Located right across Mito station, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes were easily accessible. The rooms were also a decent size, and the reception staff were very helpful. Parking was 600 JPY a night just outside the hotel.
The hotel is right next to JR Mito Station, surrounded by shopping district cinemas and convenience stores, which is very convenient. As an old hotel that has been open for a long time, the hotel facilities are well maintained, and the layout of the room is also pretty good, and it doesn't feel particularly depressing. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also okay, and you can have some soba noodles. In short, it is still recommended for people who need to take a break in Mito but are too lazy to walk too much.
I came from Mito to Oarai. There are shuttles, but there is a bus that goes right in front of the hotel, so it was easy to get there. If you are lucky, you can also take the signboard wrapping bus. This is also a project to attract Koreans in Ibaraki Prefecture, and I made a reservation for 70,000 won per night including breakfast. I made a standard twin room with a spacious 24m². The front desk is on the 2nd floor and the embankment is on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it may be difficult to go up and down the stairs. The room is like home, so you can take off your shoes and walk around barefoot or in slippers, and the bathroom and toilet are completely separate. However, the sink is a little small, and it feels like a traditional Japanese toilet, so it is still unfamiliar. However, if you want to use the large bath at the hotel, you can use the large bath as much as you want within a set time at the Oarai Hotel, which is about a 3-minute walk away, so I washed up here every day. Foot massages, green tea, and ice cream are also free. Since it is a large room, there are two beds and a charger next to it, so you can use your phone while sleeping! Oarai is a small town, so it is much easier to get around by bicycle than by bus. Usually, you can rent an electric bicycle at the station for 1,000-1,500 yen per day, but this hotel rents an electric bicycle for 600 yen per day, so I rode it for 1,800 yen for 3 days, which was a good deal. You can ride it as much as you want until midnight, and when you are done riding, you can bring it to the front desk and they will recharge it. There are two types of breakfast: a buffet and a set meal. According to my guess, it is a buffet on weekends and a set meal on weekdays. Either way, it is delicious and plentiful, and eating breakfast while looking at the ocean right in front and the torii on the ocean was really emotional. I want to take pictures of the life-size signboards that I haven't been to and go to the stores that I haven't been to, so I want to stay here if I come back later.
I was a bit disappointed that the Ocean Torii Gate was a little ways from the hotel. Having said that the ocean view from our room was very nice. The meals were delicious and staff very helpful. Sadly our room was very dusty and the bath seemed to be in need of a good clean so we just showered. There was wallpaper beginning to come off the walls and the sliding door blinds and door surrounds were quite dirty. Disappointing considering the room price.
It was a clean and stylish hotel.
It was very convenient as it was close to the station.
One thing was that there was a lack of explanation about the location of the parking lot, and they just told me to search online.
I had searched online but couldn't find the entrance to the parking lot and got lost, so when I mentioned this at check-in, they didn't seem to mind very much.
They just kept explaining about the hotel to me.
What kind of training do they give their staff?
The hotel is high with ample parking space. Rooms are clean n bed comfortable. Only deviation is hotel serve English bf though sufficient but lack variety . For the past weeks of travel this is the only hotel we came across serving western bf only. .overall we are satisfied! Hotel supplies L'OCCITANE toiletries
A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.
I was on a business trip to Hitachi City, which was very convenient. There is a large supermarket next to it, and the prices are cheaper than in Tokyo. It is very close to Hitachi Station, which is quite convenient. The breakfast is also quite suitable. It is a typical Japanese hotel with a high cost performance. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is not very good.
For some reason I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be really good. The staff were very friendly, it smelled nice, and everything was very clean.
The large public bath was also very comfortable, and the quality of the amenities was good.
You can also rent bicycles to explore the surrounding area, so even by yourself it was a lot of fun. Every single thing at breakfast was delicious. The day before I went to a breakfast buffet at a hotel in Ginza, but this was far better. It was twice the price, though.
I was disappointed in a way. I'd like to use it again.
