What a pleasure to stay here! The location in the Old City is beautiful and interesting, with a benefit of being easy to find. The owners have a wonderful service attitude, and tried to help me with all my little issues. My room was cozy and quiet, sloping roof meet the eaves with a courtyard view. The owners offer railway station pick up, but if you end up taking a taxi, direct the driver to the north gate.

This hotel was really good! It was in a smaller alley, so not alot of noise, close to the ancient city. In 10 minutes walk you will already have the views of the city walls. It was very easy to reach by bus from the high speed train station (Datongnan). The room was beautiful, bed was super comfy and everything was clean. No cigarette smell either. Staff was really friendly and could speak some English which was pleasant. There is also a coffee and cocktail bar in the lobby, we only tried the coffee, but it was a nice!

The appearance and interior of the hotel are very modern and fashionable. The bathroom in the room is separated by dry and wet cleaning. Parking is free. The service is very considerate. It is close to Wanda and not far from the Mural Museum and Outlets. It is very convenient whether staying or traveling. There is also a delicious Chinese and Western breakfast. Worth coming again.

This hotel may seem expensive, but it really is worth it. Super clean public areas and super clean rooms. Bright, light and with a large tv (which you can stream from your phone / laptop) , desk, fridge, kettle, etc... The toilet has a bidet feature which is great. The location is opposite street food vendors and Linfen park. There is no noise from them, so don't worry about it. But it is around a 30min walk / 5 min car to the nearest shopping area, so I'll mark it down a little on location. Facilities are great, great laundry room that also has little items like a lint roller, wool pilling remover, color catching sheets etc... are all provided.  The gym has two technogym treadmills and a rowing machine and bike. All great quality but the gym has no weights at all.  But the cardio machines are very high quality.  Service is great. everyone is super attentive and polite.  The bed is high quality and pillows are lovely. USB A and USB C on each side of the bed.  Wifi is very good and fast, I was able to remote play into my PS5 without issue (just use the streaming TV wifi)  There's a separate desk also. The shower and toilet are separated which means one can shower while the other person can still use the toilet. Towels are great too.  There is one issue I found was that the room was too hot and the AC didn't do much, the staff gave me a desk fan which was helpful.  This hotel may seem costly, especially as many other hotels in Linfen have good reviews, but this is my third hotel in Linfen and this hotel is worth it. If you don't care about the weights in gym then you don't need to think about it and book this place. 

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the ancient city. There were some international options at breakfast, which was very appreciated. The staff is helpful when you ask for information. For what I have personally experienced, the hotel was super quiet too. The room i was given (308) was clean and the bed was comfy, but I must admit it was very cramped for two people. It would serve better as a single room. Also, I think the bathroom in room 308 could use a good restyling, especially the shower. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

We arrived in the evening and it was raining a lot therefore we appreciated so much their free pick up from the train station to the hotel! The structure is simply beautiful and the owners are really kind. They gifted us of a local vinegar bottle, the rooms are simple but clean and the breakfast as well is nice. The position is strategic in the city centre of the old Pingyao. They allowed us to store our luggages on the day of the departure. We definitely recommend to stay here :)

We traveled as a family of five to Pingyao and stayed three nights at the Jinxuan hotel. The stay was an absolute delight, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with everything. They picked us up from the train station which made it very easy to find a place. Jinxuan it’s located in the very heart of Pingyao and everything is easy to reach on foot. The facilities are simple and clean, the rooms are located in a very quiet patio of one of the traditional houses in in Pingyao. We stayed in a duplex room that offered lots of space for a family. The breakfast is traditional Chinese and the hosts spoiled us on the last day with some homegrown corn and tomatoes. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, we can absolutely recommend this place. 

Our stay far exceeded our expectations! We had some initial concerns after reading a few reviews mentioning issues, but our actual experience was fantastic! 1. The hotel's location is superb; there are plenty of dining and drinking options right downstairs, and it's convenient for visiting all the attractions. 2. Before our arrival, a staff member called to confirm our check-in time. The security guard at the entrance helped us with our luggage, and check-in at the front desk was swift. We arrived around 8 PM, and the lovely front desk staff, noticing we needed dinner, proactively offered us a voucher to use at the hotel restaurant. So, our first meal in Taiyuan ended up being at the hotel. It was a little on the expensive side, but the food was delicious, averaging ¥80 per person. 3. The hotel offers laundry facilities, which is very convenient. My only minor complaint is that three washing machines seem a bit few; it would be great if they could add more. 4. The room was just right for two adults and one child, and it was kept clean. However, the bathroom has a semi-open design, requiring both a curtain and a sliding door to be closed for full privacy. Breakfast was fairly average, and essentially the same both days. One slightly inconvenient feature was that the room lighting is controlled entirely by 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant), without separate wall panels. This wasn't always convenient, and interacting with Xiao Du wasn't always smooth. I really hope they consider switching back to traditional light switches for greater flexibility. Despite these minor points, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....
