A great hotel with many facilities such as pool and sauna, very good food, very good and friendly service. We felt well. Bade coat, kids playroom, air hockey, table tennis plate and much more, so also ideal for families. Eat in the restaurant.
Breakfast was very delicious, even if the outdated lactose free milk had somewhat trimmed the breakfast. It was nice that you could cook your own eggs according to your own preferred.
Rooms with very beautiful views, everything was clean and maintained.
We're happy to come back...
We had two reservations for two rooms over trip due to the booking location - the staff has combined them to one, so we didn't have to change - for 5 stars. When we left, we wanted to use a late check-out, which also worked and all even free - :)
The hotel is super - right at the entrance to the parsing railway. We had a Deluxe room on the street and because of the ice parking it was a little noisy in the evening.
The Chesa restaurant is also very recommended - great price-performance ratio and very good food, too, not overfyld!
The breakfast is abundant and we found everything we needed including omelet and egg-Benedict freshly prepared by order (included). For an 5-Sterne hotel, however, it could have been a little more - whether it was a larger fruit selection, a variety of seeds/grains and nuts, the Prosecco or the Alliance meat, what was not all.
The rooms are greatly renovated - the wood smells great and we have felt very well. Only some outdoor areas (lift, some passages) are not yet renovated - in the lift you have unfortunately smelled the age by the intensive winter athletes sometimes.
The spa area is a little small for the size of the hotel, the steam bath was unfortunately broken - but for us it was enough. A massage booking on the same day was not possible - even if we missed guests who did not understand what it was - here it means pre-booking early - then the SPA was enough.
We would come back in any case - a great hotel in Davos with a fair price-performance ratio, just to get real 5-Sterne-Feeling, one or other place is likely to be sliped up.
Hilton Gardon Davos Hotel is located in the center of Davos, about 10 minutes by bus from the train station. The city is not big and the transportation is very convenient. The conditions and facilities of Hilton Hotel are very good, the environment is very good, and the hygiene is good. It is suitable for business trips or family trips.
Went to Maienfeld to visit the Heidiland. The hotel was very convenient and around 3 minutes walk from the train station. Hotel itself is big situated in a small and quiet village. Room was good with very basic amenities. Nice hotel and with WiFi. Nice garden as well and our room was facing it. Will definitely stay here again if visiting heidiland again.
Geografisch top gelegen. Unterhalb des Hotels 2 schöne, saubere Parkanlagen. Davos Feuerwerksverbot, was wir suchten.
I can only recommend the Hard Rock Hotel Davos. The location is super central, you only need a few minutes from Davos Platz to get there.
The staff is really very friendly and helpful (especially Carla from the reception) and also the staff from the restaurant and the bar. The rooms are a little narrow, the terrace is very spacious and on the south side, we got great sun.
The breakfast buffet was very tasty and left nothing to be desired.
We were welcomed very well , friendly , gentle , sympathy , everything at the most . we made dinner was excellent , I will go again and advise friends

GGuest UserI booked to stay in a dorm of 4, however there were 5 beds in the room. Not a huge problem as there ended up only being 4 people staying, but the extra bed did make the room feel very small.
The toilet and shower room are very dated, there’s only a single toilet and shower for around 3 dorm rooms. I guess you could go to another floor/block, but I’ve never seen this before in a hostel of this size. The toilet and shower were kept clean though.
The lounge area is nice and spacious, the staff were helpful with any questions and there’s lockers both in the room and the basement. Certainly not a bad hostel, but was expecting better.
SSteffen HESCHE 1The hotel is good located. Near by a bus station. Hotel is new and modern, however we have seen a lot of things which needs to be repaired. Parking is expensive with 24 euros per day.
Smell in our room was terrible on arrival. Until I noticed that in the shower the cleaner removed the water outlet so that the bad smell could come in. Only one of the restaurants was open and not much of selection is possible. I would not recommend the restaurant. Waiter said to my daughter that the spaghetti from kids menu is too small and he will make it bigger, then charged 28 euros instead of 18. The Spaghetti was tooooo Al dente. Most of the waiters are unfriendly and let us not feel welcomed. Overall: we will not book this hotel again.
My friend got a handicapped room even he booked the higher category. It seems they had no other room but they did not tell him during checkin. When he asked later they offered another room after 2 days. We complained that we don't like the room but they said many people like it.. Hey, hotel management, when somebody pays so much for a hotel who is not handicapped he don't like a shower curtain instead of nice glass walls, he don't need open space concept cabinets, he needs normal cabinets with doors, he may like to sit on the sofa.. But there was no sofa.
Heating? Not on by purpose. Only when we complained they turned the heater on after 1 day. Instead they provided mobile heater . We talked to other guests who had the same issue. 5* hotel?