The room is very clean and the details are well done. Slippers and toothbrushes are available for self-service on the first floor. Nail clippers and irons are also provided. The cleaning lady is very professional and tidily arranges the bedding. There is a drug store opposite and food is convenient nearby. It costs 1,000 yuan per night. Good value for money for three people in Japan.

FFontaneI live on the 4th floor. I see the rooftop of the quarantine building when I go out of the hotel window. I will see someone eating smoke on the rooftop. I can call it a smoker. It feels too safe!
The wall is so thin, it is easy to hear the isolation room talking. Although the hotel staff is not very good in English, they try their best to solve it with Google translate!

GGuest UserThe room is not big, similar to regular Japanese hotels, the hygiene is good, the breakfast is slightly richer than those in Tokyo, it is right next to the JR station, very convenient, and there are many restaurants around
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and spotless. Amenities such as face/batth towel, coffee drips, face cream etc are self-helped.
We ran into issue checking in as we reserved 2 rooms for 3 pax. Somehow the reservation was confused and we had to pay additional for 3rd person.
Thankfully it was resolved by Trip.
FFENGLINFront desk: The service is very good, there is a Taiwanese sister who speaks Chinese, and the communication depends on her. In the middle of the night, there should be only one security grandfather. Food: Everything is delicious. It is available in the morning and evening, but it needs to be booked in advance. The food office near the 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon will be off work. If the hotel is expensive, the hotel also has instant noodles. But it is recommended to try dinner, it is delicious. Hot springs: There is an open air! if you are willing to! You can go to the bubble 24 hours a day! And very few people! One word: cool! A variety of skin care, cleaning products, are also very easy to use (sensitive skin measured), it is worthwhile to try to empty. Room: The room is spacious and it looks like which one you booked. Shrine: The Tsukuba Shrine is going out and turning right. When you look up at the hotel door, you will see the bird house. From that bird house, you will enter. After visiting the shrine, go to the orbital station and follow the tips on the left to climb some steps. The track goes back and forth 1050 yen. The top of the mountain: To the top of the mountain is the male body mountain, very close; to the right is the female body mountain, the mountain road is not easy to walk, 15 minutes, you can go to a mountaintop, there is a small hall. You can choose to take the cable car over there, but will not return to the hotel.
Ttoon_nootIt is not very near the train station but walkable. Lobby is very spacious and roomy. Staff are very attentive. Enjoyed the onsen a lot! The onsen amenities are good (yakult are offered after morning bath while ice cream are offered after dinner bath, there is also a room filled with manga for your entertainment next to the bath). We were given a corner room and the vent was very noisy. The bed is moderately hard and so were the pillows. However, upon request, they changed us another room without much hesitation. They are also very prompt with their service when extra pillows were requested.
GGuest UserThe staff were very nice, I had no difficulty checking in, and I received a free meal (frozen to put in the microwave). There is a Lawson just a block away. The room was very clean (no odor at all), much more spacious than I expected, and there were plenty of electrical outlets, even one next to the bed. There was an air purifier/humidifier and an AC/heating unit. Some people probably like the firmness of the bed, but I would have preferred it to be softer. I wished there was a reading lamp at the head of the bed.
FYI: There are steps to enter each room and a large step into the bathroom.
ポポムポムぶりんThe front desk staff, amenities, and room cleaning were all very good.
However, the walls were so thin that I could hear the snoring from the room next door, so I couldn't sleep well. This time I was snoring, but considering that there was a possibility that I could hear people talking, I didn't think I could repeat it. Too bad😢
AAOYAGI KOICHII was looking for a hotel with a large bath and sauna, so it was good to be able to make a reservation. The water bath next to the sauna was not so cold, so I could enter it for a long time and I could enter the sauna and water bath many times. It's nice that soft drinks are free to drink.
It was good because I could walk to the planetarium of Hitachi Civic Center just next door.
ああっつつLocated in the center of Sakai Town, it is convenient for business use. There was also a parking lot, and there were many other people who used it for business. The interior is clean with all the minimum items.
I wonder if the price is like this in this era ...
