeout. If you check into the hotel early in the evening, the hotel has a QR code for ordering food that you can scan and order. Off-topic (the chef in our five-star hotel is available 24 hours a day and can cook as long as the guests need it. This can be improved, although basically no one eats late-night snacks in the hotel). In addition, the operation of turning on the TV program is too complicated. If you are old and don't know how to operate it, you should just watch TV and change channels as soon as you turn it on. By the way, I would like to criticize the front desk. When guests check in, it’s a bit awkward for two staff members to chat in front of me, right? I care about this very much and feel disrespected. In fact, I am very unhappy about this matter. This hotel was recommended by a friend and I went there with the intention of giving it a try. The result was completely beyond my expectation. The front office service is very good. They will explain the details when checking in. When I need something, the response speed is very fast and the problem can be solved in basically 5 minutes. , the parking lot is free, and eating downstairs is also very convenient. It is a nice hotel within walking distance to the city walls. The bed and pillows are really comfy. Breakfast selection is limited but tasty. What really stands out is the exceptional service of the reception staff and also kudos to the female chef at breakfast who is patient with our vegetarian requirement. The only thing is the wifi is pretty weak and breaks often.

The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. When I was young, I lived in Xiangyang for a year, and from that year on, I, who never used to eat noodles, fell in love with them! I never expected to come back just to see Angela Chang! The concert was electric with thousands of people singing along! Her float performance showed how much she spoils her fans! After the concert, the crowd dispersed quickly, and all the staff did an excellent job! The hotel claims to be the tallest in Xiangyang, and it was indeed comfortable and clean. There were even welcome fruits, truly making me feel the warmth of the Xiangyang people! I left in a hurry this time, but I'll definitely be back! Honestly, the hotel breakfast was quite average, though everything else was excellent, there's still room for improvement. I hope Xiangyang continues to thrive! And Angela Chang too. I thought I might run into her at the hotel, but I missed her. No worries, we'll meet again if it's meant to be.

The location is OK, next to the Xiangyang Railway Station Square. The size of the hotel is okay and the hygiene is okay. The carpet is stained in some places and looks uncomfortable. The most uncomfortable thing is that the paper bag and slippers are marked with a ”take away fee”. This is the first time I have seen this situation in a hotel in Hong Kong and Macao in the past 20 years when I have been traveling.
