Hezhou Shuimo Inn

This guesthouse is nestled within the ancient town, conveniently located near Longmen Street. Its main draw is the peaceful atmosphere. It's perfect for families. Plus, there's a small rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor, ideal for evening drinks while enjoying the night views.

Unfortunately, our room had a few issues: the window wouldn't close, there was no hot water, and the air conditioning wasn't providing heat. However, these problems didn't dampen my overall positive impression of Huangyao. Wandering through the ancient town was incredibly delightful and relaxing! It's definitely worth a visit!

My stay in Huangyao was made truly special by this guesthouse. I felt incredibly fortunate to have secured the last available room during the busy Spring Festival. Stepping into the room, a profound sense of tranquility enveloped me, making me wish time could simply stand still. I particularly loved the room's floor-to-ceiling windows and the guesthouse's charmingly traditional roof design. The room also boasted a small balcony, offering beautiful views of the lake and fireworks. I'll definitely be back to stay here again on my next visit. Its location, very close to Jielong Gate, was super convenient, and the guesthouse having both a front and a back entrance was a delightful bonus!
