The price/performance ratio is very high, and the location is superb. I originally just didn't want to drive 7 hours from Switzerland to Paris, so I booked it halfway, and it turned out to be an unexpectedly good place.
Beautiful hotel on the very center of Reims walking distance from the cathedral. Recently renovated. Big rooms, beautiful and user friendly design. Very clean. Nice spa, bar and restaurant areas. Very friendly and professional staff.
2 persons 1serviet despite request.
The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable.
No salad at breakfast on Sunday morning.
Many bread hygiene, everyone touches it to be able to cut it.
The room is located in the eastern side of the window with a cross-seaking balcony.
No air conditioning, it was very hot but impossible to open the window the world passes on the balcony.
Sorry the outer greening framework is nice.
Very disappointed.
Completely renovated and unusual room. Hotel to try!! Unbeatable value for money. Very friendly staff and not stingy with advice. Simple but effective breakfast in an unusual room, very popular with customers. Only drawback, the air conditioning which doesn't really work. And above all, don't hesitate to ask for a renovated room because apparently the old rooms aren't great.
Everything was fine as expected from a budget hotel. Receptionists were nice, although they can’t really speak English. The only issue upon check in was that I was asked to pay the hotel fees again even if I already prepaid online. They said that they did not charge the card when i made the prepayment as it was only meant to reserve the rooms. So i paid right then and there at the reception once again. Then this morning, i check that both cards (the one used for prepayment and the one used at the reception) were actually charged. Now, i have duplicate payments which I’m still tryint to resolve with Trip customer service.
In addition, we were suddenly awoken the next morning due to all the noise right outside our door. Somebody was shouting/talking so loudly and kept banging things. When i opened the door, it was the housekeeping lady. What is the purpose of putting the “do not disturb” sign on the door if the person who’s not supposed to disturb you is actually disturbing you from directly outside your room. This is the first time i have met such a loud housekeeper and the first time a housekeeper did not greet “good morning” eventhough we met eye-to-eye.
We had a wonderful stay at The Loisium. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The spa was incredible with heated outdoor pool; two saunas (at different temperatures) and Hamman.
The food was fabulous- all sourced locally and the wine is spectacular!
Would recommend this to anyone who wants to break up a journey travelling back to the UK as it’s around 3hrs from Eurotunnel
The hotel is located near Gare de Colma and is also close to many intercity bus stops and theaters, making travel convenient.
Breakfast also includes a full range of French meals, and a variety of drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, hot water) are available 24 hours a day, but they must be consumed in the lobby on the first floor. You can also use cups to drink in the room.
However, the room is small, which is only commensurate with its three-star grade and price. The room is not equipped with a toothbrush, you can go to the front desk to ask for one; once again, however, slippers are really not provided, so friends who are traveling by train can choose to endure it or bear the burden.
The luggage is stored in the basement, self-service, you can use the elevator to go down, don't miss the elevator and move it downstairs by yourself.
However, the tables, chairs and beds are quite small, so larger families may consider this option. The air conditioning or heating in the room can only be turned on by calling the front desk, but it is not cold when turned on, the temperature is ok. The hotel's homemade yogurt is great, especially with blueberry jam. Figure 4 is the environment outside the window
We booked two deluxe double rooms. One was acceptable, a standard deluxe room, but the other was very disappointing. After we raised our concerns, we were moved to a different room. Although it was slightly better, it was still far from satisfactory: the sink wouldn't drain properly, which was quite inconvenient, and the entire bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell. The facilities were completely substandard for a 4-star hotel. It simply wasn't worth the price.

GGuest UserGreat location for train travelers because the hotel is across the plaza from the station. A 15-20 minute walk to the Cathedral and about the same for Petit France. Plenty of trams and buses and the little tourist train can be boarded at the Cathedral. Good breakfast at the hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. It would help if the staff posted notices on the doors of the rooms to please close the doors quietly - most of the guests slammed them and the place echoes,
CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.
TTORACOGood location.
I visited during Christmas time.
Christmas market
When I asked how long the event would last, they said until today.
Because I was told
Visit the projection mapping of Reims Cathedral the next day
The change was made, but the projection mapping was until today and the Christmas market was held throughout December.
I would like to have accurate information about event schedules etc.

EExploreWithMoThe location is the main catch - 7 mins drive to the airport and 1 min walk to the France/Swiss border. Bus stop is right in front of the property and the tram stop is just 4 mins away. The apartment is ok, just basic. The property is a bit old but well maintained but can use some renovations especially the carpet. I perceived a funny smell as I stepped into the room (I think it's from the carpet). The service is fantastic, the staff attends to you with smiles always. There's a private swimming pool . There's a kitchenette in the room with some essentials(fridge, kettle , pots, plates, microwave, cutlery , induction and co)though I didn't get to use them. The room is spacious but the shower room is small. The cleaning can be done better - found some hair strands on the floor, dust/stains on the chair and the barrier at the back door/balcony. I like that the main door is always locked and you are given a code to unlock it from outside, feels safe. There's someone at the front desk 24 Hours. There is a restaurant directly opposite the property, I had dinner there on my first night, not bad and the price is reasonable. More cafes, shops and restaurants down the street about 3/4 minutes walk. The Lady at the front desk assisted me to order a taxi to the airport. New hand towel and sponge in the kitchenette Overall, not bad and it's reasonably priced.
GGuest UserThe location is quite convenient, with attractions and the station reachable within fifteen minutes. Both the rooms and public facilities are very clean and in good condition. The staff are all very friendly. The bar is lively with music at night (a bit noisy), but the music stops precisely on time. The shower facilities are quite basic, with a fixed showerhead, and the hot water isn't hot enough, leaving you a bit cold after a shower.
JJimmy JassinUnfortunately, we had to change rooms twice because the rooms, especially those on the third floor, weren't cleaned properly. As someone with allergies or asthma, this really wasn't a good idea. I woke up every morning with an allergic reaction and had trouble breathing. For someone paying at least €80 a night at this hotel, you can expect a minimum level of cleanliness. There was so much dust on and around the pictures, as well as under the bed and the vents, that just looking at it made you feel sick. On top of that, there was a large construction site across the street with lots of noise and little privacy. It was still once and not at all recommendable.
GGuest UserI understand that this is a backpacker's hotel for an overnight stay, so I expect that the hotel will be near the highway and understand that I need to walk on the dark road for about 1km to get there, but at least, they need to let the guest enter the lobby first.
I arrived at the hotel at around midnight, the receptionist was away, nobody was at the desk and the work was outsourced to somebody working remotely with the intercom at the front of the building. The hotel implemented a new checking system using a check-in machine, which will need a code in the confirmation email. However, the code was nowhere to be found wherever in the trip.com app or the confirmation email of mine.
More frustratingly, the reception clerk had a very strong French accent in his English, so we couldn't understand each other clearly. In the end, a kind gentleman went down smoking and helped me communicate with them in French, solving my issue. If he wasn't there, I would probably have got locked outside for the night. This is unbelievable.
This is a very unpleasant experience. I'm writing to tell other international tourists to stay away from this place, if you can't solve these issues like me.
