Hotels With Wi-Fi in Vilnius county, Lithuania

We were on the 5th floor with great vistas of the city. Our room was warm and comfy and we enjoyed 2 nights there. We ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was very nice but it was a bit pricey so definitely cheaper to eat in town. It was very handy for breakfasts just being situated across from a world famous fast food outlet where we went each morning. The hotel was well situated for walking trips into the city which we did each day.

A wonderful experience at the hotel. This is the perfect accommodation for exploring Vilnius. The hotel has a lot character as it is a former monastery. My room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

The location is right at the heart of the city center and all attractions are within walking distance. The bed is one of the best I have ever slept in with memory foam. However the design and the layout of the bedroom and bathroom needs improvement as the shower and bathtub are separate units, looks weird and small and narrow. Old railing/shelf needs to be removed in the shower area as I keep hitting it. Wifi connection is good. Breakfast food is standard nothing outstanding. There are not much selection of fruits and using spoon to scoop the muesli is quite silly. I would expect to see omelets there but were not catered there for a 5 stars hotel like Novotel. Overall the stay was comfortable just missed out the usual Novotel hospitality I have expected.

The room was fine. The breakfast buffet was mediocre (not a lot of choice), though the little pancakes were tasty. The coffee is horrible, they should get new machines that use fresh beans. Very bad WiFi connection. About 25 minutes on foot to the cathedral square, so it is located a bit outside city centre.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was on the 5th floor and I loved the view of the mural on the opposite building. The bed was cozy with 6 pillows and I had a restful sleep in it. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The breakfast was good, they had nice options to choose from. The lady at the bar area in the restaurant was pleasant when I asked for hot chocolate, as I couldn’t find the option on the coffee machine. Turns out they have 3 machines but the one behind doesn’t make hot chocolate. I liked the swing and spent some minutes on it after taking a stroll to a nearby restaurant in the evening. On the downside, I noticed water marks on the table top in the bedroom and sink. It seemed like the surface had not been wiped in since the last stay. I also noticed hair strands on the sink counter in the bathroom. I assumed there would be bathroom slippers and I didn’t come with mine, but there wasn’t and the bathroom floor was a bit cold. Guess I should always have mine handy ☺️. Overall, it was nice

THEY CANCELED OUR ROOMS (2 DOUBLE ROOMS) WITH THE CASE ”SORRY - OUR HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED”. BUT THE REAL AND TRUE CASE WAS, THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS CAUSE OF RARLY AVAILABLE ROOMS IN MAY 2023/VILNIUS. WE ORGINALLY PAID 599 EURO FOR ONE WEEK TOTAL FOR BOTH DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022. IN MAI 2023 THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS FOR OVER AROUND 2000 EURO+ PER WEEK (EACH ROOM!). FROM THE BUSINESS POINT OF VIEW ITS SURLY WISE BUT ITS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR TO THE GUESTS TO F*CK THEIR LONG PLANNED HOLIDAYS IN THE LAST MOMENT BEFOR THE TRAVEL BEGINS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO FIND ANOTHER PAYABLE HOTEL IN VILNIUS SO WE HAD TO CHOOSE SOMETHING 30KM OUTSIDE OF VILNIUS CITY. WE HAD TO USE BOLT/UBER TAXIS EVERY DAY AND WE HAD ALOT OF EXTRA COSTS CAUSE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS HOTEL. WE ARE VERY VERY DISAPOINTED AND I WILL POST THIS STORY WHEREVER I CAN! UNBELIEVABLE!

Very close to the airport, only a 5-minute walk away. The room facilities are very good. I hope to stay here again next time. You can sit on the platform and drink tea outside the room on the second floor.

I'm giving the hotel 4 stars because the location is great if you're on a short layover, otherwise it only rates 3 stars. There's a lot of construction going on, so maybe in the future the hotel will rate 4 or even 5 stars. It's quite old and outdated, which is not a bad thing, but the bed was small, the room was too hot even though a small fan was provided and the shower was very small. The bathroom seemed clean, but the rest of the room was a bit sketchy. The included breakfast buffet was very good and service was friendly. It's just a few minutes walk to the arrivals area of the airport.

We stayed in room 209 and I can honestly say after reading reviews online that I was a little concerned about the hotel and I relayed that to the site I booked it with before our arrival. The positives are definitely its location and breakfast. It is 5 minutes from the bus and train stations. This is great because the airport runs regular direct services to and from the stations. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a decent variety of cold and hot food to cater for all tastes although we did find it amusing that they served cooked vegetables for breakfast. The room on the day of arrival did have the necessary provisions needed and it was tidy also. It is also near the Maxima stores and plenty of restaurants and bars. The negatives are definitely the heating not on. We arrived on the 17th of October and at that time of year there has to be heating on. Now they did provide a small heater to plug in but these heaters are so old that they must cost a fortune to use and some people can find that such heaters can make them feel stuffy. The rooms need soundproofing. The main road doesn't bother me but what bothers me is listening to other guests talking and one room in particular had a couple arguing with each other. The breakfast staff were friendly but the rest were not. Maybe the employers are hard to work for? The room wasn't cleaned the next day and we didn't notice any cleaners around that day either so there may be merit to the complaints about the condition of the rooms. There was no staff at reception after 8pm which again shows that this place takes shortcuts. Maybe this place is better suited in the Summer but definitely not in the Autumn or Winter.

It was not the first time we rested in the Vilnius Grand Resort hotel. Stayed 3 times in deluxe rooms and many times in superior. This time there was an improved room, but I had never seen such furniture before - a chest of drawers made of pine 30 years old. It was impossible to look directly. There is no light curtain on the window - no comfort. But the bed is snow-white, the bath is super clean. Breakfast is worthless. Overcooked bacon, dry old herring, not even fried eggs. Breakfast deteriorated We put good coffee machines, and saved money to buy decent coffee. The advertised SPA is practically inaccessible - there are parents with children. There is a way out - we pay 19th and go to the new SPA. It's wonderful there.
