Room 608:
The hotel has a good location and room 608 is facing the river and the hills what is very nice.
The room is large and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nobody spoke English but everyone tried hard with the translator to communicate with me.

Excellent location, close to the river banks and the local branch of a nice Hunan cuisine restaurant.
Superb views on the river.
Fantastic staff, who helped us find a driver for the next day and managed to negotiate the price we intended to pay.
Rooms will soon need to be refurbished, but they are still OK. The newly renovated breakfast area is especially promising.
The only drawback is the smell of cigarettes in the room, but it might be possible to request a non-smoking room.

This is the most luxurious hotel room I have ever stayed in, with high cost performance and overall good value. By the way, Ziyuan is a spiritual place with beautiful mountains and waters, which is worth seeing. I hope the management here can be improved to a higher level.
