It was a wonderful hotel.
Not only the rooms, but also the spa and dining area. I regret that we couldn't explore everything because it was raining.
The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no staff there to wait for the spa return card or to greet other customers who had come to the spa, but even during those times it was a space where we could spend without feeling irritated.
There were no other issues that were of particular concern.
The spa is also by reservation only, so there were not many people and we were able to relax.
Above all, the room was simply wonderful and the breakfast was even more delicious than I expected, with carefully selected ingredients and seasonings that made the most of the ingredients. The view from the dining area was also amazing, and above all, we could hear the birds chirping and enjoy a wonderful breakfast.
Very closed to Kintetsu train station and good access to JR station.. Room is clean but need redecorating. Rceptioni staffs are very helpful. Bonus to have onsen spa on site.
Super market in front of the hotel and a drug store is 1 min walk. Good access to Ise Shrine.
This hotel was a surprise! The heavy rain disrupted the hiking plan. Many people came to the hotel before the check-in time. They just wanted to store their backpacks and figure out another way. As a result, the enthusiastic handsome guy at the front desk took the initiative to check in early. I was able to take a hot shower to avoid catching a cold. It was really great. He was very helpful and even took the initiative to bring out a lot of travel information and umbrellas... very good! Speaking of hardware, it's an American-style hotel. It's new. The design and bedding are very good. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, which is much wider than the average Japanese-style hotel. There is a self-service tea room and restaurant on the first floor. The bed is very comfortable and the hygiene is no problem. The location is right in front of the JR station, which requires a short detour, but there are many shopping restaurants around. Backpackers can buy drinks and cooked food from the local supermarket, heat them up, and sit in the lobby to enjoy them. The price/performance ratio is very high. Remember to clean up and keep clean. I have traveled to Japan many times. This kind of hotel is actually quite suitable for foreigners. Except for the lack of a big bathroom, it has all the advantages. I recommend staying here.
The location is very good, just outside JR, the service attitude is very good, the room is clean, well-equipped, laundry, free hot spring and coffee, very good.
The breakfast tastes very good👍Highly recommended
Quite a good selection on amenities, especially if you like taking baths (different kinds of bath salts)
Many choices on the types of pillows you want, and the room was much bigger than I thought, with a very good view... and I liked the balcony. They also have many snacks to choose from at the lounge to welcome the guests. Very convenient location too. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The rooms are quite dated but still clean. All staff members I encountered speak English and are very friendly. No on-site laundry but there is one opposite to the hotel.
This was my first time staying at a villa that can be rented as a whole.
It was an indescribable luxury to be able to take a bath while looking out at the great outdoors from the bath in my room.
The windows in the room were large, so it was wonderful to be able to get a panoramic view of the scenery outside.
The hotel has a shuttle bus at Toba Station, which is convenient. The hotel service is very good and worth praising. The whole hotel is well designed and the hot spring is great. The welcome cake upon check-in tasted delicious. The breakfast and dinner were quite rich and beautifully presented. It would be perfect if the taste could be improved a little.
A pleasant experience, the hotel design is chic, giving people a refreshing feeling. The dinner was very good, the full set of salmon feasts, every time it was classic, so enjoyable. A worthwhile trip
The contents were completely love hotel.
Cospa is the highest than a business hotel.
It was good to be in amenities, karaoke and VOD.
I was worried about the sound of the train because it was next to the track.

KKennyDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks.
One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel.
Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay.
In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.
GGuest UserThe food was delicious and although it was a quiet town, I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanMie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting.
Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk.
The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options.
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby.
When you check in, you will see the last name or first name of each room occupant on the welcome board at the hotel entrance. It is quite interesting to find your own name.
GGuest UserIt's in a very convenient location in front of the station. You have to take the amenities you need yourself, but it was convenient to have a choice of pillows with different hardness and towels to wash your body in the bath.
Ccotton_fromokinawaIt was a very beautiful room with good cleaning.
I stayed in a family type room with two people, so I was satisfied with the size! Even if I spread a large suitcase 2, it didn't get in the way at all ◎
There is no room key, unlock it with the password given at the front desk and enter the room.
It was comfortable not to carry a key card on purpose ♩
There was a mini kitchen and cooking utensils and tableware, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer ・: * +.
There are not many rice shops in the neighborhood and it closes quickly, so I think it's good to buy ingredients at the supermarket and cook for yourself before going to Ise City.
GGuest UserAn old style western hotel but in general clean. The staff very nice and helpful. I asked them to help phone a restaurant make booking. I didn't realize the restaurant did not open yet. The hotel staff tried calling the restaurant a few times but no one answered. Finally, the hotel staff sent the restaurant a message. I didn't request the hotel staff to do so but they did it on their own. Without the hotel message to the restaurant, we would not be able to have a nice osyter buffet. Thanks them very much. If I have to complain, I should say they have to clean the bath room more thoroughly. The toilet and bath room inside the room were just totally renovated a few years but there were already black stains and mould on the wall near the bath tub. Also, there's dust on the hand rail in the toilet.
GGuest UserI have two feelings about this stay.
1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival.
2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.
GGuest UserAmazing staff - always kind and helpful. Food was wonderful and the best we had in Japan. The menu had around ten courses, each course with multiple small bowls and dips, beautifully arranged and served with love. The fish was very fresh and tasted amazing.
We enjoyed using the onsen every day. Always clean, hot and soothing, they also offer a wide range of shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. No need to bring your own.
The hotel itself (and the town) is a bit old unfortunately and although it is very clean, beds and rugs are older and might smell a bit. Other than that our stay was perfect.
GGargoyleumLocation was decent - about 8-9 min walk from JR Iseshi station.
Hotel lounge area was super. Just refurbished/looks modern and trendy, with a 24/7 coffee and tea bar.
Room itself - clean-ish, felt alright, but I get what other reviewers mean when they say it is old.
The rooms are clean, very basic but not modern. Wallpaper slightly peeling but they are trying their best to keep up appearances.
Bathroom was clean.
Reception lady was really earnest and nice.
Overall, for the price paid in this area, I have no complaints and would stay again unless I find something better at same value.