The pool temperature was way too low. The noise there unacceptable due to the design which is simple painted concrete walls. Spa are is 3 star only. Nothing which let you stay there for long.
Breakfast was quite good we enjoyed this the most.
To leave the hotel everybody is using the way over the ski room...terrible layout. The layout is not well planned.
GGuest UserThe most convenient location when getting off of the train, directly across the street from the station!
The hostel is a 15 minute walk from the town main street and has a restaurant right next door, also.
The hostel itself is neat, although there is no elevator it's only got 3 floors and the stairs were spacious enough so getting to the room wasn't too bad.
The mixed 6bed dorm on the 3rd floor was rather small, it may be challenging to move around it should all the beds be filled and everyone would have luggage. The pillow and duvet covers were really nice, clean and felt good on the skin. The room temperature was good. Both, the towels and the room locker were extra (CHF 3 for the towel, CHF 2 for the locker). The window was overlooking the train station, so although it wasn't ”mountain view”, it was entertaining watching people get off the Bernina Express and take selfies and posing as groups before hopping back on.
The bathrooms are separated for male/female and are spacious, the female portion was clean and the water was nice and hot.
The common areas had seating, electric kettle, books.. but nothing much was happening there.
The restaurant seemed cozy with its fireplace, it is a shame it is limited to certain hours :( and the guests are expected to leave promptly. Breakfast ends at 10am and the staff does check to make sure everyone is gone. Dinner is 6-8pm I believe, and again, after dinner the place is locked down. It would have been lovely to be able to sit by the fireplace after dinner.
Breakfast was tasty and provided some hard boiled eggs, yogurts, muesli, cereal, breads, jelly, honey...
Reception staff was very friendly and helpful!
Overall a great stay and I would stay again.
ZZhangJQ2010The location of the hotel is very good, very good, and then the hotel service is also in place, although the price is a bit expensive, but all aspects are quite satisfactory, each determination may be that the room is still relatively small, there is no other problem
GGrace Chee Wai AngThe location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads.
Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big
However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests.
But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning.
AAudlumHotel was located farther from the train station than i expected, and was on a seemingly quiet street. wasn't quite the case as a regular stream of loud people walking and chattering late into the night could be heard in the room. very hot season so windows had to be kept wide open as sweating inside. There was one instance of ringing of bells for like 15 min non-stop on a Sun night, not sure why. Fortunately not repeated while there, the hourly ones were short. Has to be said this was the best price I could find within the vicinity, room and toilet facilities were basic but decent. Be warned though, other than shops in the train station, absolutely nothing was open on Sunday including restaurants. Not an exciting town to see either. Bring instant noodles if you must stay.....
GGuest UserHotel Franziskaner has the best location in the Chur old town, where is just 10 minutes walk (flat roads) from Chur Train Station which is adjacent to the Bus Station. Bus ride only takes 2 stops to the outside of the hotel. The Hotel staff gave us a Chur pass for public transportation and also some advice of where to visit. We love the breakfast. Coffee is good. Hotel staff were friendly. The window of our hotel room has good views of the old town. However, the hotel does not have an elevator and you need to carry your luggage up to your floor. My hotel room only has 2 power outlets under the bedside tables and you need to kneel down to plug in your phone for charging.
GGuest UserAt this price in Switzerland, it is very good, health and service are very good, and the room is big.
Although it is a bit far from the city, there is a great jungle hiking place nearby, which is very suitable for parents and children: the distance is suitable and the scenery is great and there is a little challenge. If it is a transit, I recommend everyone to come to this hotel.
The following is the recommended hiking location nearby: turn left from the hotel (just walk) all the way along the path to the dam, and then cross the dam to reach the hiking starting point (about 2 hours back and forth): smugglers trail
GGuest UserStaff were helpful, especially since I arrived so late. Showers, toilets and room were very clean, and medium valuables lockers for CHF2 coin (returned on unlocking) available in room, and space to hang your jacket.
There were self serve pay-as-you go drinks and some light snacks available downstairs. Coming by foot, it's a bit of a walk uphill for about 15mins. Brekkie is short availability but has hot/cold selections. Your nearest food/coffee (bakery) is 15-20 min walk away.
Ski lift pass is $15 at front desk, go for the views and trails.
GGuest UserNice hotel in a small, quiet village. We stayed there for two nights, before and after doing the Bernina Express. Great location - trip down to Tirano and back easily done in the one day. Train links then available back via Chur or Davos.
Lady on reception didn't speak much English, but was very helpful and easy to sort things out with. Room clean, tidy and quiet.
Grocery shop next to hotel entrance was an extra convenience. Walk down from the train station was a bit steep, but a local bus runs hourly.
