The hotel is conveniently located near Zhanqiao Pier, and it's just a 7-8 minute walk to Qingdao Railway Station, Metro Line 1, and Line 3, making getting around super easy. We booked two king-size rooms for three nights. The rooms were quite spacious, and the hotel has a lovely German-style aesthetic, with grand pianos in the hallways, which really sets a nice mood. There are also plenty of dining options within walking distance. I highly recommend it to friends if they ever get the chance to visit.

I read the reviews, all five stars, and decided to give it a try, and it didn't disappoint. First, the owner suggested climbing Mount Tai at night last night, which would likely allow me to see the sunrise I'd been longing for, making my trip to Mount Tai complete and without regrets. Second, the room was great value for money, simply decorated, clean and comfortable. Since it had just opened, the facilities were brand new and complete. Most importantly, the owners' service made me feel right at home. No matter how late it was, they provided pick-up and drop-off services, and were always there for me. No matter how many times, they were incredibly attentive. What touched me most was that when I accidentally left my water cup, the owners immediately drove to the scene halfway there to bring it to me. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and will definitely stay here again next time. I will definitely recommend it to my friends visiting Tai'an.

A hidden gem of a hotel nestled right inside Daming Lake Scenic Area! It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, with stunning lake and mountain views right from your window, and the night scenery is especially captivating. The New Chinese-style design is elegant and classic, with every detail showcasing Jinan's 'Spring City' culture. The rooms are fully equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area. The service is warm and professional; the front desk staff patiently recommended local attractions and even gifted us boat tickets. Sipping tea while admiring the lake and strolling through the gardens provides an immersive experience of Jinan's charm.

The hotel is right next to Baotu Spring, within walking distance. It's very quiet at night, and I even got a room upgrade when I checked in late.
Next door is Ma Jia Quanshui Baozi, a famous steamed bun shop in Jinan, so I didn't book breakfast at the hotel. Instead, I went there early in the morning to queue up and got my food quickly, but don't expect too much.
They even gave me a small gift when I checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. It's also not far from Jinan High-Speed Railway Station.

Cleanliness: We stayed in a twin room. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation and a smart toilet. The bedding was dry and comfortable.
Environment: The room offered a view of the courtyard, which was very pleasant. There was a tea table, lots of greenery, and a lovely layout.
Service: Excellent! Very friendly. The staff were very kind and helpful. They even asked about the cable car schedule for us and encouraged us to set off soon! 😘 We slept soundly after our hike. The courtyard was quiet, the room was clean, and the bed was just the right softness. Everything was great. We loved the elegant courtyard! 🥰 There's a parking lot and charging stations outside, making it very convenient for those driving.

Location: Located almost in the middle of the old town, very easy to find, and not far from anywhere, especially close to Fuxing Square (the venue for the fireworks show). 😉
Environment: There's a small courtyard with a swing, quite rustic, and a friendly stray cat. The rooms, though small, are clean and hygienic, though there might be mosquitoes in the summer. The only drawback is the slightly poor soundproofing; a pair of earplugs would solve the problem perfectly. 😎
Service: Customer service adds you on WeChat in advance, providing reminders and allowing you to ask questions directly. They also provide a printed guide map, marking important performance locations and times. ☺
There's a restaurant downstairs, and there are discounts for guests! I tried a few local specialties, and I highly recommend the duck egg rice noodles and mutton soup (I forgot to take pictures). 😰

Facilities: Complete
Environment: Very close to the city center and the Quanxiu show. Clean and sanitary.
Service: Everyone was very welcoming and very Shandong-style 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The only downside was the poor soundproofing. I could hear my neighbors talking on the phone, chatting, and even yelling at their children.
Environment: The room photos on Ctrip were accurate to the room.

This is an inn inside the ancient city scenic area. It is natural that the room rate includes tickets. Check-in is done at the tourist service center. The scenic area is not big, and the hotel is within walking distance from the entrance of the scenic area. The shuttle bus service is of little significance, but the luggage check-in service is still meaningful. The hotel is very close to the stage of the evening spring show, but on holidays, the exclusive area is also crowded. The overall development of the scenic spot is okay.

