Mercure Hotel Stuttgart Gerlingen Reviews

Location was perfect for my visit of friends in Gerlingen. Parking is easy. Front desk was not giving a welcoming feeling, but different staff at departure was great. The main issue was housekeeping knocking everyone’s door and entering the room at 8:20am on a Sunday morning!! Strongly suggest to use the DO NOT DISTURB sign to sleep in.

It is very close to U6, only 5 minutes' walk away, the surrounding is very quiet, there are ample parking spaces, the breakfast is OK, the waiters are very enthusiastic, it takes 1 hour to take U6 to the exhibition, but it is from the starting point to the end point, and there are seats.

Staff really great. Very helpful and courteous. Good was great - great Pizza. Rooms very small and with no aircon the hotel is very hot. Lift noise in rooms nearby was excessive. Few issues but staff dealt with them very very well.

I come here regularly for regional meetings for my company. It's always fun to come here. Extremely pleasant atmosphere. All employees, including the manager, look after every guest and make sure that you feel comfortable here. The rooms are modern. The restaurant is highly recommended. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from the motorway exit.

The reason for the stay was a seminar. Probably my best stay so far. Great hotel, clean, tidy, top notch. I think the charm of this hotel can be traced back to the staff. I have never experienced such harmony in the staff of a hotel. The same goes for the hotel manager, Mr. Eberhard, who cares a lot about the well-being of his hotel guests. Simply great and highly recommended. Thank you for the first-class stay👍

The room is only big enough for a solo traveller. For two people there is enough space for one night. Since there is no wardrobe, we had to live out of a suitcase for five days. The bed is too narrow for two people. The room is only cleaned after the third night.

Nice hotel, now that there are new doors in the bathroom, the overall impression is good again and it has an acceptable price-performance ratio. Check-in sometimes takes a while, even if you are there twice a month. Until you register with the operator, etc., find company details. But things have improved now. I can highly recommend it.

The service is excellent. The effort to fulfill the wishes of their guests is commendable. The team is well trained and very friendly. The rooms are designed with guests in mind. The breakfast is of high quality and attractive. The price-performance ratio is very good and prompts us to book the hotel again soon.

We spent two nights here as part of a package trip to the Christmas markets. The room is ok but the bathroom is very small. The second day, the room had not been made. The wifi is quite hit and miss and only works intermittently. The breakfasts are very decent but there is only one coffee machine which is very insufficient. The two evening meals are unappetizing and not worthy of such an establishment.

It has been a few years since I stayed at this hotel and I have been greatly shocked by the deterioration it has suffered in almost every aspect. Upon arrival, very young and inexperienced receptionists (interns?) who get involved in all their procedures, resulting in a long and tedious check-in. The spartan rooms, with unbearable heat (they do not have air conditioning) that forces you to sleep as you were brought into the world. Unbearable noise from machinery (elevator?) throughout the night, making it difficult to rest. More noise from the terrace located just below the room window, discouraging opening it to try to lower the high temperatures. As if that were not enough, even more noise comes from the light train that runs a few meters from the hotel. Bar waitress (a girl with green highlights) haughty and rude, with totally unacceptable outbursts. Amazing room cleaning policy: only once every three days! I will not stay at this hotel again and I suggest everyone review other hotels in the area before booking here.
