"The boss is very good, the locals are enthusiastic, but the air conditioning is old and a bit noisy at night. The bed board is hard and it is ok for the Chinese. Overall, you can live here in the desert nearby."

"We stayed as a couple as part of a organised tour. It is literally in the oasis in the Draa Valley outside Zagora. The Riad is much bigger than the usual rooms around a courtyard. It has extensive grounds dotted about with African related sculptures and artefacts, with lots of interesting places to sit and chill, and plants and birds. Careful you don’t get lost! The pool setting is amazing. Rooms are spacious; ours was themed like a Berber tent, although I found the bed hard. Lunch and evening meals were the same menu - okay generic Moroccan and nothing special but staff were friendly; breakfast was disappointing and cold. Payment by cash only, no cards. You could get beer and good, reasonably priced local wine. WiFi worked fine. Overall a very beautiful setting."

"The entire experience with Karim Sahara was amazing. They picked us up at the airport and we spend few days in Marrakech before we went to the dessert. The car ride in the desert was super fun. Very comfortable tent with clean bathroom and shower. The staff are super kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. My wife enjoy sliding sandboard and the camp organized a camel ride for us. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to have a great experience in Maroccan desert."