I was immediately drawn to the scenery of this ancient town after seeing it on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). Since I was traveling with a young child, I wanted a place close by, and that's how I found the family room at Biangu Inn. The room was spacious and bright, with a small tent – a wonderful little haven for toddlers. Finding a room like this in the ancient town is rare. The receptionist, Ms. Yu, was especially kind and attentive, incredibly friendly to children. My child loved her. The inn's location is also excellent, right in the heart of the ancient town, very close to breakfast options. There are also fireworks and drone shows in the evenings, not far from the inn. The breakfast was perfect; for only 30 RMB per person, there was a wide variety of choices, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious – we couldn't even use it all! Overall, it was a really great trip – a truly perfect experience!

This was a fantastic experience, an unforgettable stay. Our whole family loved it! We hike Mount Tai with our kids every year, and this year we chose a B&B close to the entrance. It happened to be the hottest weather, but the air conditioning was incredibly effective upon entering the hotel, making it incredibly cool and comfortable. The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! There's no reason not to stay here next time! A five-star rating is a must!
I highly recommend this B&B! It's very close to the beach, the room is spacious and bright, the decoration style is very good, the facilities are complete, the surrounding environment is quiet, and I slept very well at night

Very Good
I had a flight with an overnight layover in Qingdao, so I opted to stay locally in a hotel. 'Locally' meant riding two stops on the subway, and catching the bus for two stops which altogether cost me less than £1. Probably about $1 US, or €1. However, I had to wait a while for the bus, so it took me about an hour. Upon arrival, the landlord treated me like a king and was exceptionally helpful. I can speak Chinese, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless people can speak a little Chinese and can read basic sentences. The hotel is fairly basic but, as I said, the proprietors are extremely accommodating and told me to ask if I needed anything. The landlord showed me where to eat locally (and physically took me there!) and when I left, he showed me where the nearest bus stop is (photo). I couldn't make the hot water work for a shower, but had I asked I'm sure they would have sorted it. I was in a bit of a rush in the morning and I didn't want to make a fuss. The bed was hard (like I Chinese prefer) but I slept well. There was no kettle in the room, but boiling water was provided. The area is out in the country, so if you want to see how ordinary Chinese live, this is a good opportunity. City hotels are quite westernised but this place is authentic Chinese. Pictures are of the bus stop and the subway station. Although I was told that a taxi might only cost me a little over a pound.

You won’t be disappointed staying here. I’m a female solo traveler who doesn’t speak Chinese, and I booked this hotel in a rush right after arriving at Jinan’s train station on a rainy day, feeling quite confused about what to do; the staff contacted me immediately and helped me all the way to the hotel, carrying my bags, opening an umbrella, and guiding me to a beautiful room. They even allowed early check-in, provided an umbrella for walking around town, and gave me a free breakfast voucher—sobtouch. Cookies at checkout were a thoughtful touch, and the serene lake view provided a perfect quick recharge between days of sightseeing—great for a short stay within my 14-day longer itinerary in China. The hotel isn’t in the city centre, but you can get around easily by Didi (about 7–10 minutes to major spots). At night it’s perfect for a peaceful sleep.

Friendly and attentive staff. The lake view rooms offer a welcome respite from the bustle of the surrounding area. Good location with Baotu Spring and Spring City Square nearby. Plenty of options for shopping and dining in the area. Clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok, but could be improved. Recommended.
The room was quite good and we recommend it. Clean enough, the heating (ac) was running smoothly. It’s in the perfect location as it’s in the German part of town. 10 mins towards the nearest metro station and 15 mins to the nearest railway station. The bathroom interior was very beautiful! Retro style in the whole hotel is just wonderful. The breakfast was just okay for us. If you like collecting stamps, there are many Qingdao stamps at the reception.

The owner and her son are very kind, helpful and did their best to help me out in everything. They clearly explained all the sightseeing places, routes, and transportations which helped me save my time and travel in the most enjoyable way. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Home-made breakfast by the owner was very delicious. Wi-fi signal was very good. The Hotel location is the best on Lao Shan Mountain. It’s exactly on the mountain walkable to Tai Qing Gong, Shang Qing Gong, and Ming Xia Dong. And only 2 minutes walk to see the sunrise. If I go back to Laoshan, I will stay here again. Thank you for taking good care of me. Highly recommended!
