First of all, the scenery in Lucerne exceeded my expectations! The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Lucerne, and you can see the scenery when you step out. You can sit downstairs for an afternoon✅
🗺️ Location:
Turn right at the Weggis Pier for 50 meters. There is a bus stop downstairs from the hotel. Go out the hotel front desk and go up the slope to the Rigi cable car. It takes about 8 minutes to climb, so the transportation is very, very convenient!
🏠 Environmental facilities:
The hotel is relatively traditional, not a star-rated hotel. It provides breakfast and has its own restaurant. The rooms are not big and some have terraces, facing Lake Lucerne. It is clean and hygienic.
✅Service attitude:
The boss personally helped to carry the luggage🧳, thank you very much; the sister at the front desk was super nice, check-in was very smooth, and she gave Rigi's travel guide and introduced it in detail, including several routes up the mountain and how long it takes to walk. When I was leaving, I saw my earrings and complimented them on how beautiful they looked. It made me feel good for the day!
It is a few stops away from the train station. But it is still quite convenient. It is just across the road to get to the hotel. There are many fast food restaurants around and an Aldi supermarket is not far from there. The included breakfast are delicious and have a reasonable choice of the food and drinks. Room is clean and has all the facilities expected. No fridge though. It’s good money to value. Will recommend for a quality room with good service within a reasonable price range.
Cute little hotel walking distance from the train station and just 1 min from the bus stop. Excellent location for exploring old town. There’s free water , coffee and tea at the reception. I highly recommend.
Excellent location, with easy access to transport and a supermarket right next door.
The rooms were a bit on the small side.
The breakfast spread was plentiful and varied – highly recommended!
Service quality could be inconsistent; some staff members were very friendly and helpful.
The family rooms offer better value for money compared to the double rooms.
The room is large and spacious, with stunning views of the golf course. The snow-capped mountains, lakes, and grasslands are so beautiful. Get together with friends and enjoy the comfort of swinging freely
The hotel is in a great location, very convenient to all attractions, basically within walking distance. Ask the hotel front desk for a tourist certificate to get a free bus card.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station. It's less than a 5-minute walk; just turn left after exiting the station and cross the road. Upon checking in and arriving at my room, I was surprised to find the door wide open, the windows also wide open, and a trash can sitting on a chair. I went back to the front desk to inquire if the room was still being cleaned. I was told it had already been cleaned, and I was instructed to simply move the trash can myself. Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, this was a first for me. The hotel appears to be newly renovated and is very clean. However, the amenities are quite basic; there's no mini-fridge or electric kettle. Furthermore, the curtains are just a sheer layer, with no blackout option, which definitely affected my sleep.
The location of the hotel is perfectly beautiful and conveniently close to public transport. This includes the boats which go on various trips on the lake.
Service in the hotel was very good and I would especially like to mention Kenny at reception who was happy to go the extra mile. The food was good and a wonderful breakfast buffet is served. The coffee was good, croissants and bread fresh, a wonderful selection of good quality jam, simply excellent.
For those who wanted, there was even smoked salmon and on certain days, a glass of bubbly!!
Would also like to mention the two ladies who run “breakfast” and keep things clean and fresh. Thank you.

GGuest UserThe location is good, staff are nice, and the size of family room is great. But the bath tub was getting a bit suck.
In addition, as my stay us during heatwave, there is AC but the temperature cannot be controlled very smoothly, thus a bit hot during the sleep.
ZZuoyeyoumengVery good, good location, but the hotel is old, which is definitely a common problem of European hotels. There is no way around it. But this price is very good in Switzerland. I highly recommend everyone to stay here during the peak season
PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.
TtasyThe check-in process was really difficult. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM. The self check-in machine couldn’t find our booking. We called for help and talked on the phone for a long time, but still couldn’t check in. Luckily (and unluckily), some other guests arrived and had the same problem. Because there were more of us, finally a male staff member agreed to come and check the machine.
This staff member kept saying it was our fault – that we entered our name wrong, or that we mixed up the first name and last name. He insisted the machine had worked fine for six months and couldn’t be broken. We tried different combinations of our names many times, but nothing worked. He tried too – and when it still didn’t work, he finally admitted the machine was the problem. Around 11:30 PM, we finally entered the rooms.
The next day, after we explained everything, the very friendly and polite ladies at the front desk kindly gave us a 10% discount. Most things about the hotel were great, and the front desk ladies were super helpful. We fully understand that technical problems happen sometimes, and waiting 2.5 hours to check in was also okay for us. We doNOT blame anyone or anything for that. But what we couldn’t understand was how the staff member insisted it was our fault and how he did NOT believe anything we said, and his attitude was a bit rude when we tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault.
CChianrueyxiaojueThe room was decent, but they charged me 9.8 CHF for city tax when I checked out, in cash, and didn't provide a receipt. After I left, they then charged my credit card another 9.8 CHF and denied it. Luckily, Trip.com covered it.
HH JainThe room shown in pictures didn’t match what was offered on site. Very misleading. Took an hour of to and fro to be allocated a different room. The travel voucher never arrived by email, spent $$ on travel first day (shouldn’t have to) and got a travel voucher later after escalating to customer service. Breakfast was fine.
It’s a nice property but a few niggles as above. Must show correct pictures for rooms on advert.
JJiayouThis is likely the best value accommodation in Lucerne, given its good facilities. It's conveniently located near the train station. They provide both a water dispenser and hot water. The pods themselves were surprisingly quiet and very clean.
SShirley wanThe room was quite spacious and located right next to the train station, making public transport very convenient. There's a large supermarket nearby, and the hotel's Spanish restaurant is excellent; guests even get a discount on their meals.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location, with easy access to transport and a supermarket right next door.

MM255119****1. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a 2-minute walk from the train station: turn left, then left again, and cross the road.
2. The hotel breakfast is fantastic, which is rare for Europe. Everyone takes a banana on their way out after breakfast, it's pretty much a given, and no one bats an eye. 😂
3. The room is spacious enough for two people. We were a family of three, and they added an extra small bed for us.
4. The hotel facilities, decor, and service attitude are all very good.
5. Check-out is at 11 AM.
Aside from being a bit pricey, everything else was perfect. We stayed during the October holiday, 3 people, including breakfast, at 4500 per night. Breakfast is definitely a must-have, as eating out could be even more expensive. Food, trains, and accommodation are all expensive in Switzerland.
